Cala Bona
This fantastic hotel boasts a privileged location situated on the promenade of Cala Bona, just beside the beach and at only a few minutes from the harbour. For shopping, guests might go to the town of Cala Millor which is situated at less than 2 km distance. The airport is about 70 km away. The resort offers elegantly furnished and designed to provide a quite atmosphere. All rooms feature a private balcony and some have a stunning sea view. Guests can enjoy a delicious buffet with show cooking in the on-site restaurant and spend the day on the upper terrace which offers incredible views as well as a solarium and a Jacuzzi. The spa centre is the best place where visitors can relax and indulge themselves with fantastic treatments for health and beauty.

A return to Cala Bona after over 25 years.
First stay at Cabot Cap de Mar in Cala Bona. Location was great right in the heart of the resort. The room suite in block 3 44 was okay , comfy beds , great shower etc. Bit of a sea view. Lovely roof top sun terrace. However there were several disappointing aspects of the hotel which results in us not returning to this hotel.
Restaurant situated downstairs in the basement, no atmosphere and waitresses were surly. A nice inviting Swimming pool but was always in the shade and was very cold , saw only 1 person use it over our weeks stay. The spa was situated downstairs small pool and uninviting very hot and humid. No evening entertainment or atmosphere in the hotel bar , possibly due to the extensive selection of bars and restaurants outside the hotel. The hotel was clean , modern reception and bar , room was cleaned daily. Reception staff always helpful. Room was adequate needed a refurbishment.
We loved the resort easy walking both ways to the port in Cala bona and Cala Miller. Great for motability.
If your looking for an adequate hotel with a great location then yes. However not for us I'm afraid, but would return to Cala Bona.

Don't waste your money on the 1 star hotel
We go on a lot of holidays but this hotel is by far the worst hotel that we have ever stayed in. Booked with On The Beach who sold this as a four star hotel. We would give it 0 stars. Rock hard beds. Ants our room. A broken shower arm. Broken safe. TV that you have to pay wi-fi for after spending thousands for the holiday. Inedible food (including mussels with hotdogs in the same dish, salad covered in thick sauces so that you cannotsee the quality of the food beneath, Brussels sprouts, people cutting the bread by hand so that you were cutting a slice that the last person had touched. This 'restaurant' had one toaster that there was a long queue for. There are dead flies in all the glass lights above the tables) There were missing tiles in the pool. There was one night of entertainment which was so bad that only 2 people were watching it.
We spent thousands on eating out so be prepared to take lots of money. Thank God for the sofas in the front room because they were our beds for the duration of our stay.
The only mirror that had a socket anywhere near it was in the bathroom so prepare to get electrocuted when straightening your hair ladies. However, there was a plug socket up the top of the wall in the sitting room. We are still trying to decide its use! The balcony was full of bird excrement.
We believe that the hotel is being renovated next year. It shouldn't be advertised as a four star hotel until then. The place is abysmal. Thank God for Stanley's or we would have starved. We will never return to this hotel, or recommend it to anyone.
Cancelled our booking without notice
Booked a suite room directly with the hotel. They then cancelled our booking without notice.
We are still waiting for a refund over a week later.
Poor as it then left us with limited choice within Cala Bona.

Good wee hotel.
First visit back to Cabot Cap de Mar in a few years and still as good. Pool area and rooftop area have been refurbished. Actually preferred the old rooftop as they have sacrificed sunloungers for tables and chairs and a bar. The jacuzzi has gone. In the week there never saw anyone buying a drink during the day although the bar didn't open until 4pm. Didn't go there at night. Would have preferred if they set up for sunbathing during the day and replaced the sunloungers with tables and chairs at night. Hotel is very clean and the room cleaning was excellent. Staff were all very nice although I did get scolded for drinking a supermarket bought beer at the poolside. Them's the rules I guess but seemed petty. Poolside was very quiet and hardly a rush for the bar. Food was ok. Breakfasts pretty good but they have done away with the fresh orange juice squeezer. Hotel caters mostly for the Germans so lots of sausage and pork. Meals at night, so-so. Ate out a couple of nights. If the food had been better I would have scored the hotel higher. All in all, a nice wee hotel. Like everything around it, low rise and split into 3 blocks. Central location but so quiet at night. Well recommended, but maybe best b&b.

Lovely skybar and waiter.
Really nice hotel. The best, the sky bar and Miquel, always with a smile and giving the best experience. Awesome cocktails. Thanks for everything.
