This is our second trip this year to same hotel. On arrival we got there about 9.30pm and as we checked in we was offered to go down and have some food. Reception staff very polite, throughout our stay nothing was ever to much for them. Room was clean and balcony. Housekeeping always left our room lovely even down to laying your pjs out on the bed as mine was always left in bathroom lol . Food was a bit of a hit and miss for me only at dinner time as im no lover off fish or rabbit etc so wasn't a great option that evening so had desert instead which of course was always lovely, But overall food was nice, cooked from fresh same as breakfast lots of fruit and yoghurt options as well. We Love the location, beach and shops and marina were only a really short walk away. Entertainment was good and also finished at around 11pm. So people could get to sleep. Staff worked hard always polite, the only down side that we noticed was the life guard, just sat under the tree in the shade all day, never a walk round to make sure people was safe in the pool, to busy on her phone, and there was quite alot of people in the pool just a walk round or maybe sit in the shade where they can see the pool would be good. Entertainment staff was good got people up and done activities which was nice. Check out wasn't till 12pm but as we came down early they let us put our bags in a holdall room so we could go to the beach for some off the day, came back and go a shower room so we could get ready to go to the airport. Rooms where free off charge as well. So on the hole, hotel good clean and friendly, we definitely be returning ☺️
This hotel is not 4* The rooms are dirty, we arrived to pubic hair on the floor, rust on the sink, broken shower head, mould around the shower sealant and out of date milk/creme for coffees. The pool also has a dirty rim around the top indicating lack of cleanliness 🤢 The food quality is diabolical, cold items are not kept cold, flies on the fruits. Foods are left out until a guest has eaten the last scrap until it is replaced (thats if the flies haven’t eaten it first or its stone cold). One of us ended up with diarrhoea which has ruined our holiday completely. This is the first time a hotel has ever brought me to write a review and unfortunately not a favourable one!
For the price of this hotel - avoid!
Unfortunately it has put us off Lanzarote
We stayed at the H10 Lanzarote Princess back in January the 12th this year for 2 weeks although the weather was really bad ( very bad wind) on arrival at first they gave us a room that was far to much for us to walk it was un suitable and outside the main reception building where we wanted to be, we had to sleep over night in that room until they moved us to the main building the next day to room 1080 with a ( walk in shower) that was what we had requested and we then had a wonderful 2weeks holiday. As myself and my husband are disabled it was lovely to have found a hotel that we loved and decided to book again for the 1st of September for 2weeks again. On arrival our coach arrived late in the evening, the receptionist told us the room we had requested from our last visit was being re-renovated so we were given room 1109 which was really to very far away for me to walk. The receptionist was adamant that we had to take the room as she was waiting to finish duty to go home. She then brought a wheelchair out and told me to sit in it. After i refused several times, I eventually got into it, she proceeded to push me all the long way to 1109 with me still saying it was too far. my husband who’s also disabled said to her he would not be able to push me, to which she replied, she can always push herself my husband thought that was very rude the way I was treated was disgusting. And again we slept over night in there. The following morning as a last resort we accepted 2071 in the main building which has ( Bath /shower) the balcony is really non existing it’s so small. We are still here at the moment and making the most of the situation for the remainder of our holiday. The thing that’s is most upsetting is we have already booked for 2 weeks holiday here in January 2027 we are now seriously wondering whether to cancel or not??
We are frequent guest at the Lanzarote Princess spending 6 - 8 weeks each year there. The location, being 200 metres from the excellent Dorada beach and 5 mins walk to the old town and 15 to the Rubicon Marina along the wonderful promenade could not be better. The facilities and excellent staff make for a relaxing and great holiday in the sun. The staff could not be more friendly and welcoming with a good mix of experience and youth. Special mentions go to Isabel and Simona who in guest services were fantastic. A special mention to for the 'big guy' who looks after the pools and leads the way for the team who tend to the outdoor facilities. He has been at the Princess since the mid 80's when it first opened. Weldone to you all and see you soon
Rooms are decent we stayed in 1100 and 1098, nice showers!. These have view to tennis courts and sea. It is a great place to stay. Good size pools, not too busy with sunloungers.. landscape is lovely. Has a great cafe, snack bar good. Restaurant should expand its veggie section. And it gets a bit same same.Close to the beach 3 min walk.. and yes we went in last week of Aug and water is turquoise. Its windy but not too much. Cleaners and waiters all great. Mum loved it, kids loved it..I thought overall.. a great stay..
