Set just steps from the crystal clear waters and wide stretch of sand at Palmanova beach, this family-friendly hotel offers the perfect vacation spot on the sunny island of Mallorca. Families will delight in the four outdoor pools, including a large lagoon-style pool, children's pool and paddling pool for toddlers, and the hotel offers a full programme of entertainment with parties, evening shows and live music for adults and children alike. There is also a nursery and Flintstones-themed multi-adventure children's park. The two main restaurants offer rich and varied buffets with show cooking and international and regional dishes, while the pool bar and lounge bar serve a wide choice of drinks, juices and ice creams. This hotel's excellent facilities, services and location make it ideal for enjoying a carefree family holiday and discovering the most beautiful corners of the Mediterranean.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Short flights, short transfers and prime location. Everything you need either on the door step or a short drive away. Beach 2 minutes walk with any amount of restaurants, bars and shops close by. Seen some bad reviews but to me this was a budget holiday and had everything we needed. 3 swimming pools, lots of activities all day for kids and adults. 3 choices of entertainment on a night. Food is typical all inclusive food and there’s a snack bar through the day. Drink token situation is easy to manage. Real value for money in my opinion. Anybody who complains about that, should spend more money
Mallorca its self is actually beautiful The beaches are incredible, by far some of the best beaches I’ve ever been to and I’ve seen a few in my time. The people are friendly and welcoming and tbf don’t hound you to come in to shops and restaurants. Me and my son snorkelled in Palmanova and magaluf and it was one of the best things I’ve done. Unbelievable
Now to the hotel, after staying in turkey, a beautiful 5 star resort we didn’t know what to expect. And I’ll be honest, it’s a let down! The location is amazing I’ll be honest but other than that it was a Massive let down! The food is disgusting! The slushy machine is warm syrup. The sun bed thing is crazy. I didn’t anticipate how bad it would be after reading the reviews and it’s bad, 4.45am and sunbeds are full, luckily one guy made space for me to get by him. The second morning half of the pool area was locked off until 10am due to this reason so make it make sense. The bed is awful, two singles pushed together with a big sheet on. My 8 year ain’t the biggest but it’s principle, he’s sleeping on some beat down pull out chair that I wouldn’t want my dogs sleeping on. The hotel reps are cool people but couple of receptionist are rude and I didn’t appreciate it. Again I’d advise anyone to come to Mallorca which I’m going to come again, but I won’t stay here or recommend it, 5 nights for 1400 is defo not worth it. I’m not even a Karen like that but when it’s good I’ll write a review so I’ll do so if it’s bad!
Amazing hotel, rooms were stunning, so was the view and the food was also very nice. went for a week and went to a new place almost every day! I will definitely come back at some point in the future!
We stayed here for 1 week in July as a family of 3 with an almost 6 year old. The kids club was outstanding best I’ve experienced, they do a club from 10.30 to 1pm which had make your own pizzas one day; it’s in shelter and they provided the kids with water during the time there too, then they had another session at 3pm to 5.30pm which was age 5-8 which was perfect. The shows the hotel put on was amazing too; one night was a family games night full of big inflatables which our daughter loved. The food was a little repetitive but it’s to be expected catering for the amount of people. Plenty of choices though and champagne at breakfast time which was a nice touch. Hotel is spotless clean there are always cleaners through the full hotel daily. There is a slight smell but this isn’t just at the hotel it’s the surrounding area due to sewage I think which was fine tbh. The rooms are small but we made do and hardly in the room with how good the hotel was. The access at the back was great and plenty lovely places to eat there too. We stayed in block 2 6th floor pool view so had a lovely view at night of all the lights and fireworks when Spain won the World Cup. We loved this hotel so much we booked to come back next July on this stay. Can’t wait to come back and counting down the days! Should mention there is an option to upgrade to gold once at the hotel which is good as it included higher end drinks; ice creams and I believe crisps for the kids which we will definitely do! Overall I hope my review cleared things up for people who thought negatively! Sunbed wars also didn’t happen when we were there, I was up most mornings around 8am and had plenty choice. Kids area always had beds too. Roll on summer 2027 for another amazing family holiday!
Just arrived back from a 7night break with 6 adults and 5 children (5years-9years), I can only praise this place.
Location is 10/10 - The back gate leads to shops, bars and the seafront in approx.. 2mins by foot. 10mins walk into Magaluf, bus stop outside the hotel for Palma or a nice stroll across the beach front.
Atmosphere is 10/10 - The staff from all areas are friendly and welcoming, they always have a smile and keep a good vibe going, even in 37degree heat.
Rooms is 9/10 - We were in a group of 3 families and the reason for the loss of 1 mark is purely because 2/3 families had extremely large rooms and one family had a smaller room which would feel small if you spent your whole holiday in the room.
Our room was an extremely spacious room (207 in Sol 2), double bed, large sofa bed, wardrobe, chest draws, x2 TVs, large walk in shower and our balcony looked directly at the stage where you could easily watch the entertainment if you didn’t feel like venturing down for the evening.
The rooms are cleaned daily but for whatever reason your missed just pop to reception and they get it done immediately.
Value is 10/10 - The hotel is reasonably priced and delivers much higher than a 3*+ across the board, especially the quality in entertainment from 10am-10:30pm (Specifically the evening 9:30pm shows).
*** Pools / Sunbeds *** Yes, people get up early to secure specific areas around the pools but you can always secure somewhere to lay the towels and jump in the pool.
If your looking to get that perfect location to get the most sun all day then you will have to make the effort to get up, but if your just looking for a spot to lay the towels and have a few minutes break from time to time you won’t have an issue.
Smaller pool close to the stage hosts most of the games e.g. water polo, water basket etc..
Large main pool hosts a variety of activities e.g. water carpets, spin class in the water (Yes they get the exercise bikes in the water), aerobics etc.. This pool does get busy but it’s manageable as long as you aren’t anti children having fun.
Kids pool I would recommend is a must to try if you’ve got children from 0-8max, it’s brilliant for the little ones to splash around with and cool down. There is always deck chairs around this pool to lay a towel on or relax while watching the children in the water.
Cleanliness is 10/10 - The cup system is brilliant, no food to be taken out of the restaurants also brilliant. The staff bleach and jet wash all the outside areas daily before and after the pools open and close. The pools open and close approx.. 9:45am - 6:30pm
Food is 10/10 for a 3*+ inclusive - Unfortunately some reviews on here are slating the food and drinks because of petty things, this is not a 5* resort so remember that.
There is something for everyone, the fresh fruit, cakes and special dishes are great. There is a lot of choice, everyday for the 7nights we could have ate something different if we wished. Food quality is good and it’s constantly being replenished.
If you are fussy then the choice outside the hotel is lovely, we used Barmuda Beach Restaurant on the last night and I would highly recommend.
If you get peckish on the evening or missed last calls on the late night snacks (10pm-11pm) just outside the back gate to the left there’s a takeaway (Hollywood) that do great kebabs, pizzas, chips etc.. the latest we visited was 12am but I think they stay open much later.
Drinks at the bars are good, simple cocktails (Remember you’re not in a luxury restaurant so don’t expect an pina colada to come out in a coconut with an umbrella etc..) and lots of choice of spirits are available.
Overall a fantastic holiday for all 3 families with kids ranging in age. There’s something for everyone and I’d 100% recommend visiting the Katmandu Park (10min walk) great for the whole family but book through a rep on site (Any rep) as they get you a ticket that gives you VIP unlimited access which you can’t get from the park directly.
Would definitely recommend and we will definitely return in the near future.
