H10 Rubicon Palace

Negatives: Ana Bassera at the pool consierge removed my towels from the pool which I left in the morning pegged to the beds for my family of 4. I intended to come to the pool sooner but my daughter had a medical emergency and we were not able to get there until 1pm only to find our beds were taken and on enquiry she said ‘you are not allowed to reserve beds’. I explained we had had a medical emergency as my daughter who just had surgery 7 weeks ago required a doctor. No assistance given to help us find alternative beds and literally everyone here reserved beds- many were still unoccupied with towels on. This just ruined my day further after a stressful morning, I was coming to relax. Other complaints include, why can you not take cold coffee away and why is there no tea and coffee available in restaurants other than at breakfast? Main pools are all unheated and cold. Only heated pool is for privilege guests or baby pool. As vegan I would appreciate more plant based protein options - like avocardo or hummus or curried lentils/ chickpeas. There are also not enough toilets in the public areas such as outside restaurant - only 2 cubicles, and these 2 toilets not cleaned frequently enough for the thousands of guests and children unattended making mess. Specialty restaurant unavailable during our stay. Positives: beautiful hotel, very nice accommodation and hotel grounds. Food was good. Breakfast was brilliant. Drinks are premium brands.beach 5min away 5 euros in cab. Entertainment good. Mini golf, clean, large grounds, nice views, snack bar in main pool with tortilla and guacamole and plenty of drinks, including slushies, deserts and salads always good. Loved the Prosecco on arrival and at every meal including breakfast (if all inclusive) and golf buggy train with luggage. WiFi isn’t great hense I cannot upload photos here or stream. Tips you need lots of towel pegs as very windy esp at main pool, must be a wind tunnel . And download everything you want to watch before you come.

arrived on 20th of July with my husband,,daughter and two young grandchildren (age 4 and 8) we were quickly checked in and sent to the restaurant for an evening meal We were then taken by a buggy to our requested adjoining rooms overlooking the sea The next morning we all went to breakfast ate too much — great choice and then made our way to the children’s pool where everyone was having a great fun time with excellent SOS men on patrol keeping a good eye on everyone We paid for all inclusive so we’re able to drink unlimited drinks and eat snacks all day as well as enjoying lunch and evening meal if you so wished. The hotel is quite a distance to walk with children to the harbour and marina but we were happy to stay in the pool all day and the children looked forward to the mini disco every evening. we stayed 6 nights and are looking forward to our next visit in 3 weeks time when we can do it all again !!! There is a new adults section recently opened with its own pool and restaurant we may try this one day when we don’t have the children with us as the whole hotel is beautiful and i would imagine out of school holidays it would be even more amazing thank you H10 for giving us a memory filled holiday A big thank you to Therese for sorting out our admin before our arrival

This was a return visit I have been to this brilliant hotel many times over the years and will continue to return. Great helpful staff and lovely food and drinks. Was greeted in a lovely fashion as always with clean wash towels and glasses of cold cava. The reception staff was brilliant and quickly allocated me a different room that better suited the needs of my family. For this we was very grateful and appreciative but have never been let down by the great team at the rubicon so didn’t expect anything different. Me and my family had a brilliant holiday so Thankyou all at Rubicon palace we look forward to our next visit.
