Son Caliu Hotel and Spa Oasis

The hotel is beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean, the rooms are comfortable and modern, excellent shower with plenty of hot water. The restaurant is buffet breakfast with good selection. Dinner is either in the restaurant or terrace area overlooking the outside bar, pool and sea view beyond, it is waiter service which was a lovely surprise. The bar and pool area are lush and green, the staff throughout were very friendly. Shout out to Danny at the bar especially. Short walk into Palma Nova or bus stop nearby. Taxi between 5€ and 10€ depending on time of day or night. Recommend a visit to Puerta Portals. Kabo restaurant just next door to the hotel. Origin and The Olive Tree in Palma Nova fabulous.

Great hotel, very welcoming and clean. Breakfast offering superb. However after three occasions of staying here we tried the evening meal for the first time which was disappointing to be honest. However the Hotel is still fantastic.

What an absolutely wonderful hotel. On arrival, it looked luxurious from the outside and when entering that reception. I was given a warm welcome and given some information about my stay. The room was ready quickly, was spacious and spotless. Although the balcony was small, it was enough for me as one person and I could see the sea from there. All of the waiting staff were extremely warm, friendly and attentive, even getting to know my name to greet me. They got to know the drinks I liked too, so I didn’t even need to ask! Cocktails were presented beautifully! I enjoy drinking cocktails so to see the effort they put into them was great. So refreshing on the hot days! The food was fresh, with the choice of two menus, one of which changes every day so lots of choice. The hotel has a private beach which was so incredibly peaceful. I would go down there in a morning as the sun was rising just to look out and listen to the waves. There was nobody being loud or rowdy so it was such a peaceful place to be with a beautiful view. I had two spa treatments during my stay. The spa was such a peaceful area to be with welcoming staff. I had a massage and I also had a hydrating ritual which consisted of a full body exfoliation then massage. I was so relaxed afterwards. The first massage was done by Allesandro. He did ask if I wanted him to focus on any certain areas and I said no, as I’d forgotten about my painful shoulder as it’s been going on for so long. Immediately after leaving my massage, the pain in my shoulder was completely gone, and a week later, I’ve still not had any pain. He was so thorough, relieved tension that had built up from working at a desk, and fixed my shoulder. There are lots of restaurants a short walk from the hotel, but bear in mind there’s quite a steep hill both there and back, so ensure to wear suitable footwear.
