Having stayed in Palmanova before, but never at this hotel, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!
The hotel is smaller than many of the others in the area, but we actually really liked that. It never felt overly busy and had a lovely calm, relaxing atmosphere. The whole hotel is very aesthetically pleasing – definitely Instagram vibes! Everything was clean, modern and felt very soothing.
📍 Location
The location is perfect – literally right on the beach, with a beach bar directly in front of the hotel. You can’t really ask for much more if you’re coming for a relaxing beach break.
The sunsets from the beach are beautiful too. 🌅
🏊♀️ Pools & Rooftop
The pool above reception is probably one of the most unique features of the hotel and looks gorgeous. Just worth knowing that it’s very shallow – only around knee-deep – so it isn’t really a swimming pool. However, it’s absolutely perfect for sitting in and cooling down in the heat.
There is another, smaller pool which is full depth if you actually want to swim.
Neither pool is huge, but for us they were absolutely fine and had everything we needed.
We were initially a little confused by the “rooftop” area as it’s actually on Level 1 rather than on the roof! That said, it still overlooks the beach and is a lovely place to relax.
There were also no sunbed wars, which was a big plus! By around 9am some beds had been taken, but there were still plenty available, and we found you could comfortably get one up until around 10am.
The pool bar does fantastic cocktails as well as “Roof Bites” for lunch, and you can charge everything to your room – you just need to sign for it.
🛏️ Rooms
Our room was clean, comfortable and had really good air conditioning, which was definitely appreciated in the heat! We kept the key card in the slot and the cleaners left it there, meaning the air con stayed on during the day and the room was lovely and cool when we came back.
The only slightly strange part of the room layout was having the sink in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom. It felt a little odd having to use the toilet and then walk back through the bedroom to wash your hands. There also wasn't a mirror in the bathroom. Not a major complaint at all, just something worth mentioning!
There was also only one small towel rail on the balcony, so there wasn't really anywhere to hang two towels plus wet swimwear to dry overnight.
The balconies are quite small, but still lovely to have and we enjoyed sitting out there.
🍹 Morocco Bar
The Morocco Bar is lovely, although another thing that confused us slightly was it being referred to as a rooftop bar when it’s actually at ground/pavement level.
It is now open to people who aren't staying at the hotel, so it isn't exclusively for hotel guests/adults. This changed just before our holiday which was a bummer, but actually I didn't see a single child in there!
We were given a complimentary welcome drink when we arrived, which was a really lovely touch and very much appreciated.
🧖♀️ Relax Room
We booked the Relax Room for an hour, which includes the sauna and what the hotel calls the hot pool – essentially like a jacuzzi.
Unfortunately, they forgot to switch the hot pool & sauna on until towards the end of our hour, so we didn't get the chance to use it . Although considering it was around 35°C outside, perhaps that wasn't such a bad thing! 😂
⭐ Staff & Service
All of the staff we came across were really friendly, welcoming and efficient.
Reception in particular were brilliant. We asked for some extra pillows and they sorted them for us really quickly. Nothing seemed like too much trouble.
The Wi-Fi was also good throughout our stay.
💶 Deposits & Tourist Tax
For anyone wondering about the little extras:
- Safe hire: €5 deposit
- Pool/beach towels: €10 deposit per towel
- All deposits were returned at checkout
- Tourist tax for two people staying three nights was approximately €19 in total
❤️ Overall
We absolutely loved our stay. It's a beautiful, clean and calming little hotel in a fantastic beachfront location.
There are a few quirks – the unusual bathroom/sink layout, small balconies and the pools perhaps not being what you expect from the photos – but none of these things would put us off staying again.
If you want a huge resort with enormous pools and lots going on, this probably isn't that kind of hotel. But if you're looking for somewhere smaller, stylish, relaxed and a little bougie, right on the beach in Palmanova, it's perfect.

Gem of a hotel
Beautiful location , right by the beach and all the amenities nearby too. Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. The staff are wonderful and so helpful too. The food is plentiful and well cooked with lots of choice and show cooking. We stayed for 8 nights and what a little gem of a hotel it is. The rooms have everything you need including a kettle , coffee machine and fridge .We couldn’t fault it .

Great!
I'm very fussy with my holidays but our stay here was great! Hotel was lovely, great location and the staff were fantastic. Room was small but immaculate and had everything we needed. The coffee machine and water were an added bonus. Surrounded by great restaurants and shops we had everything we needed right on our doorstep. The quick journey from the airport in a taxi made this the ideal short getaway we needed and we will definitely return..( this is the first time I've ever said this 😂)
Fantastic long weekend stay
This was a marvelous experience. The service is exceptional, the staff absolutely make this place a fabulous experience. Honestly, in this day and age this is becoming a rare quality. My wife and I have stayed in a lot of hotels and can say with confidence that this place is special

A lovely family break
Location: Fabulous! Not the prettiest part of Mallorca, but we travelled with teenagers so it was a perfect base. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, with a busy beach just across the road. 🌴
Atmosphere: Calm and quiet, perhaps a little too quiet for the first couple of days! A few noisier groups arrived on day three, which actually made it feel a bit livelier. Quite a few families with older/teenage children, which suited us perfectly.
Rooms: We probably had some of the most basic rooms on the third floor — twin/double, no sea view — but they were absolutely fine. Spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy. The bedroom sink was a little unusual, but not an issue, and the toilet had a proper private door. BBC and ITV were available on the TV, and the air con was spot on. ❄️
Value: It was August, so everything was ridiculously expensive! We paid around £2,600 for four people for four nights, including flights and transfers. Food and drinks at the hotel seemed roughly the same price as elsewhere.
Food: We only had breakfast and, unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment. We normally love a hotel breakfast, but we actually skipped it twice. The choice wasn’t huge and the chilled items, particularly fruit and juice, weren’t very cold. The omelette station looked good though, and the coffee was lovely! ☕️
Staff: Absolutely lovely — every single member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful and welcoming. 💕
Pool area: Plenty of loungers, with a choice of comfy mattress-style beds or more traditional loungers. Both pools were quite small and not really big or deep enough for swimming, but they were lovely for cooling off. 🏊♂️
Would we go back? Yes, probably! But I wouldn’t go expecting a true 4*+ experience. I think the fantastic location definitely inflates both the price and the star rating. That said, for a holiday with teenagers, the location was pretty much perfect and we’d happily return.
