Excellent hotel apart from ongoing building work at adjacent hotel.
Firstly, an excellent adults only hotel to stay in normally, we returned here to find it had been refurbished recently and looked clean and contemporary. All staff were helpful and a special mention to Joanna at the restaurant who charmed everyone. She was one of the staff who took the time to interact with guests, making them feel comfortable and welcome whilst she did her job efficiently. A really good ambassador for the hotel, keep it up Joanna. Also Miguel another character who made us welcome. We stayed a week half board and the selection and quality of the food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. The room had air-conditioning and was clean with a partial view of the beach from the balcony. We were supplied with a kettle on request free of charge to make tea in our room. There's free WiFi and free safe to use in the room. Now the slight downside, the hotel adjacent to ours is under renovation and there is constant building noise from 8am till 6pm. It was never mentioned on the website we booked through ,if it had been, we would have considered other hotels. The double glazing helps but didn't block it entirely, we were out most days but if you came back to rest it was noisy. The hotel is right on the beach esplanade 20m from the pristine clean beach. It has its own rooftop solarium with jacuzzi, with great views over the bay, especially at sunset. There's no shade up on the roof but understandably as it can get breezy and parasols would blow way. There's a lovely balcony at the front on the ground floor overlooking the beach, to sit and people watch whilst having your breakfast or a drink later. The hotel is 10 mins from the airport ,about €17 by taxi or €5 pp bus, the A2bus (normal bus to Palma A25/A35 is only €2 pp), you can hire bikes locally and from hotel, the roads have cycle paths so very safe. It takes about 1hr 40 to walk into centre of Palma and is worth doing, visit inside the cathedral and then sit in Passeig del Born at a cafe listening to local buskers over a wine, sangria or coffee. We took a tourist train trip to El Arenal further along the bay but I wouldn't recommend it as its full of stags and hen parties but very lively if you like that. Overall I highly recommend this hotel but contact them first to see if building work is still ongoing. It looked like it would be for some time.
Lovely hotel, highly recommend
Just returned from 4 nights stay. What a lovely hotel! It’s impressively clean, everywhere and smells lovely. Staff are really great, very welcoming and helpful! Our room was a good size with comfy bed and nice modern bathroom, again very clean! Breakfast was great with a very good selection and always so fresh and constantly replenished. Roof top solarium was great I would 100% stay at this hotel again! Really enjoyed it
We absolutely loved this hotel
We actually couldn’t believe it’s only a 3 star hotel, as it far exceeded our experience at a lot of 4 star hotels we’ve stayed in, and I’m very fussy!
Lovely rooms, great food and the terrace at the front is wonderful. You can even have your breakfast out there. Beautiful seafront location.
The views from the rooftop are amazing.
You can get the bus into Palma a couple of streets back from the hotel, 5 minutes walk. You will be in Palma in 10 minutes on the express bus and around 25 on the slower bus.
Can Pastilla is an ideal base for combining a beach and city break plus it’s an unbelievable 5 minutes in a taxi from the airport.

It was perfect for me
Fabulous hotel for a few nights stay on a last minute trip to Palma de Mallorca. It was exactly what I needed with regards to location: close to the sea, close to the center, not close enough to be noisy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel and room were clean and always fresh. Good breakfast.
Mobility disaster!
Hotel staff were so helpful. The room was on the small side, and the bathroom was tiny, but the shower was powerful and very refreshing. I have used a mobility scooter for about ten years on holiday and hired one from Mobility Mallorca. I had problems when using the hotel ramp on the first day. The hire company was not very helpful at all when I rang them. They called the ramp Everest and blamed the steep angle for the problems I was having. In this case the hotel reception staff were so helpful in phoning the hire company to explain the issue; the hire company blamed everything bu the scooter and left me two days without changing the scooter. If I ever return to Majorcia again I will never hire from Mobiliity Mallorca again big, big red mark for terrible customer service.
