Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, This hotel is on the first row of buildings along the Cala Millor. This Mediterranean-style building is surrounded by the wilderness of the Punta Amer nature reserve. This airy seaside hotel is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and beach. It is also 14 km from the Cueves Del Drach (paths to an underground lake) and 18 km from Cala Agulla beach.
Guests are welcomed at the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour checkout service, guest can also access to a hotel safe for their personal belongings and currency exchange if needed. Hotel has a lift to access guest luggage to the high upper floors. Each rooms features TV with cable channels, mini fridges, and tea and coffee making equipment. Some other rooms offer sea views. The hotel has a buffet restaurant and a relaxed lounge bar on site.
Other hotel amenities include two outdoor pools and a poolside bar, plus an indoor pool with a whirlpool tub. Nightly live entertainment is also provided. Guests will appreciate the Internet access, laundry service is, and younger guests can let off steam in the children's playground.

Very peaceful and restful place
I've had a week at the Talayot and it has been a lovely experience, exactly what I needed, it's a very peaceful hotel. I've slept excellently (I have sleep apnoea, and I've really not slept better for a long time), I should have checked the make of the pillow and mattress before I left. The room was kept brilliantly clean by the staff, with the option to skip a day or two if you wish. The rooms come equipped with a telly, which although can offer around four channels in English, they're all the news, the only entertainment channels are in Spanish/other european languages. You can, however, cast, from your phone/tablet, so I was able to watch anything on the Youtube and also Amazon Prime, I expect other international subscription channels would work too.
The food has been great all week, plenty to choose from all week, a mixture of global cuisine and recognisable favourites. A full english line up at breakfast along with cereals breads fruit and whatnot, a great lunch, a snack period including burgers and pizza etc, and then a full evening meal. I'm not on a restricted diet, and I'm an adventurous eater when I know what I'm having, but the placement of dish titles was a bit hit and miss, I'm sure if one cared, questions would be answered, but I can imagine one could find that tiresome day after day if it were necessary.
I didn't venture into the pools, they didn't look big enough/deep enough for a proper swim, merely a place to cool off between sun sessions. And I didn't use the spa. I had no trouble finding a spot to sit or lie in the sun, when the mood took me. The solarium area on the 1st floor fills up quickly, but spots did seem to become available during the day, and the main area by the outside pool always had plenty of spots, even on Saturday/Sunday. One or two guests played a bit fast and loose with leaving towels and disappearing for a while, but the majority of folk were very good at freeing up loungers when not in use.
I did however make use of the laundry service, which was excellent, good value, and fast, I had a few shirts done, and they were returned within hours. Awesome stuff.
All the staff are working hard, and I rarely had to wait long to order up a drink, or make an enuiry at reception. There are musical turns on four nights a week, during my stay they all seemed to be singers, occasionally accompanied, and sang the similar kinds of stuff, if you like your karaoke bangers, you'll not be disappointed. And I couldn't hear it from my room on the 3rd floor, so when I toddled off for an early night, it was not a disturbance.
There are two things that I think worth noting, and I'm not sure what the solution is, these are observations rather than complaints. The corridors, much like Majorca get quite hot, so it can be a sudden transition from a lovely cool room (I got mine down to 18C, I'm northern). And the lifts seem to operate at random, maybe they'll come quickly, maybe they won't, maybe they'll take you straight to where you want to go, maybe they'll take you on a tour of the floors, maybe the button will light up to let you know the lift is coming, maybe it won't. I think If I'd stayed more than a week, I would have become frustrated at my inability to work out any sense of pattern.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a nice relaxed time.

Avoid! Spend your money somewhere you actually treated.
We are here on our honeymoon currently here now. There is no flights out of here unfortunately. Never been left to feel so uncomfortable by staff. Upon checking in at 3am the man on reception seemed like he didn’t want to be there.Non of them seem to know how to smile or be polite. We paid a lot of money for the king suite and everything in the room costs money even water even tho it’s free downstairs! Bottle of champagne that was included left in warm water on arrival. After ringing reception had to go from floor 7 to reception to get some milk at 4am in the morning.Hot tub stopped working, Cakes that was left in room on arrival are still here 3 days later. Having to pay £3.50 each drink at the bar even tho we paid for all inclusive. Never in my life have I felt so uncomfortable. I just want to go home!! Honeymoon and it’s been terrible.

Anniversary trip
We arrived at the hotel after being dropped off by the coach at end of road. Receptionist was very helpful. First impression was a clean and modern hotel. We had a double seaview room with fabulous views. The room was spacious with a comfortable king size bed. Nice balcony. We stayed all inclusive and you present your room card. Friendly bar staff in both bars. Pools are cold water. Plenty of sun loungers. Negative - safe should be free in room not charged per day. Meals - a bit limited in choice and need more choices in sweets/puddings. We had an early flight and asked for a breakfast to go as missed breakfast. Very disappointed in a bag with 2 x water, 2 bananas and 2 x sandwiches. ( selection of pastries and 2 x bottles of fruit juice would have been nicer)

came the day after my birthday to see my soanish friends
This is my 8th time at this hotel its like home from home for me i came as a solo traveller didnt feel at all frightened hafid hugged me on arrival and then Alvaro when he came later. it was a 6am flight so by the time I got there around 11 30 it was nice that I was able to go straight to my room reception was friendly as id been before.she remembered me The food at this hotel is amazing I dont know why people fault the food there are lots of choice ..the rooms are lovely and clean .the drinks are lovely.. Gabrielle is still short of glasses that makes me laugh lovely to see Haffid and Alvaro they can't do enough for you there is still the problem of people pushing in when waiting for the pool to open but I dont think that will change. im going home I the morning but wanted to say a Big Thankyou to lovely Alvaro and the rest of the amazing staff there isn't a lot of entertainment but when you have Gabriel you dont need it hes so funny can't wait to come back next year Thankyou lisa

Nice quality hotel
The Talyot hotel is a winner, and the choices we made were the correct ones. It is adult only, but not ancient oldies. A real mix that gave it a really vibrant feel, and of course international. Food was very good with at least one ‘show chef’ and a super variety of hot and cold foods, with a goodly lot cooked to order. Premium drinks, plus a self service wine dispenser….but bottles of better quality were easily available, also all inclusive. A taxi transfer is a must. Coaches cannot get near the hotel and guests have to carry luggage quite a way. The beach is lovely, but a five minute walk from the hotel and very very busy. 20€ 2 sunbeds and brolly. Not used by us.🤭🤭 Two pools at the hotel, one at the front smaller and with few sun loungers. Usually booked with pretty young things. The back pool and large jacuzzi was fine and zero issues finding a sunbed, at any time. Accommodation was excellent, with a large balcony and fabulous sea view. Ablution area open in the room which might disturb some, but shower was great. Storage and bed first class. Guests have to carry a card for service, as the hotel has all sorts of deals. All inclusive, really meant that. I would agree with other guests that the hotel is perhaps a little sterile in atmosphere.
