Set overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel features outdoor pools and a poolside bar. The air-conditioned suites are a 15-minute walk from Playa Chica Beach. There is a chill out area with a Balinese Bed and sun loungers which looks out to the sea. You will also find a garden and terrace, as well as a gym and Wellness and Beauty Centre. The outdoor pool, heated in winter, has a small adjoining dynamic pool with a little waterfall and water jets. There is a buffet restaurant and a restaurant serving à la carte meals. The hotel is environmentally-friendly, using the latest technologies and renewable energies to reduce CO2 emissions. Each suite comes with a private, furnished terrace and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. They include a Nespresso coffee machine and a minibar. Bathrooms come with a rain shower, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and free toiletries. You will find shops, bars and restaurants in the harbour area, 10 minutes' walk away. There is also a supermarket 50 metres from the property. Timanfaya National Park can be reached in a 20-minute drive. Arrecife is 15 minutes drive from La Isla y el Mar Hotel Boutique. Lanzarote Airport is 10 minutes away by car.

Fantastic Hotel
Absolutely superb 5 star hotel. Really calm and super friendly. All staff , especially reception couldn’t do enough for you . The rooms were huge as were the bathroom and lounge area . Everything in the grounds is immaculate and high end . Lovely walk down to the old town area , would go back on a heart beat

Wonderful hotel and even better staff!
Unfortunately due to other commitments we only spent three nights at this outstanding hotel. This was our fifth visit and next time we plan to stay for longer. On arrival the reception staff were very welcoming and we bumped into Daniela who greeted us with a ‘welcome home’! Daniela made us feel special and thanked us for our returning custom. La Isla y El Mar is just perfect and very chilled. It only takes minutes to relax and slip into the peaceful vibe which makes it so special for us. Our suite (105) was very spacious with a comfortable bed and impressive bathroom which had an open air aspect. As usual with this hotel breakfast is outstanding with a wide variety to choose from and staff who are very efficient. The pool area and pool bar are also impressive and enhanced by reflections from the mirrored architecture. Eugena holds the fort in the pool bar and leads the younger staff expertly. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool and higher up on the terrace area which provides unprecedented views over the Puerto Del Carmen harbour area. Kentia is the evening bar and gourmet club where staff members Ana Belen and Claudia work tirelessly serving speciality cocktails and a wide variety of drinks. Guest vocalist Aaron is top class and sings soul and jazz to entertain all. For us the stand out member of staff at this hotel is Daniela who makes a point of welcoming everyone and speaks to as many guests as possible. Daniela has moved from her previous role as a mixologist at the bar to guest experience manager and quite simply ensures everything is as perfect as it can be for every guest. Daniella is truly an asset to the hotel. I highly recommend La Isla y El Mar as a hotel, particularly for its wonderful and engaging staff, we look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic Hotel and exceptional staff.
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the money we arrived all the staff were really friendly really helpful. Nothing ever to much trouble. Daniela, would always check in with guest every day, at breakfast, by the pool or when ever she saw you.❤️ The hotel is outstanding and the pool and gardens were always immaculate. Our room was lovely. We will definitely be returning.
Exceptional Hotel
Just returned after a 2 week stay. Perfect location for access to the Harbour & beachfront. Hotel set in beautiful grounds with immaculate gardens and planting. All staff were friendly, happy in their work, nothing too much trouble. Enjoyed an exceptional breakfast each day. Cocktail bar & pool bar both served delicious cocktails & food. We stayed in pool view room. Really enjoyed being near the pool soaking up the atmosphere. Sun beds were the comfiest we have ever had! Pool so tranquil with jacuzzi section to enjoy. A big thank you to customer relations Daniela who went above & beyond with our needs. A beautiful person who genuinely cares for her guests. We would return to this hotel, we couldn’t fault it.
Wonderful hotel
Spent a week in this wonderful hotel, think this was our 5 th visit and it certainly won’t be our last. This is a very chilled and peaceful hotel not a lot going on but that’s what makes it special. Very spacious suite with comfortable bed, breakfast was plentiful and plenty of sunbeds. The stand out person at this hotel in Danielle who every day went round and spoke to every guest making sure everything and everyone was okay and could she do any to improve they stay. A definite asset to hotel.
