This property is 13 minutes walk from the beach. Situated in Calas de Mallorca, 350 m from Cala Antena Beach, this all-inclusive family-friendly hotel offers 3 outdoor pools, including one for kids with water slides, as well as an outdoor terrace with deckchairs and parasols. International dishes are served in the complex's buffet restaurant. Snacks, drinks and ice-creams are available from the bar. There is also a wide range of activities for all ages at the complex.
We have just stayed here in Ibiza block. Room was basic and well used, curtain ripped and poor quality damaged laminate flooring. The room was quite small as well.
Unfortunately we had some black worms (possibly larvae) alive in the bathroom. This was reported numerous times to reception whose response was very slow and poor, sending the housekeepers in 6 Hours later and failed to resolve the problem. We eventually complained to jet2 and hotel management who seemed to struggle to solve a pest issue. The manager did not even apologise initially instead just stating that she hadn’t seen any issues, despite the videos and pictures I have that I will post here.
I have no issue with pest issues - but the hotel response was very disappointing, slow and disinterested.
The splash parks are great for kids, there’s so many different pools to choose from for everyone’s desires. Unfortunately 4 of the splash park features at the pirate area did not work the whole visit. I asked a staff member about this who just said ‘they’re broken, sorry’. This was one of the main reasons we stayed here was for the splash park features.
The snack bar is basic with burgers, hot dogs, chips, ice cream and a few other things but lots of flies and wasps around. I feel more should be done to prevent this. The drinks machine outside is ridiculous with wasps on it. My kids were afraid to even get a drink as they all swarm around when you get a drink.
The kids club was a joke. I took my kids in and the staff ignored them as we stood there awkwardly not knowing what activities there were. One staff member Ana, was even scrolling on her phone instead of welcoming and engaging with the children. We eventually just left.
The park area is really good. It has everything kids could want and feel very safe.
The games arcade looks really nice and a couple games are really good but every game either seemed to take my money or not work properly, for example the car driving game just steered to the right no matter what and the claw machine didn’t move after putting money in.
The restaurant can get extremely busy and become a nightmare. You have to get a table so far away from where the food is and then fight your way through the people to get any food. I’m not sure if it’s air conditioned but it seemed very hot and we didn’t want to stay there long. Numerous times there were no glasses near the drinks machines either. Food was standard. Always had pizza, chips and salad and some of other things that changed everyday. Desserts were the usual cakes you get from buffets.
There’s good activities on site including the trampolining. The staff member here is so engaging and good with children. Mini electric cars which were fun and mini disco everynight as well as other events like magic shows and karaoke.
The gym is really good. Air conditioned and modern equipment.
Around the area there’s not a great deal, but some great beaches and scenary.
Overall whilst the hotel had some great features and on another day may provide a great experience but for us on this occasion it was a massive let down and really disappointing.
We went here for 4 nights with our 3yr old grand-daughter. A bit of a shock to our system, we’re used to adult only resorts 😂, but had a great time and so did our grand-daughter.
All the negative reviews about noise in the dining room are true but it’s a kids resort so what do you expect? I’d be worrying more if there was silence.
Staff in the dining room are excellent, how they keep up with all the comings and goings should be applauded and not criticised.
Food was good, could find something for everyone to eat every time we were in. Quality was good too. Maybe need more egg stations in the morning but other than that great.
Rooms are basic but do what they say on the tin. Disappointed at no water or juice in the fridge and no coffee or tea although had a kettle and coffee machine.
Another pool area would be excellent but other than that a great place for families with kids.
Would definitely go back with grandkids.
We arrived late at night. Due to delay with flight. Lovely welcome from Isabel in reception and the other lady both very lovely.
Room. Should have paid for an upgrade. Even though it was just 2 of us still a very small room Compared to what we saw on line.
Had the holiday cheap through travel agent. Get what you pay for I suppose.
I’ve done many of all inclusive holiday at lower star hotels than this and had much better services with food snack bars drinks etc.
Food- Awful. Edible but no. Same thing most nights. It’s fine for kids have plenty of chicken nuggets and chips. Salad option was the best beautiful salad but the rest of it. Not so good.
