This pleasant hotel lies directly in Cala Bona Marina just 100 m from the nearest beautiful sandy beach. Cala Millor with its many shopping and entertainment venues is just 1 km away whilst the nearest links to the public transport network are about 250 m from the hotel. The island's capital town of Palma and the international airport is about 70 km away. The elegant, fully air-conditioned hotel offers 4 floors with a total of 189 rooms. Each of the tastefully decorated apartments comes with a bathroom, a telephone, air conditioning, central heating, a hire safe and a balcony. Guests have access to a fabulous pool and garden complex and facilities include a cosy bar and a restaurant. There is a swimming pool as well as a furnished sun terrace for guests to take advantage of.
Disappointed as pictures made it look fancy. Food was not great - always tepid and not replenished very quickly. There was the usual sun bed situation with beds being reserved and not sat on for most of the day. Pool staff said nothing they could do. I refuse to set an alarm at 6am on holiday to secure a bed! This also happened at the small beach area nearby. Even chairs being reserved around pool bar as no sun beds available. Small pool, no room to swim as lots of groups of older women standing chatting and floating on lilos. Cramped and claustrophobic pool seating area. Sun beds very close together. No atmosphere, a bit of gentle background music would have been nice. Tired and tatty balcony furniture. Damp smelling bar area. However, hotel was in a good location and staff were all friendly and helpful considering what they have to work with. Enjoyed Cala Bona but would not recommend this hotel or return here ourselves.
I will definitely not be the only one leaving a bad review. Terrible, no air conditioning all week, no electricity on several days it's a joke to call this 4 star it should be a 0 star rating or better still shut down until it's fit for purpose 😡 I felt sorry for the elderly as the lifts were out of order which meant they had to get the stairs. People leaving the hotel & arriving had to take their cases downstairs / upstairs. Honestly whoever owns this Hotel should be ashamed of themselves absolutely disgusting 😡😡 The poor staff having to deal with the complaints on a daily basis.
Where did I begin. Shown our first room which was supposed to be a superior pool/mountain view. It was in fact an alleyway/rooftop view. We asked to be moved to a Seaview room which we did.At a cost of an extra 420 euros. We asked for a third chair for the balcony and was given a dining room plastic chair. It took 3 days and a chat to the general manager to get a patio chair. The A/C stopped working the night we arrived and wasn't fixed for 5 days. I know it wasn't the hotels fault however neither was it ours. To try and sleep in a room with 30 ÷ degrees was impossible. We were given an electric fan, however there were ongoing power cuts so this was neither reliable or sufficient to cool the room down. The food was ok. You could always find something to eat. However, it wasn't very hot .I presume due to the constant power cuts. It was almost impossible to get a sunbed unless you got up by 6.am. Nothing was done by the hotel staff to remove people's towels that hadn't been there all day. I definitely wouldn't say that its a four star hotel. Very dated decor. I will say that the hotel is spotless and the waiting staff are very efficient. The hotel is in a perfect position right opposite the little marina. You were able to sit on the balcony and listen to the live show from the next hotel. I would neither recommend or return to this hotel.
Usual scramble for the very limited sunbeds at 6.30am very very small pool for the size of the hotel. No room to swim as always packed. Aircon in room was useless . Rooms cleaned everyday and hotel clean . Entertainment poor. Not even free water at the evening meal!!!! Food basic but ok. Needs updating . Warm beer. Beach tiny and rocky . Cala Millor 10 mins bus ride away is beautiful. Harbour lovely but Benidorm vibes . Not 4* ! Staff very friendly. Great breakfast. Lovely massage.
Just returned from a four night break at this hotel and in our opinion the negative reviews are harsh.
The staff are so polite and welcoming and can’t do enough for you.
The pool area although busy is clean and we were always able to get a sun bed and umbrella, the pool was lovely and refreshing and clean.
Our room was fully renovated and had a beautiful double shower and massive bed which was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in.
The food in the morning is usual buffet, but was always hot and plentiful with omelets cooked to order,it could do with two chefs cooking at this station maybe one doing eggs.
The evening food was delicious with various food cooked to order such as steak etc,it was always hot and replenished quickly.
The hotel is in a great location close to everything and overlooks the harbour.
Try it and make your own mind up.
