Animation Team Five stars!
This was our 3rd visit to this hotel travelling with two kids, ages 8 and 3.
Main reasons for returning were the location, the quietness of the area and the animation team who do a fantastic job with the kids club and the entertainment around the pool, especially Andrea who our daughter loves and we've got to know in the last visits. The team create a great atmosphere around the pool with various activities for adults and kids, the club dance and aqua gym being our favourites.
The hotel itself is huge and located right on the beach, a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport and few minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants. The building does look a bit tired in places but the rooms are comfortable, clean and have everything needed including a fridge, safe and kettle. The cleaners come daily with fresh towels, bed sheets etc and helped us out with various requests. The reception staff are also always friendly and helpful. No complaints at all.
The food is your standard all inclusive buffet so there is a large selection and generally something for everyone. They also have a burger bar, Chinese and Italian restaurants on site but these are only open a few days a week.
The pool area is great. 3 pools in total, the main pool which is nicely heated, a second large unheated pool and a small kids pool. We never struggled to get a sun lounger no matter the time of day. The pool bar is open from 10 through to 6, with drinks, pastry snacks and sandwiches. They also have the pool side buffet which opens at lunch, meaning you don't have to walk to the main restaurant.
The night time entertainment starts at 20:30 with the animation team's mini disco for the kids which lasts about half an hour. Our kids loved this every night!! After that, they have the main acts for the whole family. The acts differ each night and can be hit and miss. We loved the karaoke night with DJ Ellis, he is a great entertainer!
Overall, another great stay for us. It's not a 5 star hotel and doesn't pretend to be. I can appreciate the mixed reviews but for what you pay, its great value and perfect if, like us, you have young kids. Thanks to animation team again, they do an brilliant job!!!
Good hotel for families
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily, we were in room 2051, only small issue was we had no mirrors unless in the bathroom. Aircon was really good and so was the wifi signal. The TV had English channels which was a massive bonus as i am a poor sleeper on holiday.. The food was fine, always could find something to eat but if we were staying longer than a week it would get very repetitive. Ate in the Italian restaurant one evening and it was really nice. The burger bar was good also. An idea for improvement would be maybe to offer fresh omelettes at breakfast. Pools were great but kids got a bit board toward the end of the week as they were not allowed any balls or floats in the pool, very strict on this :( Entertainment was just your norm but watchable. Drinks were not branded and very strong tasting. Cocktails are from a machine, they were ok but very acidic. The sports bar served freshly prepared cocktails but the staff were not that knowledgeable with regard to the ingredients. Found it odd that you had to pay for drinks at the sports bar when it was right in the center of the hotel, although if you were all inclusive you did get a discount. Location was great, super close to the airport and across from a beautiful beach and a short stroll to shops. All in all a good hotel but more a 3 star than a4 star.

No more long trips from airport to hotel.
5 minutes taxi from the airport or an hour's wait for the TUI bus, food is nice, for us oldies we need bran and chia/sunflower seeds to keep things working. Pools are great for the kids and adults. No hot drinks at dinner, we like a tea or coffee with an evening meal. Staff are top notch. 10€ deposit on sunbed towels, but a 2€ charge for towel exchange is a bit unusual. You will enjoy your stay here,it is so large and airy it takes a while to find your way around. There is a Spar 15 minutes walk away, but no pharmacy there in the shopping centre. The beach is one minute away and a large public playground.
Rude staff
Huge hotel but found staff rude and gave the impression they were doing you a favour found one member of staff in buffet restaurant happy and polite ,having to pay for a cup to get your drinks very strange never located ice-creams we were all inclusive so had to pay for ice-creams ,snacks again not clearly showed where they were so didnt have any .one member of reception gave taxi firm wrong room number which resulted in a very rude driver arguing with us we had to have 2 taxi as apparently 6 heaters were unavailable we were charged different prices.Have been to lanzarote many many times and stayed in loads of hotels so sadly this hotel could be great although rooms need updating the actual staff need training on how to speak to people .oh the photographer guys were great happy ,and brilliant.

After visiting Lanzarote for the first time and staying at Hotel Beatriz & Spa, we’re so glad we chose this hotel.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were lovely and gave us a simple but informative breakdown of the hotel. They also helped us navigate our way around, which was much appreciated as the hotel is absolutely huge.
We arrived very late at night, and food was waiting for us on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch after a long journey.
Our first day started with breakfast, which offered a great variety of hot buffet food, as well as breads, meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries.
The pool was beautiful and kept immaculate. The staff clearly took pride in making sure there was space for all families to relax. We spent the day by the pool enjoying drinks and ice lollies, and there were always plenty of staff around. The children’s pool was fantastic, allowing parents to keep an eye on their little ones while still being able to relax.
The mini golf and small play park were clean and tidy, with plenty of activities available, including games rooms and beautiful gardens to enjoy when you wanted to escape the sun for a while.
Dinner offered a lovely, fresh selection each evening. Although it was a little repetitive, there was something for everyone, from chicken and vegetables to pizzas, pasta and plenty of delicious desserts.
The only downfall, and my only criticism, is the half-board system. We were more than happy to pay for drinks with our dinner, but having the drinks menu taken away almost felt like a punishment for not being all-inclusive.
Unfortunately, we were interrupted during our meal by one member of staff, a small blonde lady, who raised her voice to tell us we had to pay for the fizzy drink my little one had. I was completely aware that drinks weren’t included and had every intention of paying. Being interrupted mid-meal over a few euros, after spending so much to stay here, felt unnecessary and quite rude.
Perhaps introducing a different coloured wristband for half-board guests would help staff identify guests more easily and avoid situations like this. It would make the experience feel much more welcoming.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful, the views are breathtaking, the area feels very safe for children, and the cleanliness throughout was exceptional.
We’re already looking to book again because the good far outweighed the bad.
