We stayed the last week of August 2026 and can honestly say it was a fantastic holiday. The entertainment team there of Audrey, Marinne, sidu and Jeremie (apologies if got names wrong) were just amazing. They got everyone involved if they wanted to do so and were just really lovely people. They made our kids feel really included and us as adults in everything that was going on. Hotel was great for what we needed. We stayed in the premiere section with a sea view and although we didn’t use the premiere facilities as much (due to kids loving the main pool and activities too much) we were glad we did. The rooms were really tidy, clean, air con worked great and food was ok. The fresh pizzas were awesome! Audrey in particular gets a special mention as she was always so happy and friendly and put everything into what activity she was doing. Thanks guys for making our holiday (first in 8 years) so memorable. From Gemma, Kerri, Marlie and Stanley!
I booked this all inclusive hotel through love holidays based on the photos of the infinity pools. On our first day we went into the reserved area but later found out it was for premium customers only. We were never given the option of premium and the fact it's all inclusive I would expect everything to be included. However, as we had our 14 yr old disabled daughter with us who's also autistic and doesn't do noise, we explained that she couldn't do the steps to get to the adult only pools and it was unfair to subject her to having to tolerate the kids/main pool, especially when that morning our room was swarming with ants including on and in our beds and on us and pillows. I had to ask the cleaner for bug spray so I could do the entire room. inThe reception guy (name begining with D and African) was fabulous. He wrote everything down and left it for his morning colleagues who upgraded us to premium. I explained the room was fine and wasn't wanting to take up a premium room just wanted a cess to the infinity pools that were quiet. The upgrade was very gratefully received with many thanks. The pool areas and reception and bars were all lovely and clean, all staff friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely, although not very warm. The salad choice and food choice was fabulous and always had plenty of choice. There is always fresh pizza being cooked from scratch and 2 pasta selections each lunch and dinner. There was no queues. The desserts were very repetitive and a bit boring. There was different themes like Spanish, mexican and Chinese etc. The cleaners were all lovely and pleasant too. Rooms were cleaned daily unless you asked them not to. They were very clean except under the bed was missed but nothing major. The door handle looked like it was about to drop off but was actually very secure. The premium bar day steward makes the best fresh mojito cocktails. The gorgeous 4 poster loungers were amazing. The pools were all great Temperatures. The children's pool is in a bad state of disrepair with tiles broken and resulting in children cutting themselves. It needs some serious renovation. However, I don't think there is anything I can complain about, except at weekend there is a nightclub right outside the rooms at the front of the hotel and it's open until 5am. Even with ear plugs I could hear it. Some people saw cockroaches but I didn't see any at all except 1 dead one. It is a very relaxing hotel. The beach is 10 mins walk and is beautiful agean blue clear water and it's like a warm bath in temperature. Glirious. We will return. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay wonderful. ❤️
The hotel exceeded our expectations - we paid for the premium room which was great and very spacious with good views. We only used the premium pool once or twice, the bali beds are great but lack shade. There are plenty of sunbeds and seating areas around the main pool, which the kids loved.
We ate out quite a few times, mostly as the adults are vegetarians and the buffet selections do get repetitive for non meat eaters. Breakfast was always good and we had the choice of getting food from the pool bar for lunch and during the afternoons.
The beach is great even though very busy during peak season. The water is crystal clear and warmer than the hotel pool! There is a quicker route than along the coast if you cut through the shopping plaza, halves the amount of walking.
Just arrived back from here today. Mixed review based on a number of things, booking/food/entertainment. Before I go any further the booking we did was via the “Jet 2 website” and it was a kind of last minute decision but not sure if it’s the same for all but the hotel has a standard side and then a premium block! The pictures conveniently used of the 2 small pools looking over the ocean are all part of that premium block that is all fenced off. It’s ok if you want peace as it’s not got the games and atmosphere as the main pool but just double check if that’s what’s grabbed your attention and just look before you book.
We originally thought we were the only British there as it is quite well filled with mainly french and were a little concerned as it’s always nice to meet new people on holiday and bit by bit we got chatting to people by the pool or in the pool and met such lovely fellow Brit’s so just mingle and you will find each other. The French and others nationalities were all actually so friendly and although not so easy to communicate with you get chatting at the bar.
The good bits first. The staff are amazing, like they do not stop and work so hard. They are friendly and always a friendly face and you couldn’t really fault anyone from reception to the housekeeping. The daytime entertainment was always spot on with activities for both in the pool and out. The waterpolo game was a definite highlight. Food had different theme nights, they had plenty of stations and you never really had to wait but unfortunately there is no way it’s 4 star rated food.
The not so good bits… The side of the pool can get extremely slippy, as all pools can be at times but with or without footwear it can catch you out so especially if you have kids then make sure they don’t run.
The main pool itself is a poor condition with tiles missing, patches of repairs done poorly and stick out like a sore thumb.
The food is warm, not hot and the hash browns were not far off frozen still so if you like your food hot then suggest you use the microwave. Personally I’d like to have seen more imagination if they class this a 4 star rather than thaw and serve desserts, maybe do a bbq one night ?
Entertainment was great in the day but whatever they had in mind for the adults part at 9.30 is really poor. Last night was abba themed with 1 woman singing and the other nights just not what you’d expect. But.. the kids part of it all you can’t knock as they really engage with them and thats more important than anything.
Location wise it has so much on its doorstep with shops opposite, nice bar showing the football, kids play area, crazy golf. The beach is 10 minutes away so it’s not short of things to do if you want time away from the hotel.
We chose to come back after 8 years, because we loved it so much last time and wanted to experience this feeling again. Once more Palia Maria Eugenia was as good as we expected, the animation team was full of energy and very friendly and there was constantly something to do thanks to them. The whole hotel staff was welcoming especially Paloma who we knew from the first time we came. She’s always smiling, taking care of the residents and due to her positive manner she helped us feel at home. We would recommend this hotel to anyone
