We love it here, this hotelnis spotless the staff work really hard to make sure everyone is happy. The guest were all friendly we recommend & will return. The staff in the restaurant work hard to keep tables clean & food refilled. Football was on when we were here 19th July the atmosphere was amazing & we dont even like football! The only downside to Magaluf is the pavements being uneven & the massive kerbs you have to step off.

Great hotel staff amazing rooms dated but clean been meny times bit noisy with groups of young men but is magaluff only gripe when checking in alotted Room not ready till 3 but pay 20 euro check in early why not give rooms available at check in already paid over £2000 to stay
Awful!
Awful experience.
I have stayed in two other Melia hotels previously and had a great experience, this one doesn't even compare. It calls itself 4 star hotel, absolutely no where near. More like a 2 star!
Let's start with the positives, really good kids club, pretty decent location and a large pool.
Now the negatives.
A lot of the issues is it markets itself as a family hotel. This it was not!! I went with two young children and we had to download an app to put on white noise in the room to get a wink of sleep. Loud music, shouting off balconies, singing, chanting. Every single night until the early hours. I tried ringing reception a few time but no answer, so it was unchecked! Now I do not fundamentally have an issue with this, we are all young once and want a good time. But this markets itself as a family hotel, not an 18-30 hotel, which is what it basically is!
Then it comes to breakfast, we sit down on our first day to be abruptly told "You can't sit there". It turns out the majority of the prime tables in the restaurant are reserved for disabled guests. Again no issue with this apart from the fact there were no disabled guests staying in the hotel and so they sat empty the whole time while the restaurant was full to bursting.
Next the food, if you could call it that, absolutely terrible, even the bits I liked got removed and not replaced as days went on.
Then I went to get a towel from reception to be abruptly told 30 Euros deposit. I said no problem please charge my card. Again I was abruptly told, cash only! I specifically do not want cash on me abroad so was forced to use the room towels. The hotel ironically brands itself as cashless too!
Then the room, it was clean to be fair but that is it! 3 beds crammed in, tiles with gaps in the floor, tv literally hanging off the wall which barely worked...
Finally, I went to the bar to ask for a cup with ice so I could give the kids a drink in the room. Again, I was abruptly told, no ice, no glasses, they are for the pool.
At this point I had enough, I refused to communicate in any way with anyone else and just went to the Spar directly outside the hotel for the rest of my stay.
Avoid!

Great hotel, lovely barman called Aziz. We felt very welcomed and looked after there. Great value for money as well !!!
Wouldn’t book again
The hotel itself is clean and nice excellent location to the beach, bars and clubs however the rooms let it down they were basic, very damaged and slightly unclean. There was 1 paper thin pillow each. couldn’t walk around the room without shoes or feet would be dirty, damage on the walls and awful decor plus if your on a lower floor the view is a large concrete roof. The breakfast was lovely good quality food and large selection only thing letting this hotel down is the rooms. WiFi was not worth using and the pool was also a little dirty
