A delightful hotel
This was a return visit for us and we were just as impressed. The hotel, grounds, staff, suites and restaurants were all fabulous . The decor in the rooms and hotel itself are first class and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The beds are comfortable with the rooms spotlessly clean, aired and fresh smelling but best of all, absolutely silent at night . The meals are superb. Wide choice, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Sadly this is spoilt by cold plates causing the food to be cold on returning to your table as it is a buffet style restaurant. I have brought this to the attention of the management on both of our visits to no avail. . The pools are lovely and testing of the water for cleanliness and bacteria is apparent during the day . Clean towels are always available. A few more parasols would be an advantage. During our visit this year it was very annoying that preferential seating around the pool was reserved for “invalids” who were no more invalided than other guests ,the majority of which are over 60 at that time of year.if you were in a seat that was wanted by a disabled person and their family you were asked to move.It appeared you only had to say you had a disability and you were given the pick of the sun loungers ( if we go again next year we will do the same) . Transfer from and to the airport i s now not by private hire but in a coach which filled us with dread when we got on a 56 seater . However as the hotel is 5 star guests are dropped off at the first 3 stops. We would go again but there would need to be some changes regarding “invalids “ and cold plates
amazing hotel
this hotel is the best i have stayed in ever , we keep returning dont want to go anywhere else it is so good. i cannot find any faults with any part of the hotel and the whole experience is amazing. would recommend to anyone
Disappointing customer service
We are currently at the hotel, 5 star? I don’t think so, firstly we were put I a suite with sea view and balcony ( paid extra for this) we were woken by the most horrendous noise of the entertainment in the lobby, they just have well been in our room! We did get moved the following day but on arrival within 15 minutes the electric had tripped! Someone came and my husband explained it was the air conditioning, they managed to get the electric back on but it didn’t last, in the night the floor was soaking wet and the electric tripped again! We have contacted reception 3 times, still nobody had come to sort the problem, as far as they’re concerned we’re sitting in the dark! Definitely not acceptable for a 5 star hotel, I would not recommend.

Perfect week at Pricess Yaiza
We spent a wonderful week at Princess Yaiza. The staff are very professional and made us feel very welcome. The facilities are second-to-none in terms of choice, spaciousness, cleanliness and service. Our room was immaculate and we enjoyed the views from our balcony over the swimming pools to the beautiful sandy beach (right opposite the hotel), and harbour, and across the sea to Fuerteventura. Highlights of our trip were breakfast in the hotel's 'Isla de Lobos' restaurant and a visit to the thalasso centre.
Excellent once again
We stayed here mid September for just over 2 weeks. From the moment we arrived until our departure we felt relaxed, well looked after, well fed and very comfortable in our suite. The staff are excellent, the hotel is well looked after and nothing is too much trouble.. Housekeeping work so hard and our room/bed was very comfortable and we had an excellent nights sleep every day. Until next year, thank you for everything and a very enjoyable holiday.
