This hotel is wonderfully situated in Magalluf, a famous tourist destination on the south west coast of the island. The closest local beach is approximately 250 m from the hotel and the hotel offers sea views or mountain views from most rooms. Within the area, guests will be able to find a variety of shopping and entertainment facilities. This is a perfect place for young groups of friends who wish to spend a lively holiday in one of the most vibrant nightlife areas in Mallorca.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
So me and my friend both stayed for 3 days over the weekend and overall we did have a fairly average experience. It is a good hotel with easy access to everything (clubs, beach, shops etc) which obviously makes it a major hotspot. The rooms were nice; not exactly outstanding but they did the job. The pool area was nice to sit around doing the day with a good atmosphere and you never struggled to get a sun bed. No issues in relation to cleanliness, the housekeepers were very attentive. The noise level is about what you would expect for a mixed group hotel and we had no major issues at all in this element. In terms of value for money I would say it’s good but then again for several reasons I would also not stay here again. On night 2/3 we received an apparent noise complaint which was extremely unusual and took us by surprise considering that we had literally just got back and we were not even that loud by any means? Just simple talking with some laughing. Also ironic really considering some rooms near us were in fact louder yet seemed to get no reprimand as it carrier on. The check in and check out process was easy with no major issues, apart from when we went to check out. As we had a late evening flight our plan was to sit around by the pool all day and leave our luggage in the luggage room. Anyways fast forward we just got sent over to the luggage room and were told to open it ourselves and whilst the key was in the door we did struggle with it ourselves, we both tried to and ultimately could not open it. I went back over to security/check in desk to ask for some assistance in which both men looked at me as if I was stupid? In the end, the security man, Andrei I believe, came over and was very rude and patronising about the whole thing saying it was ‘very simple’ - it was in fact not and it was a very unneeded comment. Therefore I mean if you are looking for a chill place to just stay for a couple of nights for literally just the element of the ‘room’ this is the place for you, other than that if you are expecting outstanding service and facilities this really is not the place for you.
Terrible experience. I paid for my stay, was forced to leave early, and the hotel has ignored all of my emails requesting a refund. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable treatment of a paying guest. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.
I would not recommend this hotel - some extremely unprofessional staff at reception and manager level We confirmed our room requirements in writing before arrival and the Hotel acknowledged these. However they were ignored entirely. My 18-year-old daughter arrived to find no pool view (as booked) - just a view of the solar panels on the roof ( pool only visible if you put your head out of the window and crane it 90 degrees), maintenance workers in the room when we arrived, and her room on a completely different floor to all of her friends — despite being the only person in her group to have confirmed room details in advance. When she went to reception to ask for this to be rectified, the staff were so unhelpful and unkind that she was reduced to tears. She is 18 years old and travelling without her parents. When my husband and I called to assist, I was responded to extremely unprofessionally and then the receptionist hung up on my husband when he asked to speak to the manager. A formal written complaint has been sent and so far not responded to. The manager has refused to engage and will not speak to me or respond to our email. The situation remains unresolved. The room issue was bad enough. The conduct of the staff towards a young woman on her own has been worse. I am 53 years old and have never felt compelled to leave a complaint review anywhere in my life. That tells you everything you need to know about how badly this has been handled - mostly particluarly how the staff responded to a young woman.
Perfect in every way, breakfast amazing, comfy beds, everything you need bar a kettle, however a vending machine is by the lift. Looking forward to another visit in the future
Please be aware before booking this hotel!!!
My daughter and her three friends arrived at around 2am to check in for a holiday they had each paid over £1,000 for through EasyJet Holidays. This was their first holiday after leaving school, my daughter is 18 and her friends are currently 17 (turning 18 soon). Their booking stated that at least one passenger had to be over 18, which was met. They also had email confirmation from the hotel confirming that as long as one passenger was 18 they would be accepted in seperate rooms.
When they arrived at 2am to check in they were told they could not stay here as 2 of them should be 18, the security/reception guy made comments that there was “no way” he would allow his own 17-year-old daughter to come to Magaluf and said they should find somewhere else to stay or get a flight home. After calling his manager, they were told they could stay for one night only and would need to find somewhere else the next day.
The next day the reception phoned the girls room, told them to pack and leave, my daughter went to reception and tried to explain the situation and show the email confirmation. She explained that they had checked in advance and had been told this arrangement would be accepted. According to my daughter, the receptionist repeatedly dismissed them and said words to the effect of “I don’t want to see the email. It won't change anything.” My daughter asked again to please read the email because the hotel had confirmed this would be okay. When she eventually looked at it, she was told the response was effectively, “Oh well, it’s a mistake. You’re not staying here.”
This is not an adults-only hotel and children are allowed at the property, which makes the situation even more confusing given the information provided before travel.
The girls were made to check out and potentially being left stranded in Magaluf while parents back home tried to resolve the issue with EasyJet Holidays. My daughter then asked reception if they could contact an easy jet rep and ask them to come to the hotel and help which they were just told 'NO'
Regardless of hotel policy, the lack of empathy, communication and support shown to a group of young travellers in an unfamiliar country at 2am was unacceptable and extremely upsetting.
Very disappointing stressful experience and I would not recommend this hotel based on how this situation was handled.
