With its beautiful garden setting and its close proximity to the charming old town of Puerto del Carmen, the THB Flora is a wonderful choice of holiday hotel. There's so much to see and do - the beach is just 800 metres away; the old town reveals new delights at every visit, and on top of that, there are all the facilities of the hotel to enjoy too.
The swimming pools are the heart of the THB Flora hotel. This is where guests flock to swim and mingle, to soak up some sun and take it easy. Fringed with palm trees, there's no better place to while away the hours. There's a great snack bar on hand too, so you can spend as much of the day outside, with snacks and cool drinks whenever you fancy.
The THB Flora's gardens are another big attraction. It's a real treat to be able to step out of the sun for a while and enjoy a shady stroll around the hotel, taking in the delights of the garden as you go.
Your convenience and comfort are top of the agenda so there's a handy laundry service*, Wi-Fi*, and a supermarket all on-site. There's also a wide choice of accommodation, from studios to two bedroom apartments and Junior Suites, each with a kitchenette, balcony or terrace. Of course, it's not just the practical things that make a good place to stay it's all the little extras like great live entertainment, and lots of games, from pool to table tennis. Rooms are complete with individual self-controlled air conditioning.
There's a wonderfully relaxed pace of life at the THB Flora hotel in Puerto del Carmen. With two excellent swimming pools for you to enjoy - as well as that glorious beach just a short walk away - you're all set up to take it easy.

This hotel is perfectly located to explore the quaint and peaceful old town of Puerto del Carmen in the heart of Lanzarote. Just 800 metres from the beach, guests can choose to relax by one of the two outdoor pools or spend time on the nearby warm sands. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and offers excellent entertainment facilities for adults and children alike.
Loved the holiday but marks down for bang average rooms, didn't change our beds in a full week, really bad leak in bathroom,no gym or sauna open, cats and cat poop everywhere (which means flies everywhere), and the lack of nighttime entertainment was the biggest let down. PLEASE NOTE..This was NO fault of the staff, when we enquired about it we were told they were waiting on hotel management to provide a microphone.
John and Kevin are the soul of the hotel. Absolutely fantastic with our kids throughout our 8 night stay. I can't speak highly enough of them.
Location is good, cheap taxi if you don't fancy a steep hill walk.
Again, without Kevin and John I would not stay here again. All staff really nice and food was ok too. Slightly expensive but supermarkets nearby.
Well, what can I say about Hotel THB Flora? My husband and I came to stay here for four nights. We were welcomed straight away by the friendly staff. We only had B&B, and our room was spotless. The room had a double bed, a massive TV, and a separate room with a TV in a pull-out sofa bed that was also a double. (Perfect for families!) The second room also had a kettle and a coffee machine. The little bungalow-style house is perfectly cleaned every day. We only had B&B, so I can only comment on that. An English breakfast was served every day. Proper bacon and eggs and loads more. We've never had such a choice on our holidays, including all-inclusive. We were very impressed. Again, the staff are amazing. There are three pools and a wellness center on site, as well as shops that sell everything and are not too expensive. A free bus to the beach every day, and collection is free. (There is a hill to walk up.) If not, just ask the staff to book a taxi; it's about £4 from the strip.
We would like to say a massive thank you to the staff and the lovely older man at the desk for helping us with trips and looking after our bags before we left. We will definitely be coming back!
We stayed at THB Flora for 1 week start of June, 2 adults 2 children (6&7). We were in a 1 bed superior apartment in Flora 2. We had a great time, the room was perfect for us and me and my husband thought the sofa bed was really comfy. The cleaners were fantasic, we were under a tree with bits dropping but they would come sweep it and if we needed theyd let you borrow a brush and shovel or come down it themselves. We didn't use the pool at Flora 2 because its deep but we used the one at Flora 1 a couple of times the kids loved it, it was lovely and clean. The on site shop is great of convenience and isn't badly priced either. Staff were great, older man at reception was brilliant helping us get sorted with excursions and calling taxis etc.. we didn't have any issues and have already booked for same time next year but for 12 nights next time.
Lovely place but the cats oh my god definetely need to do something will put a lot of people off
There were 2 main detracting parts of our weeks stay at THB Flora, the first if which was the constant work being done whilst we have been staying in the hotel. It has been from 8am-7/8pm most nights and also shut down one of the entrances to the convenience store and fully shut one of the main two reason we wanted to stay at THB Flora being the gym and health suite. I can understand that the hotel needs to be upgraded and renovated but why choose the busiest months to do it and not do it when the hotel isn't full woth guests. The second detracting factor was the aircon in our room we notified reception of the issue 4 times for it to get to the stage where it was slightly better than it'd been but we were having to deal with 22-23c most of the time at night and during the day as when we opened the front or back door the aircon would switch itself off and it'd essentially reset the temp in the room. So we could open the door to get a slight breeze blowing through but that would essentially render our room hotter than before. With it being our first time in lanzarote we were unaware as to where was the best location to go. We'd been recommended Puerto Del Carmen by friends and family but didnt know whether to plump for old town/harbour or the new town and chose THB Flora as it was close to the beach and had the facilities we were looking for, however did not realise it was at the top of a very steep hill which had to be scaled to reach the majority of restaurants and bars in the area. The hotel itself is clean and for a 3* rating has a lot of things going for it including the food in the morning (as we were bed and breakfast), the fact the room is cleaned daily with fresh towels provided everyday also, we also ate in the hotel twice and for an all you can eat buffet it came to 16€ each, minus drinks, which we thought was very reasonable given the selection and how fresh everything was. When we return to PDC we are more aware of the better locations to stay in are now and would not recommend this hotel to anybody that doesnt like extreme fitness everyday after arguably eating and drinking enough to down a elephant.