Snack bar- same thing every day. Most snack bars I’ve had in other all inclusive have had much more variety with drinks beer soft drinks and food. Including sandwiches toasties and other items such as yogurts in pots etc. if the food was better and snack bar was nicer you’d have higher ratings.
Pool area is great. Although reserve a sun bed cause all the greedys seem to take the beds then go off for hours on end and return after. In Benidorm they don’t allow people to reserve suns beds. If your not back at your sun bed with in an hour your towels and belongings are taken to reception. Good way to manage the grabbers I suppose. Worked well.
Water. They charge for water when other all inclusive have given small bottles of water included. That I think it’s greed.
Hardly any choice for drinks beers wines cocktails mocktails etc. just get what your given. Drinks are watered down also.
But other than that. We enjoyed our holiday.
Hotel lovely and clean but the food was not good entertainment was okay. There was not to eat for my 11 year old and not much going on outside the hotel
We recently stayed at the HYB Eurocalas for 7 nights, booking two rooms. The rooms were a perfect size and were cleaned thoroughly every day. The pools and the two splash parks were amazing. While the pool water isn't heated, you really don't need it when the weather is 34°C (feeling like 49°C!). Once you are in, the water feels absolutely perfect. A quick tip for parents regarding the two water areas: the pirate-themed splash park is built directly into a standard pool. The slides here are smaller, and while children can easily see when the person before them has finished, there is no lifeguard managing the slide queues. On the other hand, the newer "Aqualandia" area is different—each water slide has its own dedicated landing zone. Lifeguards are everywhere here and are highly vigilant, telling the children exactly when it is safe to go. Just be aware that the Aqualandia floor has some exposed corners near the slide exits and the bottom of the steps, so we highly recommend bringing water shoes. The kids' club and animation team were super friendly and smiling all day long, organising great activities for all ages. The kids' club is completely stress-free; you can either drop your children off or stay with them. Ours particularly loved the ball pit! There is also a lovely, sandy park area at the kids' club which we took full advantage of during the cooler parts of the day. Location-wise, the hotel is about an hour's drive from Palma Airport. There are plenty of handy tourist shops just around the corner. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to Domingos Beach. It runs at specific times and the driver will do a couple of trips each slot, so just make sure you are down there on time if you want to use it.I had read some reviews complaining about the noise, but please remember this is a family entertainment hotel. The music around the main pool is lively but certainly no louder than a beach club, and it features well-known pop and dance tracks during activities, switching to pleasant Spanish songs around lunchtime. We didn't find it to be an issue at all. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment, the mini disco is not the same every night and it's not compulsory to go to. The evening entertainment is good, some nights didn't appeal to the kids so we didn't stay longer than the mini disco. As many others have mentioned, there are wasps—particularly around the bar and drinks areas. However, if you do what the bar staff do and just let them be, you won't have any issues. I personally hate wasps, but once you accept that they are just looking for sugar and will leave you alone if you don't swat at them, it won't ruin your holiday. If you expect to sit by a pool with sweet drinks and not see a single wasp, you are mistaken—it's no different to a hot summer's day in England! Plus, as soon as the sun goes down around 9pm (during the mini disco), the wasps disappear. We only saw one person get stung during our entire week. Food wise, they have themes each night in the restaurant, however there is always Margarita pizza, chips and plain pasta for fussy eaters, like our kids! There are plenty of dessert options, but these aren't always labelled correctly or at all. There was an ice cream machine where you can add icecream to anything you like! The restaurant is big, plenty of seating inside, a nice space outside too. Water tap, beer tap, wine taps, soft drinks, juice machines and coffee machines available. The snack bar served nuggets, chips, hotdogs, burgers and a vegetarian option, cold meats and cheese, with an ice cream machine for dessert. There were a small selection of biscuits and cupcakes in there too. Again, a beer tap, water tap, slushie machines (outside), soft drinks dispensers available here. The staff clean the area constantly and make sure that tables are cleared ready for the next wave of snackers and they constantly top up the food.
Overall, a brilliant family holiday and we would definitely recommend it!
