When you go to Lanzarote, you're probably going to want to spend as much time as possible on the beach. One of the many great advantages of staying at the VIK Hotel San Antonio is that it is the perfect location, right on the beach at Puerto del Carman.
Everything's close at hand when you stay at the VIK Hotel San Antonio including the superb Playa de los Pocillos beach. You'll be on the sand in seconds, or you can be exploring the vibrant resort of Puerto del Carmen in minutes. Want to explore further afield? There are bus and taxi stops right outside the door of the hotel.
We don't think you'll want to spend too long away from the beach or the hotel though. VIK Hotel San Antonio is a top-notch four star hotel. Everything has been beautifully designed and is a visual delight that makes great use of the available space.
As an alternative to cooling off in the sea, you might fancy a dip in the pool. The hotel swimming pools are set in lush gardens in the shade of some lofty palm trees. The gym - part of the hotel's wellness centre - is another great feature. Again, impeccably designed and sure to inspire you. There are excellent tennis facilities too.
En suite side seaview rooms at the VIK Hotel San Antonio are spacious and come with great views as standard. You can enjoy the views best from your balcony or terrace and upgrades to sea-view rooms are also available - just ask for details. In room facilities include plasma screen satellite TV, telephone, hair dryer, safe* and mini-bar*.
With an exceptional restaurant; even a cocktail bar, the VIK Hotel San Antonio is a very easy place to stay. You've got the location, the amenities and the beach; all yours to enjoy...

This hotel should never be introduced to families. For a start how can any families enjoy this hotel when you cannot have NO INFLATABLES in the pool. You cannot play with a ball in the pool!!! If you want a kettle in the room, you have to pay .... disgusting... full board, lunch, dinner you pay for all drinks INCLUDING WATER.... GOOD points it is clean, staff are friendly & the food is just OK.This hotel is for the old old people with respect. These holiday companies should not sell this to any young family. Also may I say the room needs a complete refurd, the shower looks like it came from the 1970s.What else can I say except young families read this & be aware!!!!!
We are currently staying half board at this hotel from 16th to 23rd August,
Firstly we were very surprised at check in when we asked if we could upgrade to all inclusive that this was not an option,
We were told this must be booked in advance to give the hotel time to plan or words to that effect.
I find that very strange it is buffet service so didn’t think adding on two extra for lunch would be a big issue ?
There is a notice advising that it may be possible for half board customers to swap dinner for lunch but this must be pre arranged.
When I asked how much notice was need o was told as much as possible, as there was limited availability for change requests.
Again I find this so strange how can another 2 diners for lunch rather than dinner cause too much concern ?
My biggest annoyance is that there is not even water available at dinner. We were charged €2.60 for a bottle of water on our first night.
Yet at breakfast there is a water station available. It is obviously deliberately removed in the evening so it is unavailable for half board clients.
I find this astonishing at this level of hotel does not provide water to half board guests.
We have paid over £2400 for a weeks holiday and these minor issues have left a very bad taste in our mouth.
It is a real shame as the hotel itself is very good. Location great plenty of sun beds but let’s itself down with penny pinching and inflexible policies.
If anyone from management would like to offer a more detailed explanation as to why there are such limitations in place for people booking half board.I would be happy to listen to them.
I am currently staying in room 4717
This was our first time staying in this hotel even though we visit Lanzarote every year sometimes twice normally staying in apartments. The hotel was kept very clean rooms and towels changed every day the staff were always very friendly especially the restaurant staff , the food was good quality even though not always piping hot . There are 3 pools with lots of beds and shade but also the sunbed war every morning people putting towels on beds then not returning till later on in the day which needs addressing. Over all we had a lovely 10 days stay and would definitely return
Great hotel great view from balcony
We have just returned from a one week stay at the San Antonio hotel.
We traveled with another couple who are friends. We arrived at the hotel at about midday and check in is not until 2pm.
We were lucky as our room was ready and we got checked in straight away, our friends, not so lucky and only got checked in at 2.30.
This was not a huge problem as we had some food and drinks at the pool bar.
The hotel is a bit dated but the room was fine, large enough with plenty storage space and a digital safe.
There is a small refrigerator in the room also.
A large tv which has lots of British channels.
We found the bed to be very comfy.
Bathroom had a large walk in shower which maintained an even temperature when showering.
Rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed as often as you want.
We had room 4616, the lift was along a long corridor from reception and you had to walk up a few steps before getting to the lift.
The WiFi throughout the hotel is pretty poor, but it did work so long as you can put up with it dropping out regularly.
The highlight for me was the food, it was amazingly good, particularly the evening meals. To cater so well for that number of guests is a testament to how good the catering staff must be.
All the staff I encountered were great.
The guests during our stay varied all ages from very young to not so young.
The floor we were on stayed very quiet the whole week and we never had any disturbance to wake us up.
Have no fear if you’ve booked this hotel, it’s great. Especially if you appreciate quality food.
