Ideal Location with good access to a safe beach Well laid out hotel facilities and bedrooms Great entertainment every night Staff were excellent, friendly and efficient
Myself and my mother in law traveled to aluasoul Carolina for a weeks holiday (left our husbands at home) in June. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Yes it is a 2hour transfer from the airport but it was worth it. On arrival to the hotel we had a warm greeting from gentleman on reception and was given a drink, we arrived 15mins before lunch was due to end so he suggested we went and got some lunch whilst he checked us in. Check-in was smoth and paid for our pool towel card. We had been upgraded to a room on the top floor and the view was spectacular, the facilities in the room were perfect, mini bar, kettle and coffee machine. The bathroom and bedroom area was kept spotless and our towels were change each time we indicated we needed new ones, I always take coat hangers when I go away, I needn't have bothered this time as there were loads. The restaurants were great, nice outside eating area where we ate all our meals in the main restaurant, great variety of dishes, you defo would not go hungry with the selection, however would have liked a little more variety off the grilled like different meats, pork seems to be cooked most of the time. However it didn't bother us. The breads were amazing and great to have proper butter, big plus. All restaurant staff and chefs were super friendly and very efficient. The Italian restaurant was amazing, booked it the day before at reception, the guy serving was wonderful and the food was way beyond expectations, the salmon pasta was so delicious, gutted I didn't ask for the recipe as would love to recreate it at home. The bars were great, could be a bit of a queue at pool bar but if you judge tour timing OK its not to bad. Round the pool you pay 1 euro for a token for your glass whichbis great as stops single use plastic and stops people leaving the glasses round the pool area, you get a clean glass each time and love the fact the correct glass for each drink used eg flute for cava. You get your euro back at end of week. Lobby bar was also great and again friendly staff. Pool area was really good and kept clean, loads of loungers, only little down side would be pool is quite small for size of hotel, but not much can be done about this, also would be better if there were toilets by the pool, you have to go up steps or a slop to get to the toilets. Access to the beach from the pool area was great. The location is very quiet and quite residential, which suited us for our relaxing break, however there is a bus and land train 1 min walk from reception that can take you to a busier resort for the day. All in all had a fantastic holiday and would defo recommend to friends and would come again.
Food is very boring, same things every day. Special pool restaurant waste of time, service poor and food not great! Air conditioning is rubbish, centrally controlled at 20° which you cannot change in your room making it too hot to sleep! Vertigo bar is nice but you have to pay extra or join MDT club which costs money. Not enough sunbeds and they're crammed in like sardines! Transfer took 150 minutes! Wouldn't go there again!!
Location , perfect next to a small beach . Hotel was lovely , very peaceful . Room everything we needed. Food , great range .
I had a wonderful stay at AluaSoul Carolina from 27 June to 2 July, after making a last-minute booking. I chose this hotel because of its beautiful location, and it exceeded my expectations.
The hotel is immaculate, and my room was spacious, comfortable and cleaned to a very high standard every day. I particularly loved my balcony overlooking the beautiful cove, and the air conditioning was very welcome during the hot weather.
What really made my stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming. The reception staff were especially helpful throughout my stay. They kindly lent me a beach parasol free of charge, which I used every day, and they also arranged my taxi to the airport for my return journey.
The bar, pool and housekeeping teams all worked incredibly hard while always serving guests with a smile.
A special thank you goes to the restaurant team, particularly Olivia, Elisa, Anya and Genta, as well as the chefs. As a vegan traveller, I was touched by how accommodating everyone was. They took the time to show me which dishes were suitable, ordered vegan cheese especially for me, and even prepared vegan burgers and sausages so that I had plenty of choice throughout my stay. Their kindness and attention made such a difference, and I am truly grateful.
The location is simply stunning. The hotel overlooks a beautiful cove with crystal-clear, warm turquoise water, surrounded by pine trees and rocky cliffs. It was the perfect place to relax, swim and completely switch off. Although the beach is public, it never felt overcrowded, and there are a few shops and cafés within walking distance if needed.
I booked the all-inclusive package, which offered an excellent variety of food and drinks throughout the day. In fact, there was more than enough choice for everyone.
If you're looking for a peaceful holiday focused on relaxation, swimming and beautiful scenery, I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. If you want to explore more of Mallorca, hiring a car or using the local buses would be a good idea, but for me, this was exactly the peaceful escape I was looking for.
I had such a fantastic experience that I would happily return to AluaSoul Carolina, and I will certainly be looking at other hotels in the Alua Hotels & Resorts group for future holidays.
Thank you to everyone for making my first holiday in three years so memorable.
