Very disappointed with this visit to hotel which is third time in four years.

My third visit in four years and we only go for the view and comfortable chairs, however I am currently at the hotel and asked this morning for the blinds on the balcony to be closed as it is currently sunny and very hot. I was told there is rain due later on this afternoon which is due around 16.00 and they would not close the blinds as they might blow away when the bad weather arrives in 6 hours time. I am very disappointed with there efforts and there is currently no one on the balcony as it is far to hot to be comfortable. Most people are sitting inside. Very disappointed and will not visit again.

Amazing holiday 5**

I am so sorry to read the negative reviews of this hotel. We probably missed the main summer holidays peak and therefore had less trouble with the sunbeds (which were always reserved by guests putting their towels and belongings down before 8am) but surely that says more about the guests, than the hotel. We certainly NEVER did that and generally always found beds. The food was fresh and varied there was something available all day. The rooms and parts of the hotel do need a touch up but were secure and had lovely views. We don't mind taking the stairs sometimes if the lifts were busy, but generally we had no problems.

We were so impressed with all the staff we encountered. The animations/ entertainment team were incredible. Bar and restaurant staff friendly and efficient. We really had a magical time and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

A nice hotel for a short stay!

Myself and my mum spent 5 nights at this hotel 1st-6th sept 2026.

Location - has pros and cons - the views are absolutely stunning, we had a double sea view room and the view for sunrise was beautiful. We looked over Cala Antena beach also which was lovely - the beach is only a 5 minute walk away but with some pretty steep steps down onto for any one with accessibility needs. The area around the hotel is pretty secluded and not much to do, a couple of bars and restaurants. A mini golf and kids inflatable park. 45 minute bus into Cala d’or which we did one day.

Rooms- were nice and clean. A welcome bottle of water, fridge, plenty of hangers, full length mirror. Strong pressured shower. The only downside for my mum was no tea/coffee making facilities. Very spacious balcony.

Food and drink - we found breakfast had a great variety as well as lunch, however dinner was very ‘samey’ and not many main dishes. There were a few themed nights whilst we were there which we didn’t really understand. The Italian night had one area with cheese and meats (which there was normally anyway), the Mexican night had a cheese fountain, taco shells but no meats to go with these items? The fish at mealtimes was fresh and delicious. The desserts could be better. You have to pour your own wine if you want any which at other all inclusive I’ve stayed at was done for you upon arrival. The waiting staff are very efficient at collecting dishes. The cocktails are made in an all in one machine which I’ve never seen before, they are very sickening - as someone who loves cocktails I didn’t drink many at all. The bar staff are very efficient and friendly. Snack bar food was the same everyday sandwiches and biscuits, one day there was burgers and hot dogs. one major issue is the snack bar food is not covered and I witnessed numerous flies, wasps and ants crawling all over the food before people ate it.

Sunbeds - I read a lot of reviews about fights over sunbeds but we didn’t struggle once in 5 days to get beds, we were down most days for about 9.30am but on one day we went to the beach and back to hotel for 12 and still got beds.

Lifts - these were generally a nightmare. Especially as we were on the 10th floor. We walked down a good few occasions as we gave up waiting on them. There are 3 active lifts. And they are scary! As someone already anxious about lifts they are noisy and bouncy and do not fill you with confidence at all. It was a relief to make it the 5 days without getting trapped.

Check out - as we were not being collected until 2pm, our bands were cut off at check out at 12pm - we have never encountered this at other all inclusive hotels and was very disappointing. We were quoted €25 each to have lunch on check out day which absolutely would not be worth it. Also the shower room which you have to book in for has no locks on the showers, when we arrived at our time slot there was a male in the wash area and a woman in the shower - this was very awkward.

Entertainment - I left this part to last as this was really the most memorable part of our holiday! The entertainment team are the best I’ve encountered. They work tirelessly all day with such a positive energy, their energy actually gives the guests energy. I’ve never seen so many guests join in aqua dance/aerobics, there was all good vibes and no judgement in this area. The night shows were genuinely something you would pay to go watch, the entertainment team put so much work into these I genuinely don’t know where they find the energy as they’re on the go with activities from 10am-10pm. Wilson is a great team leader and all of the team are super kind and friendly.

Overall I would definitely return here for a chilled holiday.

Don’t be put off by the bad reviews — we had a fabulous stay!

Don’t be put off by the bad reviews — we had a fabulous stay!

I have to admit, I was really sceptical after reading some of the negative reviews, but I honestly couldn’t disagree more. We have had a fabulous time at this hotel and would definitely recommend it.

We were greeted with a lovely glass of bubbly on arrival, and our room was ready at 12 noon, which was fantastic as check-in wasn’t officially until 3pm.

We had booked a “My Favourite Club Suite” and were given a tour of all the areas we could access with our special VIP wristbands. It was such a lovely start to our stay and made us feel very welcome.

When we arrived at our suite (#1002), we were incredibly impressed — it was huge! It had everything you could need, including robes and slippers, a coffee machine, complimentary toiletries, a free-to-use safe and pool towels. There was even a personalised card welcoming us, which was a lovely touch.

