We had a lovely stay, the water parks were brilliant, the restaurant staff was always so helpful when needed to get the high chair and wiping it down clean every time, kids club staff were lovely, the park is brilliant when needed a break from the pool.. Free hotel Beach transfer to the most beautiful little beach we had a lovely time here :)
We are currently on holiday in the hotel. First thoughts lots to do, a very lovely hotel. The restaurant is all inclusive buffet style and so far the food is good, the drinks are pour your own and generally a few stations so never very busy which has been good. The rooms are a complete let down for this hotel and are def not 4 star. We have a child in a wheelchair with complex needs. The room is far too small to accommodate a wheelchair. The disabled shower floods and he has fallen multiple times on the floor. We have to put the wheelchair on the balcony to allow us enough room to work with him when he had a seizure,, there is insufficient storage space or shelves. He needs a lot of medication and it is hard to organis on the little space. I have asked for a bigger room but Bern declined. I was told we could upgrade but then told there was one available. The room itself needs repaired and updated as shown in the pictures, even just a drop of bleach in the toilet. It's honestly the worst disabled access room we have ever been in and it's really put a bad feeling with us as the information was protracted beforehand. The outside areas and things to do save this resort for us as the rest of the kids can enjoy the facilities. Def though the rooms let this resort down and we've been in other room as we have friends here too and none are of a good standard that you expect of a 4* hotel.
Just back from an amazing holiday with the family, age ranging from 4 to 54. Overall the hotel is fantastic and the staff are so kind and accommodating. We all received a phone call from the guest experience manager on day 2 checking in with us that everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. Also advised to contact her if we needed anything. We really appreciated that and havr never experienced that in any other hotel anywhere in the world. Everywhere is very clean. Rooms are nice too. Great entertainment programme with a variety of things to suit most people. The entertainment staff are absolutely fantastic, they definitely make your holiday experience better!! I would recommend the hotel to anyone with young kids, you have everything there that you need for a holiday. The only thing that let's it down is the food choices, there isn't much for kids or adults that are fussy eaters. The snack bar options were better for fussy eaters than the meals in the restaurant. 1 thing that was really disappointing, we arranged with Ricardo that the waiters would decorate for my nephews birthday and they supplied a chocolate cake for 20€. After they brought out the cake we were leaving and taking it with us as we all had eaten too much at dinnertime. 1 of the waiters Mohammed yous us we had to pay 60€ and was adamant we couldn't leave until my sister paid this, other waiters were crowding round her, as if to intimidate her. I then approached them, all the waiters with the British flag on the name badges were laughing and wouldnt speak with me. The others were stating the language barrier. Muhammed then drew the numbers on the table "6" and "0". I asked them to bring Ricardo over and they kept telling me no. I went myself and got Ricardo and told him of what was happening and he addressed the situation. The waiters all told him that Mohammed told us it was 16€ and we didn't understand properly with the language barrier. Making us out to be liars. I was absolutely furious. Ricardo was amazing and apologised several times. Unfortunately some poor bugger would maybe have paid that 60€ and not stuck to their ground and refused it. Every time we were in the restaurant after that evening, none of the male waiters could make eye contact with any of us. They were clearly out to con money out of us!! Please be aware and don't fall victim to they dodgy waiters!
Family of 8 from Ireland, two one bed apartments and one double room, all in Ibiza block. Perfect block, central to everything. Rooms were all suitable for our needs. Couple of issues with one apartment that was sorted straight away. Could the rooms do with upgrading....possibly but if your not a nit picker then they are perfect. Nothing that could do with upgrading affected our stay. Cleaned daily also unless we hit the do not disturb button. Cleaning staff are brilliant.
Food.....no one went hungry and we got to try food we never had before, some we liked, some we didn't, they choice was great, snack bar was excellent. The slushies were a god send in the heat.
Bar....wish there was a choice of one or two bottled beer, i dont like the draft beer here and cocktails were too sweet when you had a few. I did try a gluten free beer but it was sam magel aswell! The spirit selection was great.
Entertainment.... kids disco was perfect for kids, adult entertainment was very hit and miss. Some nights i really enjoyed it, others it was very underwhelming. But thats personal choice.
Pools & waterpark.... could not rate these any higher, they are fantastic, well maintained, well supervised and lots of fun.
Staff... friendly and approachable, 10/10. Cleaning staff excellent. Every morning we seen the pools being cleaned.
Outside the hotel.... perfect for what we wanted...we wanted a quiet and relaxed holiday, we were here for 10 nights and left the hotel on 3 of those nights just for change of scenery. As you leave the hotel take a right and 5 minutes down the street you have 2 small supermarkets, a pub and small kids arcade. Also lovely photo opportunities with the Calas de Mallorca sign. Turn right at this section and walk for another 5 or so minutes and you have a huge square full of pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, tattoo parlours, kids entertainment etc. I expected it to be much smaller than it was. There are also doctors surgery and pharmacy there (which we needed with one of the kids). We ate in The Travellers Inn, Restaurant Mallorca and The Steakhouse. Highly recommend the Steakhouse. Travellers inn has Michael Jackson tribute act on Friday nights, their sister pub, The New Inn has him on Monday nights. Both nights were absolutely brilliant and well worth it. If you are going to The New Inn, sit in front of the stage, the sound anywhere else isn't great.
We loved our trip and would have no hesitation returning or recommending HYB Eurocalas
