DISCOVER THE EAST COAST OF MALLORCA Enjoy a wonderful holiday overlooking the sea in the idyllic Calas de Mallorca resort. Located on the top of cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and near beautiful white sandy beaches with crystal-clear waters. The Sol Mirador de Calas is located on coastal cliffs overlooking the sea in the east of the beautiful island of Mallorca, between the pretty beaches of Cala Domingos and Cala Antena. It is the perfect option for enjoying a holiday on Mallorca.
The hotel is highly recommended for adults, and provides spacious rooms with a fresh, modern design equipped with everything you need for the perfect stay. The Sol Mirador de Calas has a spectacular swimming pool and sun terrace area overlooking the sea; a revamped buffet restaurant and a new In&Out Bar.
All inclusive is crap you have to pay for most drinks. Food is awful no effort what so ever pizza and chips all day everyday I would avoid at all costs you end up spending so much as hardly anything is apart of your all inclusive not even an iced coffee
Breath taking views, relaxing atmosphere, rooms were perfect and clean. Noise level to us was just right, entertainment pool and also a quieter pool. All staff were helpful. Wilson and daniella really stood out to us. We are gutted to have missed the lion King performance as we left the day before to come home. We will definitely be back. Alua Casa cha cha cha!!
I had stayed at this hotel twice before as a child, so returning with my own son made the trip even more special.
The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location. Our room was spotless, and I really appreciated that my request for a lower floor was accommodated. We were given a room on the second floor, which was perfect and still had a lovely view.
The only downside is that you do need to get up early to secure a sunbed. However, the hotel manages this well—if you’re not using your sunbed by 10:15am after the pool opens at 10am, the lifeguards place a notice on it, giving you 15 minutes to return before the towels are removed. This helps prevent people from reserving beds all day without using them.
The entertainment team were absolutely brilliant and worked incredibly hard. My only criticism is that there isn’t enough aimed at older children. My son is 9 years old, so he wasn’t interested in the mini disco and was too old for the mini club. He also wanted to join the water polo but was told it was for adults only. It would be great if the hotel could introduce more activities for children in that age group, such as a kids’ water polo session or other age-appropriate games.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and created some lovely family memories. I would happily return and would definitely recommend this hotel.
Second time visiting this hotel and we enjoyed our stay again. Since we last came the hotel had been renovated which has given it a fresh clean look. We upgraded to the My Favourites Club which is totally worth it! Great value for money, you get a large room looking onto the sea, access to a VIP lounge which has snacks and drinks you can help itself to. You also get a free safe and vouchers for a free coffee and cake at the new cafe Moka and Mar which was delicious!
Food was good there were always options for us. Sometimes the food was only warm not piping hot however I’m not sure if this is an abroad thing as we have found this at other hotels too so it didn’t bother us. The food was thoroughly cooked so we felt fine eating it.
Entertainment was good and they have a sports bar showing the football etc so this kept the partners happy whilst we were away!
Just some personal preferences for improvement. Firstly there needs to be a shower mat in the shower. It’s extremely slippy in there and with me being pregnant I was super cautious about falling.
The major thing which sort of ruined things for me was the smoking. There are A LOT of smokers at this hotel and it seems they are allowed to smoke anywhere they want. With me being a non-smoker and pregnant this was a real issue for me. I feel this should be a non-smoking hotel with designated smoking area’s away from the general public using the hotel. There were only non-smoking signs by the snack bar but nobody seemed to pay attention to these and staff were not telling people to not smoke so when you were eating this was extremely unpleasant. Further to this lots of people were smoking at their sunbeds, at the entrainment and by the sports bar and on the terraces at night. For me this was a real issue as I had to keep moving away as smoke is harmful to me and my baby. In other hotels we have visited on the island they are very strict with smoking and have smoking area’s and certain sunbed locations where people can smoke and I feel this needs to be introduced at this hotel. It doesn’t help that people can easily have access to plastic ashtrays from behind the bar and can take them anywhere they want.
I would love to come back to this hotel with my baby and family as we do love it here. It’s just a shame about the smoking and this would stop me from returning. However if this gets sorted then we will definitely be back.
Views beautyfull, but its all. Poll was clean. crockroak on -1, boring brekfast, fated dinners. I dont reccomend this hotel
