This attractive hotel is located in Can Pastilla, just a few steps from the seemingly endless sandy beach of the Playa de Palma. It has an amazing proximity to the airport being just a few minutes away by car and the centre of Palma is about 10 minutes away. Numerous restaurants, bars, cafés and shops are in the surrounding area. Guests will have the time of their lives in this wonderful complex where they can rest by the side of the outdoor pool while sipping from a margarita or having a refreshing swim. They can also visit the restaurant to enjoy delicious and healthy meals along with an agreeable atmosphere or they can go to the bar to have a couple of drinks. Travellers will love visiting the spa sine there they can relax and forget about the stress. The comfortable rooms are decorated with light colours and touches of vibrant and vivid ones. They are perfectly equipped with all the essential amenities to have the best and most unforgettable experience.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I stayed at JS Palma Stay for 4 nights as a solo traveller and honestly had such a lovely, relaxing break.
Check-in was quick and easy. One tip – bring a credit card, as you can use it to charge drinks and purchases back to your room, which is really handy.
I booked a single room with a balcony and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. The small double bed was so comfortable – genuinely one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve ever had on holiday! The bathroom was compact and the shower could have done with a little more pressure, but it did the job perfectly well. I was on the 5th floor and even had a sea view from my balcony, which was a lovely bonus. There’s a fridge and kettle in the room too!
The location is excellent. Within a couple of minutes’ walk you’re on the beautiful Can Pastilla seafront, which is perfect for a morning stroll or an evening walk along the promenade.
I stayed half board and it was incredible value for money. The food was some of the nicest I’ve had at a hotel, with plenty of choice every day. Every single member of staff I met was friendly, welcoming and worked incredibly hard to keep everything running smoothly.
The pool area is fantastic. The water was lovely and warm and, let’s be honest, the swim-up bar was one of the reasons I booked the hotel! It’s open from 11am until 6pm and serves reasonably priced drinks. The atmosphere around the pool is nice and relaxed rather than loud or lively, which suited me perfectly.
The only slight downside was that there aren’t quite enough sunbeds, so getting one can be a little challenging on busy days. However, the lifeguard keeps an eye on things and removes towels from unattended beds, which I actually thought was fair. (Just don’t expect to use inflatables if he’s on duty! 😄)
Overall, this is a really solid hotel that’s clean, comfortable, safe and in a fantastic location. I honestly couldn’t find much to fault, and with the quality of the food, friendly staff and reasonable drink prices, I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Palma.
I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to return!
it’s a great location close to shops bars & the beachfront it’s a very relaxed & friendly atmosphere the rooms although a little on the small side are spotlessly clean & have everything in you need - (they do need to put cups & spoons in for the kettle though ) it wasn’t cheap but i felt it was worth the money i paid its a nice quiet hotel even when pretty full service was 1st class - all reception staff were friendly & helpful & looked after me
Lovely hotel in a beautiful part of Majorca. Five minutes walk from the beach and seafront. Hotel staff are very friendly and food was amazing (stayed half board). Only a few minutes drive from the airport made it more appealing.
Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for our first 10 day holiday together. We had the most amazing time. Every single staff member we spoke to was polite, friendly, and made our experience even better. The food was incredible and above our expectations, the fresh fish and meat that were cooked by the chef every night were gorgeous, and the fresh omelettes on a morning were so lovely I had one every day. The location is spot on, with fantastic bars and restaurants less than a 10 minute walk away.
I knew there would be some bad reviews following the power cut we experienced, so I wanted to share a positive one. I feel the staff did everything they could. It wasn’t their fault the power went out, and they were just as uncomfortable as we were which I think many people forgot, as it was a region wide outage. We were given bottles of water, and apologised to profusely. Yes it was annoying that we were given false estimated times of it coming back on, but the staff were only going on what they were told by the electric company. I didn’t think it was fair at all that the staff were being shouted and screamed at by guests for something completely out of their control, one of the staff members ended up crying as a result of the confrontation. One member of staff even did a 24 hour shift without going home or sleeping to try and help the guests - that screams going above and beyond to me. Me and my boyfriend went to the beach for both of the days it was off, and made the most of a bad situation - as did many guests.
We did have to be down by the pool by 8am latest to get a sunbed, but this was to be expected when you go on holiday in peak July. The noise from the airport didn’t bother us one bit, the hotel isn’t on the actual flight path so the noise wasn’t anywhere near as bad as I expected when looking at the location.
All in all an amazing trip, and highly recommended. Thank you so much to the staff for hosting us so well.
The recent negative reviews regarding the power cut should not be taken seriously. This is something that is completely out of the staff’s control, and they did their very best to help and accommodate every single guest, even those kicking up a fuss.
The area is brilliant and within walking distance of the beach, a host of shops, bars and restaurants. We booked half board, and had dinner at the hotel more than we actually planned originally because the quality of options was superb.
There is a bit of a rush to get sunbeds in the morning, although the lifeguard did make an effort to remove those which had been reserved and then abandoned in the mornings.
The room was more than adequate, cleaned daily and in the time the aircon was working it was very powerful.
Entertainment was available some evenings which created a nice atmosphere, with staff more than happy to assist with drinks as soon as ours finished.
We had a lovely stay at JS Palma and thank the staff for all their hard work, especially in a testing 36 hours without power.
