Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Hotel is central, clean & comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is very very comfortable. Having a shift issue with our first room, staff were extremely apologetic and accommodating. That was greatly appreciated by us.
Free mini bar which is generously full. Toiletries and safe provided. Outdoor pool area is very comfortable with sun loungers, bean bags & tables. Breakfast was absolutely delicious; their fresh orange juice was particularly excellent.
Special mention has to go to staff, in particular Xisco. Fabulous welcome and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Many thanks, looking forward to returning
Stayed here from May 31-June 3 with my fiancée. Immediately upon entering the room, there was a strong smell of mildew or mold. Contacted the front desk, and they sent someone up who poured some sort of cleaner down the sink and shower drains. Issue persisted. A short while later, was going to dinner and advised the front desk that I believed the issue was the AC. They sent someone else up, but couldn’t find the issue.
Apart from this, the room was clearly worn and hasn’t received any sort of love lately. Emailed their customer service and was offered the equivalent of like 50 dollars. Unfortunately because I generally like Melia properties, but won’t stay at this location again
Just home from beautiful Palma!! Myself & my mother had a 4 night stay at the Innside Melia Palma Centre in a basic twin room. The Hotel is located on a residential type street, however only a few minutes walk to the bustling centre, where there is plentyful shops, resturants & bars. The Hotel is spotless. All Staff very welcoming & helpful from giving directions to loaning a cork screw! We had booked room only but paid for breakfast at the hotel on 2 mornings. The breakfast was very good, I especially enjoyed the Mallorcan corner - I am a firm believer in embracing local cuisine!!! Our room was clean & modern with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The roof top bar/pool area was lovely - we booked a balinese bed to laze on following a treck round the local sights which was very relaxing. Palma its self is just stunning & when i return I would choose this hotel again for location, value, friendliness & comfort.
So we are Melia members and have stayed in a view on the island. In fact we will be going to the Gran Victoria Melia again soon.
The hotel is fine. We had a balcony room. Faith bit of wear and tear on parts on the room. Bathroom shower and tiles looks unmodernised and not in the innside style.
There is this awful air freshener thing right next to the lifts.... it literally leaves a coating in your mouth. Its gross. They need to remove that or change the frequency!
The jewel in the crown....rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. I think it was only 25 euro for a bali bed with a glass of cava and fruit. Bargain! Its a great view and great day or night. prices aren't bad wither. I would say I wish parents would control tjeor kids and relapse it's a shared abscess for all...not a kids splash or leisure pool...have fun by all means...but remember there are others trying to relax in the pool too!
Would I return? Yes if I needed to get a bus the next day as its 5 minutes away. Main city centre tre is 15 to 20 mons walk away. But a the rooftop pool is special as not many have that in city centre and if they do it costs alot to stay!
Definitely not a 4 star hotel 3 to3.5 is its limit Visited with my wife in July - location was ok 10 minute walk to Plaça mayor and a further 10 minutes to the sea. Our room was on the 6th floor and was small with a very small light in main area of the room which made it difficult when packing to return home Bathroom was tiny little space for toiletries 1 hook for 2 towels extractor fan was useless and shower head and rain shower worked at the same time - I’m sure it’s not meant to The outside terrace bar and restaurant was on 6the floor and the constant scraping of chairs made it intolerable when we were in the room at night why the hotel thinks this is acceptable I’m unclear Pool is very small but despite this there were many children which made the place very noisy as there was nothing else for them to do - I would not recommend bringing children here At check we weren’t asked if we’d had a good stay so didn’t mention anything Second time at a Meliá hotel - unlikely to chance it again
