We enjoyed it, but……
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was very clean and tidy, the rooms very comfortable and the food excellent and the pool lovely but there were a couple of things that for us, let it down.
We were half board and at breakfast the drinks choices were many and as you’d expect free. Champagne was available, many fruit juices, tea, coffee and other hot beverages from a machine and water from machines with a choice of sparkling and still. But at Dinner, for some reason, access to the water machines weren’t available and access to them blocked and if you wanted water with Dinner you had to buy it at €3.50 euros for a small bottle. I found this infuriating.
We also paid a bit extra for the My Favourite Club access and it was a really nice thing to have. You get a Bali Bed outside your room, reserved seating in the Dining room, access to a rooftop pool area with nice views but we only went up there once. The ‘pool’ is very small and the space not huge.
You also get access to the My Favourite Club lounge area with snacks (pizza squares and sandwiches, fruit, cakes as well as a hot beverage machine, water and soft drinks). At 4.30 pm till 6pm they do a nice thing where they put out 3 bottles of Cava but in a few occasions the Cava wasn’t put out and I had to go ask at the bar for it which was a bit embarrassing and made me look desperate for it. On one occasion it got a bit warm in the the room and we took our glasses of Cava to the outside seating area and were told off by a member of the bar staff, in front of other guests, that we weren’t permitted out if the My Favourite Club room with our drinks. It put a bit of dampener on our evening.
Fabulous stay!!!
Fabulous stay at AluaSoul Palma. Short ten minute taxi ride from Palma airport. Relaxed atmosphere felt when entering the hotel, greeted by staff and offered water whilst checking in. Our room was located on the third floor with pool and sea views. Excellent standard of cleanliness, Maids would come in each day to clean, you are given the option of sheets and /or towels being changed. Pool and poolside areas were also kept to an immaculately high standard of cleanliness, Every morning staff were inspecting the pool and cleaning all hand rails, sun lounges and poolside areas. Breakfast was always good, Great choice of continental or cooked breakfast. Location of AlouSoul is excellent for walks around Can Pastillia and great for accessing the bus routes. It costs €2 to get to the capital Palma. Staff were all friendly and helpful with any requests. Special mention to David at reception 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂! Overall, my daughter and I had the most amazing relaxing stress free stay here at the AlouaSoul. Thanks to all the wonderful staff for making our stay so special. ( Eclipse glasses and info was a welcoming surprise ! ) Look forward to seeing you again.

Friendly, relaxed, welcoming staff. Amazing location, 12 mins from the airport, right on the beach. Beautiful well maintained hotel, nice pool. We were in Mallorca for the eclipse and just had one night, but the hotel made it all easy

Lovely stay
Lovely hotel. Clean modern and welcoming. Close to the airport but not in an intrusive way. Great location by the sea. Great breakfast and dinner selection, catering for all. Room was nice, with all the amenities you could want, large balcony space, we had a sea and pool view. Range of entertainment through the week- but again not intrusive, from aqua aerobics to paella making. Evening singers added to the atmosphere. Bars and restaurants and long stretch of beach very close by. Highly recommend.
2nd vist to this hotel
Our 2nd vist to this hotel, I was excited to stay in a sea pool view room because of the view and privacy. I was deflated to be allocated room 201. On the 2nd floor next to 2 lifts and you only had a view if you stood up and was over looked by over 10 balconies it was not very nice and should not be classed as sea view pool view its a view of everything and everyone. I was re roomed immediately to 308 which ticked all the boxes I paid for. Restaurant in the evening, the food was fabulous and the staff were professional. Breakfast was well prepared and well managed. Receptionist was fabulous. The pool was warm and inviting after a day out to Palma. We went out every night to the local bars so did not use the bar at night. On our last night we decided to have a drink in the bar, we sat at a table that needed a good wipe, we like the table the bar was in so waved to be served no one came to serve us, so we went to the bar and ordered a drink and asked for the table to be clean, the vibes I got was that I should not have been asking that and it seem an inconvenience. I ordered a caliso coffee. The coffee came with out a biscult and the coffee was half filled with the rest of the glass filled with cream, not what im use to, I felt that I could not complain about this due to me asking them to clean the table and I felt lack of service at this time. Im glad I used the bars outside the hotel because aervicd there was spot on and they smiled at us
