My boyfriend and I booked this holiday through Loveholidays, and unfortunately our experience did not match the expectations created by the listing. The images used to advertise the hotel primarily featured the VIP rooms and exclusive pool areas, which were a significant factor in our decision to book. However, there was no clear indication that these photographs depicted upgraded VIP facilities. Had this been made clear, we would have considered paying for the upgrade.
Instead, we were allocated a standard room with access only to the main pool, rather than the VIP facilities shown in the advertisement. Given the price we paid, this was disappointing, as the listing created an expectation that was not reflected in the accommodation we received.
To be clear, this is not a criticism of the hotel itself. The hotel is well maintained, the staff are welcoming, and the surrounding area offers plenty to see and do. Our concern is with the way the property was presented on Loveholidays, as we feel the advertising was misleading. We would encourage anyone booking through Loveholidays to carefully verify that the photographs and facilities shown correspond to the room category they are selecting.
Very Comfortable Hotel with nice views from premium room.Delicious and various food. Atmosphere very relaxing, staff so friendly and professional and truly made us feel welcome and at home. I will be back.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)
Overall, we had a good stay at Hotel Palia Maria Eugénia, but a few issues stopped us from giving it a higher rating.
The hotel itself is nice, well maintained and has good facilities. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. The food was good overall, although I think there could be a bit more variety from one day to the next.
One thing that could also be improved is the pool opening hours. It would be much better if the pools opened earlier and stayed open a little later so guests could make the most of them.
The biggest disappointment was the bar service. Some of the bar staff came across as rude and unfriendly, and on several occasions the bars closed well before the advertised closing time. The all-inclusive package was supposed to include drinks until midnight, but by around 11:00 pm we were told the bar was already closed. We even had to pay for drinks because we were told the all-inclusive service had ended. I don’t think that’s fair. If guests pay for an all-inclusive holiday, they should receive the service that was advertised. This was the most frustrating part of our stay and definitely something the hotel should improve.
Finally, I would like to say a special thank you to Paloma. She was always kind, welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. Her attitude and professionalism really made a difference.
The hotel has a lot of potential, but improving the bar service and making sure the advertised opening hours are respected would make the overall experience much better.
Firstly it’s a beautiful hotel, very pleasant atmosphere. Rooms are cleaned daily, and it’s nice inside. Food is average, themes nights were great and still bland. I would say it’s great for kids no older than 8. Spent a week here with my teen and pre teen, too old for the kids club and too young for any activities such as archery. I wouldn’t come back a dm problem wouldn’t recommend to anyone with older children.
We stayed here for seven nights. It was our first time as a family leaving England, with two young children. They loves the pool and the slides rhat come with it, all inclusive was great, san Miguel on tap all day, food was ok what you expect with an all inclusive. Hotel staff nice and friendly, bed sheets cleaned every day, nearby beach was great for snorkelling and sunbathing, wotld definitely return. Great all round
