Aequora Lanzarote Suites

We have been visiting the hotel every few years from 2017. I absolutely love it here, the staff are so welcoming, the hotel is well laid out and kept very clean. However, we have started to notice that some of the walk ways are in need of a repair, and some of the paint work needs updating - this certainly would not stop us visiting again which we looking to do next year. There are a couple of issues that we need to raise though. The sun loungers, there are signs around the pools and hotel literature that state 'sun loungers are not to be reserved and towels will be removed before 10am'. The last week of June, this was not a problem and you could always get a sun lounger before 10. However, our last week and sorry to say it seems when there is more Irish and English, you were lucky to get see a vacant one by 8.30...which the hotel did not remove, so for the last few days of our holiday we ended up going to the beach and paying for them. Why have signs if action is not being taken. Secondly, the entertainment was good, albeit the French animation team seemed to be alot more attentive to the French, but the rest of the animation team not so with any other nationality. Also, I do think they need to look at something for teens up to 18 years, whether this is some kind of introduction meeting, disco. There are quite a few teens who are on their own and this would help them meet.

Just back from a weeks All Inclusive holiday at Aequora and had a lovely time. Staff all so lovely and welcoming, the entertaintment team are great and work so hard! Food was really nice, good variety and always very fresh, really like the table service at lunch and dinner where a waiter took our drinks order. This was always done as soon as we sat down and was great service. The alcoholic drinks on all inclusive we found fine, nice wines and beer which suited us. Breakfast was always good too with fresh food daily, and although the hotel was getting busier as our week went on this didnt impact the service within the resteraunt atall. Always greeted with a smile and never had to wait for anything.

The pools around the hotel are all great and never too busy, we always got sun loungers no problem at any time of the day, however if u wanted one in the shade this could be more difficult as they were taken up most of the time. Would be nice to have some parasoles as an option to put up. If im being picky I would say that the loungers can be tightly packed in together and some are very close to the water (around the shallow pool) but we could easily move them to suit us as a family of four. The main pool near the bar/snack bar always had a great atmospehere with music and different daily activities held to suit all ages. Both our kids really enjoyed the foam party which was held at the splash pad, but other than that we didnt use it as found the rubber flooring of it quite slippy, would have been so much better if this was a shallow pool in my opinion. My kids didnt use kids club but went to the mini disco most nights which they really enjoyed.

Our room was lovely, clean and modern. I liked that our kids had their own space and TV in their room for some wind down time. The bathroom is pretty exposed which didnt actually bother us atall but may not be for everyone. The mini bar cooler in the kids room was handy but would have been great if this was a proper fridge to store things like milk etc. Our rooms were cleaned daily by the lovely cleaners who were so nice and friendly. Air con in the room worked perfectly and was lovely to come into after a day of being in the hot sun.

Our kids really enjoyed each of the evening entertainment acts and was a great mix to suit everyone. The bar area in the entertainment can get quite busy but we didnt mind waiting and the two bartenders work hard to get the queues down quickly.

The area of the hotel is great as just a short 5 minute walk to the small town of Los Pocillos which is lovely, right on the beach front. Beach is huge and really nice, very easy to get loungers on too and not overpacked. Town has the usually holiday shops, some nice bars and resteraunts and places you can hire bikes, it is clean and well kept. There is also a great big play park just about 10minutes along the promenade that our kids loved! We hired a family bike and cycled along to the playpark and then to the end of the promenade to see the planes landing. We also visited Rancho Texas Park which is really close to hotel (less than 10minutes in taxi) and was a great day out- zoo with a waterpark which we all loved. Hotel is also only 10minutes taxi to Puerto Del Carmen town also. Our transfer from airport to hotel took around 15minutes with Jet2 and we were the third stop on the bus so very quick and easy.

All in all we had an amazing time here, the hotel is beautiful, really well kept and modern. There are lots of nice seating areas dotted around the hotel and nice bars with outdoor seating near reception. We look forward to returning one day as we had the best time!

PERFECT stay! :-) Thank you. All was amazing: large, clean and comfortable bedroom, very nice and professional shows in the evening (the theme on that night was : Magic of India ✨️🥰), food is so delicious, fresh buffet and variety, great animations in the evening ("white night"). Perfect location: just a few minutes walk from a large and clean beach, many restaurants and shops around. To get there (no hotel shuttle) you can either book a taxi from Playa Blanca (about 30 minutes I would say, or take a bus (a little longer ride). I believe is pretty close from the Lanzarote Airport also! 👍 Also they have a huge parking lot if you decide to rent a car. The very best💫 : it is a family hotel but it suits as well very well for adults who are looking for quiet as I did! : it is a huge hotel complex (perfectly organized, structured, and directed!) and some of the areas (such as a swimming pool, a bar, etc.) are especially designed for Adults Only!! I had booked half board (so got dinner and breakfast the next day). A special Thank you to ANGEL at the reception and ESTHER and the Sanus Wellness and Massage Center, for being so welcoming, helpful and kind! ❤️ They do everything they can to make you stay the BEST ever! Only one regret, I wish I could stay longer! ^^ and I hope to be back! 💯 😉
