The complex comprises 23 villas and offers a refuge of peace and quiet. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange desk and a cloakroom. Additional facilities at the neighbouring Hyde Park Lane bungalow complex may also be used including a bar, a café, a small supermarket, an air-conditioned restaurant with a smoking area and highchairs for children, a dining room, a conference room and Internet access. A bicycle hire service and a car park are additionally to be found here.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Amazing peaceful villas which are in a perfect location! Highly recommend.
Don't book these apartments for Christmas. The room was damp, musty and dirty. Running water down the windows. No customer service. Blunt reception staff. Won't help. Won't even order taxis. A disaster from start to finish. Ruined our Christmas.
We stayed at Hyde Park Lane for 2 weeks July/Aug 26, 2A and 2C aged 11&5. We have been to Lanzarote multiple times but this was out first stay at HPL and we weren't disappointed. Reception area very clean and smells lovely. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We stayed in a one bed bungalow over the road and to the right which seemed like the quieter area which was nice. The bungalow was very clean and well equipped with shower gel, shampoo, soap, washing up liquid and a sponge. Microwave, coffee machine and all the utensils etc you need to get by in self catering. I believe they don't have air con but the rooms are 'climate controlled' we had read reviews about this not being very good but ours was great. i woke up cold a couple of nights it worked so well. It was lovely coming back in to a cool bungalow from the heat outside and we kept the curtains closed in the day to help with the heat too. Had two beds in the bedroom and a bed in the living area plus the settee made into a bed. All of which were really comfortable and clean. Plenty of space within the bungalow. Nice clean bathroom with shower and double sink and toilet. Hair dryer also in the bathroom which was powerful. All Staff were nice and friendly, from reception, cleaners and lifegaurds and the shop and bar. We asked for extra pillows and they were delivered to out bungalow 10minutes later. Grounds and pool all well kept and clean. There are two pools which we didn't know before visiting. The main one near reception with the pool bar. This one has music on all day and entertainment programme plenty of beds. The other one is across the road where we were staying and is a quieter pool, no music and less sunbeds. We only used this one. The pool is salt water and cold but after the initial shock it is perfect in the heat. Toilets and showers next to the pool all very clean. People would leave towels on sunbeds and by 10 11 not even be there so lifeguards would regularly go round and remove them. We ended up with someone's beds at 10.30 when the lifeguard removed towels for us to have them. The family didnt turn up until gone 2pm ans then expected their towels to still be in place. I don't agree with this so personally I was happy the lifeguards did this. Hyde park is located 5minutes or so from the beach and then 15minutes from the front start of PFC strip another 10minutes and you are in the heart of it. The strip goes on for a good hours walk. Location might not be great for everyone especially with mobility issues but we like a walk so location fine for us. If not a taxi is €5. Becuase of the kids we would sometimes get a taxi into PDC and then walk back. Feels totally safe to walk back to in the dark. We didnt go to the entertainment but it was just singers on a rota for the month. We could hear some of it from our bungalow on the couple od nights we were back at that time. Food from the pool bar was really nice and reasonably priced ans good portions. Pizza..nuggets, chicken wings, burgers, salads, chips. We ate at rhe restaurant one morning for breakfast €12 per adult and kids ate free. It was ok. All the usual meats and cheeses and salad which all looked nice. Chef making omelette and fried eggs on request. Fresh pancakes which were really nice. Weren't a fan of the scrambled eggs or bacon or sausage though. Evening meal was €18 per adult and kids ate free. Didn't rate this at all. Food was just warm and just nothing much to make a meal, just lots of different things. Plus with 1 or 2 soft drinks each it cost €70 in total and tou could pay that in one of the hundreds of restaurants in PDC, los Pocillos or Matagorda for a much nicer tastier meal. We tried them once but wouldn't bother again. Recommend Golden Corner in PDC for a €3 Breakfast. Fu Gui in Matagorda for a Chinese meal. Peeking Duck in PDC for Chinese buffet amd great views (14€ adult & €7 children) and many many more to choose from. Overall I cant fault HPL especially for the price, in comparison to others. We like it so muxh whilst there we already booked for Aug 27 and bringing our friends with us.
Just come back from a week stay in the 2 bed villa with a pool. I cannot fault the accommodation and general facilities available at the hotel.
The villa was spacious, clean, had everything needed in the kitchen. A washing machine helped too!
The pool was saltwater and 1.5m deep for the most part but put children enjoyed swimming in there every day! The villa was cleaned every other day with fresh towels and bedding. There was air conditioning in the main bedroom and living area and a lovely outdoor seating/dining area which you could close off from the pool to keep children safe.
The villa was well located, private but not far from the hotel should you wish to use the main pool, second pool, splash pad, pool bar etc.
Also located a short walk from the main strip of restaurants. Enough near by within a 10 minute walk if you wanted to stay local but also push on another 10 minutes in each direction along the beach and there is a variety of bars, restaurants and shops.
The beach was clean and quiet. The whole resort felt calm and clean. We were very impressed.
To note, we had significant issues with On the Beach after a change in flights (out of our control) which meant our final day needed to be swapped to a stay in an apartment at the complex. The staff were friendly and helpful in making this transition as smooth and seamless as possible.
I would most definitely stay at Hyde Park Lane again!
Just arrived back from an excellent stay at Hyde Park Lane. Accomodation is clean, spacious, in good condition and well maintained, all public areas are spotless and repairs are very quick.
Beds comfortable and cleaning provided every other day.
Food at the pool bar is plentiful and reasonably priced, drink are a bit pricey but I think this is deliberate as they dont want people getting smashed by the pool which I'm totally OK with.
Staff are all super friendly, shop is well stocked and staffed.
The only thing preventing a full 5 star is the food. We had the buffet dinner on the first night as we were all exhausted and wanted something quick and not far away and an early night. We were one of the first through the door at 6.30 and the food was lukewarm at best. It was really unpleasant. I left my first plate of pasta and chicken milanese and had salad and cold meats instead. Bread provided was stale.
