The comfortable apartment hotel Blue Sea Los Fiscos is conveniently situated in a quiet area of the popular holiday resort of Puerto del Carmen on the island of Lanzarote. It has typical Canarian style architecture and offers guests a lovely terrace with marvellous sea views and an outdoor pool. Numerous shops, restaurants and bars can be reached within a few minutes' walk; the beautiful sandy beach Playa Grande is just a short stroll away. This is a great place for couples and families with children to spend a holiday under the sun. Free Wifi all areas.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We been at the hotel had try at the photo booth mirror and is absolutely fantastic rami is very approachable person and very friendly
Rami was very good took a picture until it was perfect very professional and had a smile on his face all the time thanks picture quality is very good aswell ..
Just back from Los Fiscos. Ignore the rubbish reviews. Super value for money!! Great location just up the hill from the old town. Plenty of food and varied, something for everyone. Basic room but with a fantastic view of pool and sea, cleaners in every other day and pool area washed down daily. Cant really fault it for what we paid. Would definitely go back.
This hotel is probably the most basic hotel I've ever stopped at. It is very run down no rooms with Aircon, broken tiles, very very low budget feels! The snack bar is not a snack bar at all it is a little hit that has the most miserable staff serving nachos with cheese sauce that's it oh and stale bread. Literally nothing else. The cocktails are not cocktails at all they are from a machine dispenser and you can only have one kind which is what they choose as cocktail of the day!
All inclusive food is edible but again basic majority of staff are lovely
Pool is small we have been here a week and no entertainment at all
No onsite shop just vending machines that work as and when
Noisy all the time the walls are paper think the windows don't shut properly the shower is hot and cold no constant temp
We found sweets in our bed settee so hadn't been cleaned properly
Other than that no other complaints
I had read some of the comments about the dated décor before arriving, but that honestly didn't put me off. A hotel doesn't have to be modern or luxurious for me to enjoy my stay, good service, enjoyable food and cleanliness matter far more.
Sadly, it was the service that let this hotel down. After taking a shower, the bathroom floor became completely soaked because the shower curtain allowed water to drip all over the floor. I reported the issue to reception and asked if I could borrow a mop. I was told that housekeeping would come and deal with it, but no one ever arrived. In the end, I had no choice but to use the spare towels to dry the floor myself.
Later, I asked housekeeping for replacement towels, and although they agreed to bring some, they never did. These may seem like small issues individually, but together they made the stay frustrating and gave the impression that guest concerns weren't being followed up.
The receptionist on arrival also came across as abrupt and didn't offer the basic friendliness or welcoming attitude you'd expect when checking into a hotel.
I do want to acknowledge the dining hall staff, who worked incredibly hard. They were constantly cleaning and clearing tables efficiently, and their efforts were noticeable. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing, with most meals lacking flavour.
Another issue was the bathroom, which had a persistent mouldy smell throughout our stay. While it wasn't unbearable, it certainly made the overall experience less pleasant.
It's disappointing because I really wanted to enjoy this hotel and wasn't concerned about its appearance. However, the lack of attention to guest requests, the poor service, and the maintenance issues left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, I can't recommend staying here
