This apartment hotel is located in Cala d'Or, just 500 m from the beach at Cala Esmeralda and 5 minutes' walk from the town centre. Cala d'Or harbour, with its restaurants, shops and bars, is only 10 minutes away. Felanitx and Cala Mondrago are a 15-minute drive and Palma de Mallorca International Airport is 60 km away. This beach apartment complex consists of 2 blocks with a total of 74 apartments, a garden and a terrace. The establishment offers various useful facilities for adults and younger guests alike, while the accommodation units offer air-conditioning and feature either a balcony or a terrace with lovely views. This complex has a heated swimming pool for adults and children with a poolside snack bar. It also offers a full programme of daytime and evening activities for adults and children. No fun in the pool allowed!
No balls / No inflatables / No fun in the pool! If you are coming with children be aware that they are not allowed to have fun in the pool!! No balls is ridiculous and the life guard has been telling everyone off for the smallest of things! Other than that hotel is clean and good value. Don’t buy from the bar, bring items in from supermarket- we haven’t been told off for that … so far!

Great stay. Would return.
Great hotel. Room was perfect. Good size for myself, my wife, and our 5 year old daughter. Very clean, and has everything you need for self catering. Shower was amazing, so powerful!! Pool view was great - and ground level ideal with a young child. Great location near to supermarkets (fresh baguettes are great!), restaurants, etc. and quiet at night. Centrally located between Esmerelda beach and Grand Can beach.

Lovely relaxing Hotel
We have had a lovely relaxing week at Esmeralda Gardens. The Hotel is excellent value for money - apartments are spacious, well equipped also very clean. Room service was daily apart from Saturday and fresh towels provided if required. All staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome. We did use the pool bar to have breakfast a few times and found this to be good value - although I appreciate it could be pricey for a family. Must give a shout out to Iheanacho at the pool bar for his excellent Customer Service! Always had a smile and a chat with us - nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel very relaxed. We loved the pool area and found it quite peaceful - plenty of sunbeds available all day in full sun or shade. There is also a lovely zen garden with gentle music and a water feature which was very relaxing. The hotel is situated conveniently for shops and restaurants with 2 small beaches 10 minutes stroll away. We spent a day at Cala Gran beach which was lovely ( go early if you prefer a sunbed) and the sea was so warm. The karaoke bar across the road from the Hotel was loud but we did go a few times to see the tribute acts which were very good. Music stopped at midnight so it never disturbed us in the apartment. Overall we had a lovely week away and would return to this Hotel.

Nice apartments and holiday
As far as the apartments and location go, we couldn’t fault them. The rooms were clean and spacious and had added bonus of a water dispenser in corridor ( cold and hot water) which came in very useful. The pool area was clean and never had any trouble getting a sun bed. The reception and cleaners were all very polite when you passed them
I must mention two downsides. Firstly I thought that €60 for use of safe in room for two weeks was excessive, even with the €4 return deposit. By the time you pay tourist tax and safe upon arrival you’ve spent €110 before you even enter room. Secondly, you really should have a bench of some sort at the front gate by the road. For anyone with health problems, half a hour or so is a long time just to stand waiting for your transfer coach. There is more than enough room outside to have a bench or two. Apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and hopefully will be back next year ( and hopefully see a bench at gate).

It's a nice place to stay
Well I don't know what to say
We had to get the plumber out 3 times
Twice because the toilet would not flush and the last day of our holiday there was a leak coming from above our room into out bathroom .Plumber came out about 3 hours later its a good job he did its was pouring out from the ceiling ....he eventually fixed it
Apart from those issues we did have a lovely hoilday
The staff fantastic and helpful the cleaners do a fantastic job..the rooms just basic very clean
Pool area good plenty of sunbeds and brollies
Loads of places to eat and drink