The fridge was stocked with complimentary soft drinks, beer, wine and water, which was a real bonus. The view from the balcony was incredible. We were on the 10th floor overlooking the sea and pool, with the mountains in the distance. The sunsets were particularly beautiful.

Our room was cleaned meticulously every day and the air conditioning was excellent — absolutely no complaints. On our final day we received another lovely card and a little treat, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The only slight disappointment was that we couldn’t have a late checkout, which would normally have been available to suite guests. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, so we had to check out at 12 noon rather than 2pm. Completely understandable, but it would have been lovely to have those extra couple of hours.

My Favourite Club

One of our VIP privileges was access to the My Favourite Club lounge, which we used every day. You could help yourself to drinks from the fridge, coffee, wine and bubbles, as well as lots of little snacks. The terrace had beautiful views and the seating was really comfortable. It was a lovely, peaceful place to escape to when you wanted a bit of quiet.

For us, the best part of the VIP package was the private sunbed area. It was so much quieter than the main pool and had incredible views. There were sunbeds, sofas and comfortable chairs, so you could relax however you wanted.

The main pool could be quite crowded and noisy, whereas this area was wonderfully tranquil and, for us, really made the holiday. We never had to worry about reserving a sunbed — there always seemed to be plenty available.

Food & drinks

The food was fine rather than outstanding, but we always found something we enjoyed at each mealtime. We didn’t really use the snack bar, although there was always something available if you wanted it.

The all-inclusive drinks are mainly local branded spirits, but they were perfectly fine for us. Around the pool you are given tokens for a reusable cup, which is replaced whenever you get another drink. I thought this was a great idea — it reduces disposable plastic and also stops the pool area becoming covered in abandoned cups. In the evenings, proper glasses are provided.

The Mokka Café is the only venue that isn’t included in the all-inclusive package, but we really enjoyed it. Our VIP package included a voucher for coffee and cake, which was delicious. We went back the following day for a crepe, which was fantastic and only €4. We were also able to take our all-inclusive drinks with us, so it was a very inexpensive treat!

Entertainment & spa

The entertainment was probably the weakest part for us. It was quite loud and, personally, we preferred sitting on the terrace of the My Favourite Club lounge, where it was lovely and peaceful. That said, it’s great that the hotel offers entertainment for those who want it.

We also took advantage of a great couples’ massage deal — €78 for 25 minutes for two people. We chose to have ours outside under the pergola overlooking the sea. The setting was idyllic, with lovely chilled music and a really relaxing massage. I would definitely recommend it!

The beach & location

The beach is a bit of a trek, but we absolutely loved the little cove just a few minutes’ walk away. Be warned, it is very steep, but it was well worth the effort.

We spent time swimming and snorkelling there and were amazed by the variety of fish we saw. The views of the water, cliffs and little coves are absolutely stunning. The hotel is in a really beautiful location.

Overall

All in all, don’t be put off by the negative reviews. I’m quite a fussy traveller and, in my opinion, this is a very good Spanish 4-star hotel with recently refurbished facilities.

We had a genuinely lovely stay and would happily return. If you’re considering booking, I wouldn’t hesitate. And if your budget allows, I would definitely recommend upgrading to a My Favourite Club Suite — the extra space, private sunbeds and lounge access really made our stay special.

Thank you to all the staff for making our stay such a lovely one. We’d definitely recommend this hotel!

Great break overall - some improvements needed

There are many positives to this hotel and I had a nice break with my family (2 children age 8 and 10) However, the hotel needs attention. We only had a 5 day stay so some of the negatives would have been more difficult to live with if our stay was longer...

Here are my summaries:

Positives - Lovely pools and great daytime entertainment Fantastic views out to sea Lovely bar next to reception with delicious sangria Kind, helpful staff Paddleboard hire - you can book this using the QR code on the advertising board and it is easy and a fun thing to do. The sea was very choppy when we hired it though so there wasn't much standing up going on! Sunbed access was fine even though some reviewers had issues with this - we managed to get sunbeds without reserving at 5am. Got to the pool around 9.15 each day and had no problems. Sunrise - beautiful sunrise out to sea, definitely worth getting up for.

Negatives - Food - unfortunately the food choices were repetitive. Breakfast was good, my husband liked the omelette station and the choices suited us all. However, lunch left a lot to be desired.... each lunchtime served burgers, hot dogs and chicken kebabs. Some more variation was needed. Freshly cooked food wasn't available and we would have liked to see fish and chicken at lunch as well as dinner. Dinner was a bit better and the themed evenings are a good idea. Overall, food was disappointing. Although we did enjoy the baguettes at the snack bar. The all inclusive wristband being removed at 12pm - this doesn't seem fair. We ended up paying to keep the room on which included keeping our bands so this was good but we would have been disappointed at losing the 12pm bands. Shower struggled to drain - this was raised and an attempt to fix it was made but it was still an issue.
