Hyde Park Lane

Bungalows were so spacious and really clean! We loved being beside the quiet pool as it was so relaxing and then moving to the hot tub at the busier pool some days for a change. The breakfast had lots of choice and we really enjoyed it. The hotel had a shop on site with a coffee machine priced at only 70 cents per coffee which was amazing. It was close to the strip and beach so great location. However, the aircon in our room was not great, especially during hot nights. Reception sent a man to fix it twice and it made no real difference. They said they would have a better look at it once we left which didn’t help. We would 100% recommend lance from rent it quick lanzorate as he hires out air con units for €50 per week. The hotel only changes your pool towels once a week and weren’t overly happy for us to pay extra to get them changed more regularly so we had to buy more towels once the strip to make do for the week. Noise level was fine as we were situated across the street, however, I think if you were staying near the main pool/reception, you may have struggled with the noise of the entertainment in the evening as it’s very close but no complaints from where our room was. The hotel did leave wine and a birthday card in our room which was a lovely touch. How clean the hotel was would make us come back

What a wonderful place. So clean great air con and friendly staff. We stayed in room 122 for 2 weeks 2 adults and two children. Plenty of space but definately take extra hangers ( we bought travel ones with us) entertainment by way of a singers or group every night. Kids club on 5 days a week huge thank you to David aka Mr Potato head he was just wonderful with our kids! 5pm kids mini disco at the pool they loved it! Fed the wild paraqueets was just amazing. Our kids love David! Jerry the entertainment guy was fab! So much energy really good guy. You are looking at €4 for a pint at the pool bar and around €13 euros for a pizza. Laundrette by the shop is €4 and you can buy laundry pods in the shop for €1.20 a pod. Pools were great as was the hot tub. Breakfast €12 and kids eat free it was very nice lots of choice. 10 min walk to start of PDC strip around €3 to €4 euros back in a taxi. Around 10-15 min walk down to los piccolos and if you want to brave the heat about a further 20 mins onto matagorda. We walk to Rancho texas park mostly pavement but on very uneven part so we got taxi back for €3. Rooms cleaned every other day. Stray cats were adorable they are very well looked after by the hotel. There is a charity shop onsite and all proceeds go to feeding the cats. Location is a little far out but that didnt bother us. We will definately be back. Thank you HPL! X

Staying here now and although the rooms are lovely and clean and AC is fantastic. Its let down by the extremely loud music being played by the pool pretty much every day, we love music and have music on at home all.the time, but when you can't even talk to each when sitting right next to each other, because you can't hear the other person speak its too much! It doesn't seem like anyone much else is enjoying it too, there is lots of people eye rolling and tutting when it starts, there is a quiet pool, but its always fully taken up and I suppose this is why.
