The apartment complex is located in a peaceful area of Playa de los Pocillos. The sand/shingle beach, public transport links and the tourist centre with restaurants, bars, pubs, nightclubs and shops lie around 200 m away, whilst the centre is 1 km away and the airport lies 10 km from the hotel.
The complex comprises 23 villas and offers a refuge of peace and quiet. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange desk and a cloakroom. Additional facilities at the neighbouring Hyde Park Lane bungalow complex may also be used including a bar, a café, a small supermarket, an air-conditioned restaurant with a smoking area and highchairs for children, a dining room, a conference room and Internet access. A bicycle hire service and a car park are additionally to be found here.
Each villa has its own garden with a heated swimming pool and sun terrace with hammocks, sun loungers and parasols. The villas include 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen, 2 bathrooms with hairdryer, one of which includes a bath with Jacuzzi function and washing machine. Further fittings include a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a fridge, a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, a double bed and a seating area.
Guests may also make use of all the facilities at the neighbouring Hyde Park Lane hotel. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out additionally available for use on the beach (for an additional fee). A karting track can be reached in about 500 m, the marina is about 1 km away, whilst a golf course lies 25 km away.

Wonderful holiday
What a wonderful place. So clean great air con and friendly staff. We stayed in room 122 for 2 weeks 2 adults and two children. Plenty of space but definately take extra hangers ( we bought travel ones with us) entertainment by way of a singers or group every night. Kids club on 5 days a week huge thank you to David aka Mr Potato head he was just wonderful with our kids! 5pm kids mini disco at the pool they loved it! Fed the wild paraqueets was just amazing. Our kids love David! Jerry the entertainment guy was fab! So much energy really good guy. You are looking at €4 for a pint at the pool bar and around €13 euros for a pizza. Laundrette by the shop is €4 and you can buy laundry pods in the shop for €1.20 a pod. Pools were great as was the hot tub. Breakfast €12 and kids eat free it was very nice lots of choice. 10 min walk to start of PDC strip around €3 to €4 euros back in a taxi. Around 10-15 min walk down to los piccolos and if you want to brave the heat about a further 20 mins onto matagorda. We walk to Rancho texas park mostly pavement but on very uneven part so we got taxi back for €3. Rooms cleaned every other day. Stray cats were adorable they are very well looked after by the hotel. There is a charity shop onsite and all proceeds go to feeding the cats. Location is a little far out but that didnt bother us. We will definately be back. Thank you HPL! X

Pool music so loud
Staying here now and although the rooms are lovely and clean and AC is fantastic. Its let down by the extremely loud music being played by the pool pretty much every day, we love music and have music on at home all.the time, but when you can't even talk to each when sitting right next to each other, because you can't hear the other person speak its too much! It doesn't seem like anyone much else is enjoying it too, there is lots of people eye rolling and tutting when it starts, there is a quiet pool, but its always fully taken up and I suppose this is why.
We would 100% return
Really clean, Nice relaxing holiday and choice of busy pool or quiet. We mainly used the quiet pool. Breakfasts are fantastic, Evening buffet Is Ok if you can't be bothered going to the strip. Only downfall is its a bit of a walk to the main strip, Use Google maps to get a handy short cut. Taxis are cheap enough though ranging from 4 to 6 euro to and from the main strip.
Lovely family oriented hotel
We had a great time here! I came with my mother and my daughter! The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean! A great selection of food and entertainment. Mini club has been the best part of our trip and David made it all worth while! I was nervous about leaving my daughter but she build a beautiful relationship with David. I stayed a couple of times at the beginning which was no problem at all. I saw how he cared for all the children and shown genuine passion for the job! He made everyone feel included! There were games such as uno, mini disco, Zumba and feeding the parakeets! (And so much more) I’ve booked to come back next year purely for the mini club, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my little girl!
4 star hotel 5 star experience
This was our third stay at Hpl and again we absolutely loved it.
From the moment you open your bungalow door the freshness hits you . Spotlessly clean and they worked hard to keep it that way throughout our stay .
We are always made to feel very comfortable.
The amenities at hpl are also great from the lovely staff at the pool bar which also has great entertainment . We ate a few times at the pool bar and it was great , good food and good value.
We find the location perfect as its a quiet location but you are a short distance away from the main strip and matagorda.
As our bus transfer was later in the day they allowed us to continue to use the facilities until we departed .
We highly recommend hpl and we can't wait to go back next year.
