no entertainment in the day like advertised. nothing at all round the pool. chose this hotel over others nearby and hasn't got what advertised.
So upon arrival which was around 10pm we were greeted by the receptionist who in my opinion didn’t look like she wanted to be at work. Checked in and given a lot of info to digest in a short time period and told on a map where our room was. Told to come back at 11pm for “cold buffet” if we wanted to eat. Off we went looking for our room in the dark. We went back and told not the cold buffet wasn’t ready but eventually after going back again it was literally ham or cheese and some bread rolls.
The info pack was a A4 piece of paper which was just full of so much info and very misleading as well. Summary Time of dining - Positive Bar opening times - Positive Check out info - negative. Says check out is 12 and then all inclusive ends. After checking the next day this is incorrect you can use dining and drinks etc until you leave. Expect to pay €1 per plastic cup for drinks at the pool bar. You keep your cup all the time on holiday and return at the end to get money back. Towels are the same you pay to use them but we didn’t we brought our own.
No day time entertainment provided. Now I was expecting a foam party or anything massive like that but it made a difference just having another guest bringing out a Bluetooth speaker to play some background music during the day and everyone commented on this. Evening entertainment well we only stayed for one of them and I have no words to describe it it was as cheesy as cheesy can be. So be prepared to bring a pack of card or something to entertain yourselves with.
Pool area could do with a good tidy up. A lot of broken tiles on the floor around the whole place. Had no issues getting a sun bed even when coming to the pool in the afternoon. Pool very cold in the morning but by mid afternoon you didn’t care what temperature it was as it was nice to cool down in.
Room was ok for what it is. Nice little semi detached bungalows. Lack of maintenance of things like taps being wonky, sink had a crack in across it, toilet moved on the floor, shower screen leaked and made bathroom floor very wet. Could see day light around the main entrance door which just defeated the object of the air con only works when all doors are closed. Beds are literally like sleeping on concrete blocks. It was my wife’s birthday on arrival so room was decorated with balloons, 4 small chocolate and a bottle of fizz.
Food was ok for the size of the place. A lot of repetitive foods with a fish or meat special in the evenings. Pizza was on offer both at lunch and evening.
Local shops are a good walk away and it’s definitely missing this for extra snacks you may want.
Overall not a 4 star hotel, it’s definitely only a 3 star.
We had a great time with the 360 kamera yesterday!
the hotel overall is very good and deserves 4 stars but one member of staff ruins it. rafaella works in reception and is extremely rude. She makes us feel very unwelcome, starting from the first day we got here. (mind you we stayed 10 days.) She’s extremely judgemental and just waves her hand in your face if you try to speak to her. apart from her it is lovely xxxxxx
Rooms very clean, great air con. Pool area nice, always sunbeds available although pool bar needs a bit attention on loose flooring etc for flip flops etc Staff were lovely, special mention to Maria who was so lovely, great Guest Service Manager too, however Rafella on reception really let team down, she was consistently rude, couldn't care attitude, we asked on 3 occasions re taxi, nearby market etc nothing too stressful but her manner was ignorant and she needs to be aware that although Scottish..I do speak fluent Italian and some Spanish so understood her moans and groans... I did pass these comments over on departure. However she did not ruin holiday, food was great, especially breakfast, will definitely return xx
