The Tropico Playa Hotel offers everything you need to enjoy an all-inclusive stay in a magical location: on the seafront of Palmanova beach, one of the most popular areas on the island. This resort is only a 15 minutes drive from Palma city centre and is characterised by its close proximity to three fantastic white-sand beaches that boast crystal-clear water: Palmanova, Son Matias and Magaluf, making this hotel perfect for both beach and cultural getaways. Trust the guarantee that comes from the high percentage of guests who come back to visit us year after year, thanks to the great services we offer at the Tropico Playa Hotel, in addition to the extra personal touch from the Gran Isla Hotels Group.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
location is excellent arrived at 12.30/1am and not a sole about and was a little panicky thought we had come to over 70s. but bars finish in hotel at 11pm so perfect for a good night sleep but if you want to carry on drinking there's plenty of bars on the door step.food was amazing considering not loads of counters everyday something different for everyone how people can fault this food i dont know they must have terrible food at home.if you want to stay round the pool nice little snack bar with hot dogs burgers and chips only fault is pool doesnt open til 10. would be better at 9.30 but no bed saving with towels and no over crowding always beds even if you went at 12/1 pm.pool was lovely . room interior lovely and modern very spacious and comfortable shower was amazing . lovely dolce coffee machine so bring extra pods if u wish. plenty of drink choices cocktails and sangria and lovely outside bar in the evening .not the best entertainment so not the best for kids i think this hotel is lovely for couples very relaxing we are early 50s so loved the relaxed atmosphere. hotel smelly beutiful when you walk in and there's a sea view from rooms .lounge bar and dinner hall. beach is amazing but be aware beds are 24euros for 2 so my advise if your a big beach lover buy a lounger and brolly it's cheaper lots of beautiful restaurants if you walk out hotel to the left and lively bars and shops to the right. taxi to santa ponsa was 10euros lots of shows and lovely. beach all in all would definitely return to this hotel it's one of the best we've stayed in
A highly recommended hotel. It's conveniently located on the seaside promenade, with shops and restaurants nearby, and a wide, sandy beach just across the street. The proximity of the bus stop allows for independent exploration of the island. The hotel is friendly, especially to Polish tourists, thanks to the friendly, caring, and deliciously prepared Polish chef, Łukasz. To ensure the comfort of his fellow countrymen, he even included descriptions of the dishes in Polish. The food was delicious, fresh, and varied. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you.
This is a great hotel, perfect location right opposite the beach, easy transfer from Palma airport about 35mins. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels whenever you need them. Pool area is good, doesn't open until 10am so no sun bed saving, but always plenty of beds. There is food available from the pool bar all day until 6pm. The restaurant food is very good, a great breakfast, everything you could think of is available, lunch and dinner choices are also excellent and all the staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The Tropica bar which is attached to the hotel but also open to the public is a lovely space to chill out in the evening, if you are all inclusive you can get your drinks from the hotel bar and take them out there.
Now to the points that don't quite make this a 5* review. Entertainment- whilst the lady who organises the Entertainment im sure is very nice, the Entertainment is pretty poor, especially during the day, the pool area could do with introducing aqua aerobics or some poolside games, it needs more energy.
Again in the evening the poolside bar is not used enough, why not ln the evening put the entertainment, for what it is up there rather than in the rather small lounge area.
Also if you are going to offer cocktails could you not have crushed ice, at least for the mojitos!
All drinks are served in plastic glasses and whilst I understand why outside, surely glass can be used inside. Even the cups in the bedrooms are plastic! PS. Whilst the towels are changed frequently they are not very big! Things to bring with you, your own hairdryer, your own mugs and make sure you have pool shoes as the terrace gets verrrry hot.
Palma Nova is a great place to stay it has everything you need right on your doorstep, far enough away from Magaluff for it not to be a problem, very family orientated
This hotel is absolutely amazing the staff are friendly helpful and nothing was too much trouble we renewed our wedding vows while we were there (at Sisso Beach) and they were great letting me have my sisters in to help get ready and ordering us taxis Thank you for the bottle of fizz it was very much appreciated The food is excellent one of the best all inclusive restaurants we’ve tried and we have tried a few great selection Rooms were spotless only downside for us were the flight of stairs before the lift to our room but that only bothered us getting the cases up and down otherwise no issue pool area we could always get a lounger and again spotlessly clean Only issue here was when my grandson fell in the lifeguard was too busy on his phone but thankfully my daughter in laws quick response jumping in saved the day and he was fine but just be aware Entertainment lady was great although could do with done better evening choices overall we enjoyed it we will be returning
hi me and my husband just came back from this hotel read reviews before we went all was positive and good so we were looking forward to our main holiday yes clean staff friendly the stairs are a no no the food selection was small cold and everything with peppers it got bigger the more people arrived but not for the english mainly french and that 2 other couples said the same, entertainment was rubbish apart from 2 good singers in 10 days rooms need more draws beside the bed fridge needs taking out of the wardrobe so you can hang more clothes towels in bathroom very small the beach and area we know are very good but not this hotel.
