Food needs improvement
Just come back from 4 days with my teen. Really warm welcome when we checked in, we were early but were told we could use all the facilities and grab lunch.
The hotel is really clean and pretty modern, couldn’t fault the room at all however would have been handy to have the sofa bed made up - possibly my fault for not asking when we checked in. Maids worked really hard every day and staff always visible. Restaurant staff and bar staff were all brilliant too.
Location is great, peaceful enough and only a short walk in to playa blanca - could do with a small shop on site though.
My only criticism is the standard of the food - having stayed all inclusive a lot in other countries this could be so much better. Yes, there’s a fair amount of choice but none of it is actually that good - chips are the easiest things to cook but were cold and soggy/undercooked. Most other main hot food was either deep fried or cooked to death and none of it was very hot. I get that there are a lot of nationalities to cater for but focus on a different theme each day and do it well. Perfect example is watercress salad that had absolutely no watercress in it - was basically shredded lettuce and cabbage with some sliced cucumber thrown in. The teen will eat anything normally but he lived on chips every day and we gave up on our last night and went out.
Breakfast was ok but if you arrive after 9.30 things are running out and they don’t replenish them - had to ask for butter for toast every morning and you’ve got a choice of diet jam or diet jam to put on it.
Yes I’d probably stay here again but wouldn’t bother with the all inclusive option.

Enjoyed staying again.
Lovely rooms and a beautiful site well kept and clean. We had stayed here last year and the food was amazing due to a fantastic chef. This year the food was just okay.wine and beer very good price. Reception staff were all friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff also really friendly and smiley but not good at changing sheets when requested or at topping up tea and coffee. Restaurant staff were mixed, some really nice others indifferent. Overall good value for money. Great to have loungers on patio.
