This family friendly relaxed hotel is a nine-minute walk from Palma beach and 7-minute drive from Palma Aquarium, set at 10 km from the airport. The local waterpark is just moments away from the hotel. it is just 15 minutes by car from the capital of Majorca Palma, which is known for its music, bars, and clubs. The hotel offers comfortable and spacious rooms featuring a private balcony or terrace plus other convenient amenities including air conditioning, TV and full bathroom. There are two swimming pools within the complex, with additional two pools designed for children and families. Guests will love chilling out with complete sauna, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, and relaxation terrace while in the evening there are live shows and other family-friendly entertainment.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
No complaints from me , entertainment was great so was the food , also can’t fault the room for the price , Defintely recommend!!!
AzuLine Hotel Bahamas & Bahamas II El Arenal
So we spent 3 nights at the Bahamas, we flew out with EasyJet Holidays. Price was just over £700 all inclusive Inc transfers (it was the first week of UK school holidays). Prior to arriving we contacted the hotel asking for a ground floor room due to mobility issues. The hotel noted this and delivered perfectly a room next to reception (Thank you so much much appreciated). Check-in on arrival did take much longer than expected due to there being several other people being in front of us and only only member of staff in the desk. The hotel is definitely a 3 star Spanish hotel. But it must be said the communal areas are spotlessly clean and fine. The room we had was H101 in the main hotel. It was exactly as described in the brochure. The furniture a little dated but usable. The beds big and comfortable with lovely sheets. The TV was excellent and had more than the usual amount of channels (not that we watched TV for more than about 5 minutes) The towels in the bathroom, good quality and again spotless. The bathroom was clean with the odd little defect but nothing worth grumbling about. There was big bottles of complimentary Tea shower gel and 2in1 shampoo. The air-conditioning worked very well in the room although it is not exactly modern. We were more than happy with the room at this price point. The dinning room is smaller than needed and really needs a remap to make it work better. This causes big queues and people running around like crazy ants. The breakfast was excellent quality (I've had much worse at 5 star hotels). We didn't go to lunch at all over the 3 days so can't comment about lunch. Evening meals were themed and it was very successful (again the dinning room is chaotic and this really began to annoy after 3 nights). However the food quality at this hotel was very good overall. Drink in the dinning room are self service, beer, wines, soft drinks, water, tea and coffee. My biggest gripe about the drink is the very small glasses. The staff at the hotel were really nice (my Spanish is pretty good so maybe because I took the effort to speak their language that helped, but I heard them speaking English and German too (guests were mainly German, Polish and English. The hotels animation team work very hard and the main lady was absolutely adorable and entertained tirelessly (absolute asset to the hotel) We had one afternoon at the pool before departure. It is very clear that it's too small for the amount of customers. Not enough sunbeds and few parasols. Please note the pool is very deep at one end (3 metres) and it slopes to deep quickly. The poolside bar very busy and queuing always. (Really hard working staff especially Richard and Maria) The snack bar worked well you have to place you order at the main bar and then take a ticket to the snack bar where the staff prepare hotdogs, chips, burgers, pizza and nachos. Ice creams are available and are really lovely Cornetto and Magnum types and more. We stayed during the Calima heatwave so the temperature was 39° (with a feels like of 45°and humidity of upto 80%) very hot and sticky indeed for Majorca. The hotels location at the top of a steep hill did make walking from the beach taxing in such condition. We hired a mobility scooter for my wife from mobilitymallorca.com I can recommend them totally. Amazing service, excellent price and the information they gave us we belong expectations. So would we go back to the Bahamas? No .. the main reasons would be the constant queuing for drinks, food and the chaos of the dinning room layout. Other than that we had a lovely very hot holiday in S'Arenal (it is a mainly German resort) Thanks Bahamas Team your hotel is nice and with with a few tweaks it could be so much better ...
Lovely hotel good food clean rooms and the kids entertainer was excellent so good with the kids beautiful person inside out highly recommend this hotel
We have just returned from a five-night stay here. This was our second visit, as our first experience was fairly positive. Unfortunately, this stay was a real disappointment.
We were allocated a room in the Bahamas II section. The room was small, and the balcony was practically unusable. Although it had two chairs and a table, there simply wasn't enough space to sit comfortably.
The food was another let-down. It was often cold and bland, and we even found mouldy cheese at the salad bar, which we reported to a member of staff.
We rarely ate in the restaurant because, if you were lucky enough to find a free table, you usually had to clear and set it yourself while several members of staff stood chatting nearby.
The queues at the bars were excessive. The pool bar regularly had waits of 10–15 minutes, while the evening bar could take 20 minutes or more. When you finally reached the bar, you were often met by rude, unhelpful staff who made you feel as though you were inconveniencing them. On more than one occasion, a bartender tried to reuse a dirty glass and seemed annoyed when I asked for a clean one. The only positive exception was one member of staff, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch. She went above and beyond and agreed that guests should always be given a fresh glass. It's not as though there was a shortage, especially as guests are expected to return their own glasses.
The pool areas also need attention. There were nowhere near enough sunbeds, and in the Bahamas II section one of the parasols looked as though it had been attacked by a tiger—it was badly damaged and should have been replaced. The pools themselves also looked grubby and in need of a thorough clean. To make matters worse, the ladies' toilet by the pool had no hand soap in the dispenser for the entire duration of our stay. Thankfully, I had brought my own.
Overall, this visit was a huge disappointment compared to our first stay. Sadly, based on this experience, we would not return.
Poor hotel really poor rooms, staff were shocking, room got flooded it was run down, paint missing off walls shower hanging off, door handles loose, beds not made towels not replaced, staff very rude, change the rules mid week, all inclusive but you had to order food get tokens for glasses, just an absolute shocking hotel and if this is 3 star it makes Blackpool look like the Caribbean, I wouldn’t entertain it at all which is a shame as 10 minute walk you have a beautiful beach and sea with lovely bars
