The THB Gran Playa is situated in Can Picafort, in the north of Majorca. This centrally-located hotel is surrounded by a wide choice of restaurants, shops and bars. An unbeatable location within walking distance of the beach, a mere 50 metres away.
The THB Gran Playa is an adults only hotel offering a calm, relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect holiday choice for couples or groups of friends.
Facilities at the hotel include a buffet restaurant, lounge bar with terrace, attractive landscaped grounds with a swimming pool, sun beds and umbrellas as well as a sun terrace in the upper area.
Admission to the wellness zone overlooking the sea is free of charge. The amenities include a hot tub, sauna, Turkish bath and fitness equipment. Massages and treatments are available at an extra charge.
The hotel's outdoor ‘Poker' bar is the perfect venue for relaxing over a delicious cocktail and taking in the fabulous atmosphere for which Can Picafort is renowned.The recently renovated and redecorated rooms are all of an exceptional standard. Excellent choice of hotel
Currently on last day here at THB Playa. This is a really lovely hotel. Exceptionally clean, food good, staff friendly. Lovely sized pool, very quiet. No sun bed wars whatsoever. If you are looking for peaceful relaxation in an adults only hotel, in excellent location, then do not hesitate to look any further. High praise from us for this chic hotel. In addition, there were a lot of solo travellers here and I would feel safe and looked after if staying in my own.

The best place to be
This was a 10 day second visit to the Hotel this year, excellent location, short distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc.
I was allocated the same room in October as I had in June, very spacious, double bed, fridge, kettle, bath and shower safe and AC, Decor is light airy, modern with an outside balcony table and 2 chairs small pull out washing line. the only thing missing was for me was the sun/late sun on the balcony but I think the room with the sun are at the front of the hotel.
I stayed bed and breakfast, the breakfast was amazing, an abundance of hot and cold continental choices, omelette's, bacon, fried eggs and pancakes are cooked fresh in front of you on request. Plenty of fruit, pastries, breads, yogurts, coffees and juices to chose from. I did have 3 evening meals paying 16 euros extra, again the choice was excellent plenty to chose from, with additional two fish/ two meats choices are cooked in front of you on request.
Cleanliness was excellent in all areas of the reception, restaurant, bar and pool areas.
I can't speak highly enough on the service, all staff were amazing on both visits and go above and beyond in every detail, at breakfast and evening meals food was constantly monitored and replenished before it ran out completely. The staff work tirelessly to ensure your needs are met.
A massive thank you to all the staff from me for all the hard work and for making my holiday memories "just perfect" I now consider the Hotel as my "happy holiday home".

THB Gran Playa
Said at the THB Gran Playa for two weeks. Ideal location for beach, restaurants, shops. Spotlessly clean with very pleasant staff. Great entertainment 3 nights a week. We decided not to do inclusive as like eating out. However did eat in the restaurant twice. First time excellent beef stew! Second time not to my taste but thats personal to me. On the Downside is the swimming pool. I could see from the photos it was not a big pool but i considered it dated and in need of some TLC - eg broken tiles. Not good if you have mobility issues as I do with an injured foot/leg. To get into pool was either by ladders or down a tiled slope with a bar to hang on to. Also very limited space to walk round this area. Didn't spend much time here because of these issues. But went on beach which was lovely - sunbed 21 euros a day for two.

Clean but not for us
Although the hotel is clean and quiet- we as a couple were not totally overly impressed this hotel .. Milk supplied for cereals at breakfast during our stay warm never cold .. a couple of the jams were so runny .. plates cold unless we lifted up over a dozen to find some warm - The lack of sugar sachets in our room .. at times none were ever replenished..including Loo roll.
The pool was clean and inviting including the surrounding area was kept extremely clean and attractive looking.
And yes noise level was extremely low..
Leo was and Ana were first class in the dinning area.
But sadly we will not return.. as both of weren’t keen on this area of Majorcia. ..
Perfect Stay!
Lovely hotel, great location close to shops and restaurants also just a short walk to the beach. We stayed for 6 nights with breakfast included, fantastic choice of continental and cooked items, particularly liked the fresh omelettes made to order. Fresh towels everyday including towels for sun bed use. The bar area and snack shack provided light lunches, again good quality food served by very pleasant staff. Pool area was relaxed and peaceful with plenty of beds available. Our room was well presented with air con which was a welcome relief after spending the day in the heat. Although we were close to everything there was no noise or disturbance so we enjoyed plenty of peaceful sleeps. Would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to hopefully visiting again 😊
