This hotel is one of the worst hotel i have ever stayed in here for a week with my wife for our anniversary wish i hadn't bothered the food is awful the staff are rude and the rooms are a poor standard

The hotel itself was lovely and in a fantastic location. Unfortunately, the staff and the level of service were very disappointing.

On our second day, we ordered food from the pool bar. My salad arrived within around 30 minutes, but after another 15 minutes the second meal still hadn’t arrived. I asked five different members of staff whether the sandwich was definitely coming, and each time I was assured that it was “on its way.” After waiting a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes, the sandwich still hadn’t arrived.

I went to reception, and the manager came out to the pool bar. Instead of looking into the issue, the staff argued with me, claiming we didn’t have an order ticket. We weren’t given a ticket for the salad either, and neither were the other families ordering around us. The staff continued to argue and then told me the kitchen had closed, despite the fact that it was open when we placed the order and we had been told multiple times that the food was on its way.

The manager then said the tuna sandwich would be brought out. Instead, we were given a cold ham and cheese sandwich with cold chips, even though the sandwiches were supposed to be toasted.

When I pointed out that the order was incorrect, the manager laughed and told us to just have the sandwich.

Had the staff simply admitted that our order had been missed and apologised, it wouldn’t have been a major issue. Mistakes happen. However, no one seemed interested in checking what had gone wrong or providing good customer service. Instead, we were met with arguments and a complete lack of care.

The whole experience made us feel uncomfortable around the staff for the rest of our stay, which really took away from what could have been a fantastic holiday.

It’s such a shame because the hotel itself is beautiful, but unfortunately the poor attitude and service from the staff completely let it down for us.

I stayed here with my husband for a week at the end of June. It is a lovely hotel with a great location. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beach with some lovely little bars and restaurants and a short walk to the harbour. This was lovely in the evenings, especially. Our room was lovely, it seemed newly refurbished. It’s open plan so you can see the shower cubicle from the door, but there’s a sliding door to the toilet. The shower was very powerful and Aircon was very good. The only negative about the room is that there is very little storage. There are no drawers which is a shame as there is plenty of space. We stayed half board- The food was lovely, breakfast had a great choice and also evening meal plenty to choose from. Just a bit disappointed that we had to pay for a drink with your evening meal, even water and soft drinks were not free . It would’ve been nice even if the water was free. There was a great choice for lunch you can pay for very reasonable a choice of pizza, salad sandwiches, etc. The pool area was lovely and we always managed to get a sunbed even if we went down to the pool after 10 am. A bit disappointing that the pool did not open till 10 am as would’ve liked to use it earlierand the pool closed at 6 pm. There is one bar which is the same bar for inside and outside it was a little shortstaffed at times. There was some entertainment in the bar in the evening but it always seemed very quiet. I think a lot of people must’ve gone out to other bars restaurants in the evening. The Aircon in the bar area was not very good and often far too hot, so couldn’t sit in there for very long and the bar often closed by 11. The Aircon seem to work everywhere else okay though. I would recommend this hotel to anyone , perhaps not children as not much to do for them. It was also a very short drive from the airport which was great and never heard any planes. Overall, it was a lovely holiday.
