Location very nice , atmosphere ok , rooms adequate, reception staff when we arrived were not very helpful at all, we were not shown to tour rooms bearing this was at 11.00pm at night , there was 3 people behind the desk still not shown just a pen diagram on a little map which was so small . Cocktail bar was a joke for entertainment with the TV on at the same time with football showing and everyone had their seats pointing to the TV instead of watching the entire entertainment, food is below average , deserts are non existent and some taste like Germolene. Staff are helpful at times and when they want to be , rooms are clean which is probably the best point , pools are ok and plenty of sunbeds . We enjoyed our holiday but the hotel needs a lot of improvement.
Not long home from our second visit to Lanzarote village and our visit was just as good as our first if not better!
Reception staff Amazing! Bar staff and pool staff Amazing! Maids Amazing! In fact all staff members were amazing. Never walked past you without a hello or Hola. Very laid back hotel and felt peaceful.
Food great Rooms great ( large bottle of water left in room daily) Hotel overall spotless!
Big shout out to the lovely lady on reception ( didn’t get her name but she’ll know am mentioning her) I got some mosquitoes bites on my first day , she gave me a plug in for our room also send someone up to spray our room, never seen anymore after that, she also advice me and guided me to a chemist. On our second last day she managed to set us up with a late check in room, just so helpful !!! So thank you again ! Definitely will be back next year. When leaving reception staff asked if we had a nice stay which was lovely of them, some hotels just take the key and that’s about it. This hotel care about their visitors! Highly recommended to families & couples who are looking for a nice hotel with a lovely atmosphere!
Enjoyed our stay at Lanzarote Village Hotel , we were with you for a week . Room was very clean and serviced daily , wasn’t keen on its location at first but it turned out to be cool and quiet . We were close to all amenities and never really had a problem finding a sun bed .
Food was good with choices , we were half board and found this acceptable . Choice at breakfast good , would have preferred English style sausage instead of hotdog type .
Staff pleasant and reception helpful .
We hired a double mobility scooter to get around which was more expensive than Tenerife but worth having due to our ages and mobility .
Entertainment team worked hard
And always had a smile.
We thought50 euros per couple expensive to upgrade to all
Inclusive we didn’t need lunch . Perhaps just a drinks package would have been good .
Would recommend and we would like to return .
This is a lovely hotel,Staff are great,we did B@B and Breakfast was great.Room was spotless.Have stayed in 3 Hotels in PDC and this one is the Best.
Just returned from our third visit to Lanzarote Village. We love this hotel and would definitely recommend it.
The hotel is in an ideal location as it is a short walk to the beach and also to the main road which takes you to the shops and bars, or you can go the other way towards Matagorda which makes a lovely running/walking route.
The hotel was again lovely and clean, and our room was cleaned daily and we were given fresh towels each day. We had an issue with the toilet one morning, reported it to Reception and it was dealt with quickly.
There was a good selection of hot and cold food at breakfast, dinner and tea. There didn't seem to be enough staff working on the pool bar so was always a big queue. The staff worked so hard to get guests served quickly.
I do think the entertainment needs a re-think though. Even though the acts who are on at night are good, it would be nice to see a variety of entertainment ... maybe bingo? Something the guests can get involved in. Also, the kids disco seemed very repetitive ... maybe do some kids games. The kids entertainment was aimed at younger ones so apart from the games room there wasn't much entertainment for older kids.
On our first day we were told we couldn't leave our towels on the sun loungers. This has never been an issue the last two times we have visited, but if guests can't reserve sunbeds then this needs to be reinforced. We weren't told anything the next few days but then on our last full day were once again told we couldn't leave our towels out. I understand the reason for this rule but the hotel needs to make sure it is enforced daily.
Overall, we had a lovely week ☺️
