Great Family Hotel Stay
The Lanzarote Princess is a lovely hotel with some great facilities and entertainment for all the family We were a party of 13 this year and the hotel did a wonderful job in making all of us feel special - the children and grandchildren especially had a great time - breakfast and evening buffet had more than enough choices, the pools were great and the evening entertainment built around the kids mini disco and family participation was lovely to watch !

I really wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews on here and was expecting something awful but we really struggled to dislike anything about this hotel and had a great stay.
Check in started with a friendly welcome from Alberto (who never stopped smiling during our stay) and food/drinks offered after a late flight. The room was basic but clean (we booked a double) for 2 adults and a teenager. It had three single beds which were really comfortable and we had one wardrobe and a few drawers to share )which was a struggle and room definitely could have fitted more in and the space utilised better eg:swap bedside tables for ones with shelves or drawers. There was a full length mirror but hardly any plug sockets so take an extension if you need to plug in lots of appliances. The balcony was huge and the bathroom was decent with a bath and shower. Hairdryer available which was as good as my own. It was a nice touch having all toiletries provided right down to toothbrushes so no need to pack all the extras. A plus for us was air conditioning, black out curtains and the room was cleaned every day with beds made and fresh towels. Access was via a wristband rather than key or card.
The pool area is lovely and there was never a rush for sunbeds with many still available after 10am (during UK school holidays). The sunbeds were good quality with a range of positions available and easy to move. Hotel pool towels were available if you wanted them. The pool itself was freezing with a pirate ship /slide for younger kids. No inflatables allowed but you could play ball games. During the day, there was music on which we liked and the animation team had a busy programme on if you wanted to get involved. There's also crazy golf and boules at no charge.
The all inclusive is brilliant - branded drinks included and they're generous with the measures. Drinks are served in hard plastic recyclable glasses (rather than paper) and mojitos in the coco loco bar were a favourite during the day. The beer served was Estrella. Special mention to Lorena who provided drinks during the day with a smile and a chat- she had two days off during our stay and we noticed a difference and a much longer wait to get served! The cactus bar served a range of daytime snacks such as burgers/chips/nachos/mr whippy style ice cream etc and whilst it did get busy, they got through the orders quickly most of the time.
Breakfast was good - a big range of food including English bacon, sausages, hash browns etc or made to order eggs and omelettes with a choice of fillings. Also fruit, smoothies, cereals etc. We enjoyed dinner most nights - especially the steaks off the grill, paella and the pasta dishes. Our teen is a fussy/plain eater and never went hungry with pasta, rice, potatoes, selection of breads available with every meal.
The thing that lets this hotel down is the entertainment. There's 2 options, one on a tiny stage outside where's there just two rows of seats and a few standing tables. The acts on in the bar upstairs were varied and enjoyable but we didn't necessarily want to be inside on our holiday. The atmosphere in here is good though with the staff working non stop and drinks are available until 1230.
At reception, there's a book swap available with a varied selection available. There's a small shop inside the hotel (gifts, poolside toys, clothes, jewellery). Theres a supermarket directly opposite the back gate and plenty of other shops/bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Overall the hotel was clean, well maintained - we had no complaints and had an enjoyable 11 night stay. Not sure if we'll return to Playa Blanca but if we did, would stay here again. We'd definitely book a H10 hotel in an alternative location.

Very goid
H10 are a premium brand and this hotel is up there with service and quality. The hotel itself is getting tired and needs a refurb, which I believe is happening, All inclusive is quality with premium drinks always available, food is good quality with plenty choices. It does get busy so expect some queues when waiting at fresh cooking area( nothing outrageous) . Rooms are clean and the cleaning staff are superb. The outside area has ample sunbeds so no mad morning rushing was seen. One small criticism would be the lack of seating areas if you are a smoker or just want to take a drink at a table area. Staff are amazing from reception to dining and bars. Unfortunately witnessed an aggressive drunk Englishman kicking off but this was dealt with quickly and local police were on scene swiftly to sort the guy out. Special mention to Jesus( hope that’s correctly spelt) in the bar area, this lad is a credit to the hotel, possibly the most polite friendly barman I’ve come across.

Really good holiday
Location of the hotel was excellent as you can just come out the hotel and walk across the road and your in town Atmosphere was nice and airy and also calming in the hotel. The rooms needs to be updated but on a whole they were nice and comfortable and was cleaned regularly. It was good value as we went all inclusive and all the drinks and food was included.
The Noise was fine as we were on the second floor and didn't really notice any disturbances.
Service was amazing and wanted to give a big shout out to Mar,Brahim and Annetta who were lovely,friendly and gave fantastic customer service.
We are all happy to do a return visit to the Lanzarote Princess.
Not the best experiance
Location ok tho Rubbish all over.on arrival checking in took ages. And they was only a party of 7. Good job it was only us off the bus. Greated with orange or apple juice .no water or plonc for those who req it. We asumed that we had a 2 bed room as we had a 10 year old girl with us.to be told that our £400 more to upgrade was just..just slightly bigger room .Not 2 bedroom. Asked to pay for an upgrade again...another £180 but no rooms available....??? Corridors to rooms are tatty on old looking...ground floor 004. Tiny lift2 people 3 cases. First day sat 18th.Food was the worst ive ever had....dropped food on the resturant floor was just left.staff walked round it. Food cold and having to wait For plates reqular. Main meals hit and miss. If you like something nice this aint the 1. Beds wa comfy ,tho not ideal with a 10 year old in same room. Breakfast was good ,tho waiting For different items to make the breakfast up.. Wont return .my opinion 3 star at best. Nothing organised for 6 to 15 year olds at night. Very disapointed. The back gate to the front could do with a damper on before someone gets a broken limb....windy all the time ..GATE SLAMMING SHUT AND HEAVY. MAIDS WERE POLIYE AND CERY GOOD... FELT THE STAFF IN EECEPTION DID NOT CARE.
