The apartment complex lies directly in the tourist area and only around 150 m from the sandy beaches of Cala Ferrera and Cala Esmeralda. Shops, bars and restaurants are to be found within 100 m and links to the transport network are also situated in the vicinity. The centre of Cala d'Or is within 800 m of the complex and the nearest nightclub is about 1 km away.
Renovated in 2005, the residence comprises a total of 126 apartments and consists of 3 partner hotels and a garden of 6,000 m². Guest can use the services of the 3 hotels. There is a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, lifts, safe and a currency exchange service. Further amenities include an air-conditioned buffet restaurant with highchairs for infants, bar, café, small supermarket, shops, hairdressing salon, games room, TV room, conference room, public Internet terminal, free wifi area, playground and kids' club. Furthermore, there is medical assistance, a laundry service and a bicycle hire service on offer. Those arriving by car may make use of the car park.
The pleasing apartments are air conditioned and include a combined living room/bedroom, separate bedroom and en suite bathroom. All come equipped with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a kitchenette, a fridge, tiling, central heating and air conditioning, a hire safe and a balcony. Apartments are cleaned 5 times a week.
In the sprawling outdoor complex is a swimming pool with a children's pool, as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use and a poolside snack bar. Further facilities include an indoor swimming pool (heated from May to October), a sauna, a gym and a massage service. Sports options include aerobics, aqua aerobics, table tennis, beach volleyball and bocce. For an additional fee, tennis, cycling/mountain biking, pool and minigolf may also be enjoyed. A seasonal entertainment programme also features amongst the leisure facilities.

Great place for families.
What a great place to stay with your family, the hotel and surroundings are very well maintained and very clean. Rooms are cleaned 5 out of 7 days and the cleaners do a very good job. The areas around the pool are nice and clean too. There is a pool bar for food and drinks, and the food served is of good quality and a good choice of drinks to order. It is ideal for families as it is far away enough from the town centre, which is a 10 to 15 minute walk away to not be bothered by noise and big crowds. There are lots of bars and restaurants on the main road as you come out of the main grounds, with shops a plenty too. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and will help you if you need anything. I have been here and the sister site over the road 4 times now and will be returning in September.
Couples Week Stay
We’ve just returned from a week stay here.
Pros:
Spacious room Great proximity to the beach and nice pool area Nice 15 minute walk to the busy square, but also good drinking spots much closer (Florida Centre for cocktails) Powerful shower Eco-friendly with water fountains No issues getting a sunbed, although many with towels were left unoccupied throughout the day
Cons:
From the moment we arrived, the room contained mosquitoes and this was a persistent issue until we left (many bites) Safe costed €4 a day which is ridiculous just to protect your own items and it only required being handed a key by the receptionist Double bed was two singles pushed together Walls were extremely thin so can hear conversations from neighbouring rooms Would not like to come with 3+ adults when someone would be required to sleep on the very small sofa bed Pool freezing - heat in spring months Potential for music around the pool?
Would recommend this hotel. It definitely is 3* and the mosquitos, safe, double bed, and thin walls are the issues to bear in mind when booking.
Fantastic apartments
Just back from a fantastic holiday at these apartments’ spacious’ clean and comfortable’ cleaners came every day the beds were so comfy, we stay in a ground floor apartment 103, this apartment is at the back where there’s lots of shade which was lovely after being in the sun all day. Very quiet and chill just what we needed. Everything is on your doorstep with these apartments included beaches, great value for are money and we will definitely be staying here again

Another lovely stay
A second amazing stay with this lovely hotel. Not overly busy by the pool each day which was great. Poolside kept exceptionally clean. Lots of sunbeds, possibly a few more parasols would be good. Bar by pool serves drink food and ice creams. We had an apartment overlooking the pool which was lovely as we could sit on the balcony at lunchtime and in the evenings. Rooms cleaned nearly every day if you wanted (we didn't, once a week was fine). There is a cool water dispenser on floor 1 by the lift so no need to buy bottles in the Spar shop. Room is well equipped for self catering, adequate crockery and cutlery with a toaster, kettle, saucepans and a cooker with 2 hobs. Shower gel provided. Safe is available at a daily charge, think it was 4€ a day which we didn't personally feel we needed. Hairdryer in bathroom is adequate. Shower was an over the bath type but had good pressure and was fine. The staff are very friendly. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and the regular road train will take you to the marina which is a gorgeous setting to dine. There are regular buses if you want to explore further. The local beach is quite small and has no shade but is a beautiful cove with clear waters. We loved the hotel so much we've just booked to go in the autumn. There are sister hotels nearby that you can use the facilities of if you wish.

Good location a bit tired.
This is our third stay at this particular hotel. It is in a great location in Cala Ferrera, down a quiet path into a large garden which houses the large pool with the hotel surrounding it. Check in could have been better. The man on reception didn't tell us much as we had been before. We received the room we requested, which was much appreciated. Sadly though they no longer provide a welcome back gift, which we used to really appreciate (just a card and a small bottle of olive oil) but it was a nice gesture. Our room was nice and quiet except for our noisy neighbours, which you can't do alot about. I did discover a dirty blanket in the cupboard though and they provide the most foul smelling dish soap I've ever smelt in my life, honestly it was rank! The pool bar is good, nice food but seriously expensive. I was also really disappointed that we couldn't use the small inflatable we'd bought in the pool, the pool is large so even with loads of inflatables in there it wouldn't be a problem. We also struggled to find a sunbed. People leave their towels on them all day then come back in the afternoon, it's so inconsiderate. They should be removed by the lifeguard as they do at Sa Marina. I think next year we will be looking for a 2 bed apartment although Azul gardens has served us well in the past we are outgrowing this hotel. Its a solid choice though if you're thinking of staying here.
