just returned from a 7 night break and where do i start staff very rude not very helpful the splash pool closed for a day just to paint surely this should be done out of season especially with the amount of children there food not the best and drinks by snack bar were not very cold and area covered in bees especially by slush machines cleaner in snack bar very rude looking you up and down see if you are wet and tell you are not allowed to go in when everyone obviously is going to be slightly wet because they have been in pool, i agree you shouldn’t go in barefoot has this can be dangerous, cleaners who do rooms up never replaced tea cups after being used daily so had to re use safe to say we won’t be returning

Family of 8, 6 adults 2 children. Location: not to far from shops but if you want to explore the city it is a bit far to travel with children on a bus just over an hour. Lovely beaches around the area and still plenty of days out that are very local for example the glass bottom boat and the caves of drach which are easily accessible by local bus outside of hotel it works out much cheaper to book tickets online and catch the bus instead of booking through holiday rep. Atmosphere: we visited during the World Cup and the atmosphere was great. A few things to do around the hotel during the day such as water polo and the water carpet and aqua aerobics other than that we were not made aware of other activities however they were advertised on the boards in the reception area. The rooms are cleaned daily if you leave the notice on. We had no issues with the room space, and it was nice to sit out on the balcony in the evenings. The restaurant is too small for the amount of people the hotel holds, it can get very loud in there and the food can be very repetitive however there was always something everyone liked, breakfast was by far the best meal of the day. Each evening is a different theme such as Chinese, Greek, local, even these themed nights seem to provide 3 or 4 dishes different to the usual nights with all of the other food staying the same (chips, pizza, pasta, salad, cold meats)! The pools are fantastic and having multiple pools and splash parks on there ground is definately needed, they are cleaned daily and were warm. Sunbeds were very hit and miss, if you want 3 or more together you need to go and put towels on before you go to breakfast. The service provided from the staff is ok, I feel like they could have been a bit more friendly/happy but probably due to the size of the hotel and the amount of people they don’t get an opportunity to show much interest in h hi holiday makers. Evening entertainment was good when people came in from outside of the hotel however evenings that it was staff entertaining was not as good with very standard entertainment (men v women, quiz, karaoke) evening entertainment finished at a reasonable time. Overall I would say you get what you pay for, for what we payed I wouldn’t have expected a 5* hotel, it was perfect for the children.
