Hipotels Hipocampo Playa

We have just returned from a very enjoyable two week stay in this lovely hotel. Although we did have a slight issue at the start of the holiday, we were very well looked after, and the hotel went out of its way to make it up to us, which was much appreciated. Our room was very comfortable and quiet at night, so sleeping was never an issue. The breakfasts were great, with a huge and plentiful choice of very high-quality foods available. The pool was very nice and was a refreshing temperature! this was especially nice given how hot it was in Majorca during our stay. We visited the pool side bar frequently and I only have positive things to say about the team who work there tirelessly with a big smile on the face. We do appreciated how well we were looked after! I though the lunches here were great! It does not matter whether you want a sandwich, baguette, pizza or pasta - all the food is great! Our room was looked after by a lovely lady from housekeeping, and is was really nicve to see how talented she is with making figures from towels! These were lovely surprises when e returned to our room after a long hard day by the pool!! :) There are some nice restaurants within short walking distance and of course plenty of shops. This is a resort which does not have an old town - not a big deal for us, but worth noting! Unfortunately I can't upload any images as tripadvisor uploader has an issue.

From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch as the staff met us outside and carried our luggage all the way to our rooms. A big thank you to them for such a warm welcome. The receptionists were incredibly kind and provided us with all the necessary information. ​Our rooms were spacious and very clean, and the view from the window was simply unbeatable. When it comes to dining, both breakfast and dinner buffets offered a huge variety of dishes. There is truly something for everyone. I especially appreciated how relaxed the staff was; since I love having a morning coffee in my room, I went to the kitchen to make one before breakfast officially started. Even though the staff saw me, they didn't mind at all. A special thanks to the cleaning lady who saw me with my hands full and kindly called the elevator for me. ​Regarding the wellness area, the gym has everything you need. While the indoor pool is clean and the water temperature is pleasant, I wish it were a bit larger as it is not really designed for swimming. Also, the water in the jacuzzi should definitely be warmer. ​Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our stay.
