Came here 12 years ago and was one of best holidays I’ve had in 32 years of travelling but now apart from the rooms being large it’s been terrible we had no air con for a week gave us fans instead the pool was filthy full of sand and black bits need sucking out not enough staff on queuing at the only bar no where for adults in the evening only with kids running around kids disco was on till 10.30 on a Saturday night!! Had to drink in plastic cups cos of all kids running about bar staff told usThe entertainment most nights was the reps in the day time they did too many games that went on forever other people would like to use the pool too bang average food with same choice everyday tui have run this place down but charge more if you want a good holiday without loads of kids running about all evening go somewhere else and spent money on place it used to be good here !!
Went here on a last minute holiday and it was a great deal. We found the food to be really good and lots of options. Plenty of space by the pools and sunbeds. Staff were helpful and some entertainment all day, great for kids. The rooms were a little tired and could use some work. For the price we paid we couldn’t complain and had a very enjoyable time
We returned to this hotel after a really positive experience last year with the kids club and on the basis of TUI’s claims that staff have neurodiversity training. Our autistic children were included and supported on our first visit. Unfortunately this was not the case this year.
Our son was sent away from the kids club after an hour (vague reasons given about not being able to communicate with him and him taking a toy from another child), no effort made to support him or communicate with him. He is in mainstream education and can community very well if people give him direct instructions which I explained to the staff. He was treated as a nuisance at the kids disco and when he tried to participate in other activities such as the TUI Bot pool walk round. The final straw was when a member of staff grabbed him by the wrist when he approach the TUI Bot.
I raised my concerns with the rep at the hotel, TUI customer services during and after the trip. It was not taken at all seriously. Posting for the awareness of other SEN parents.
We booked this as a last minute week away 1st -8th July, and I’m delighted that we did. It was fantastic from start to finish, room was spacious, clean and we had a sea view. Air con was on all day on a low setting but it was just right after a hot day. Food I would definitely give 10/10, lots of variety, absolutely delicious. Staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. We had the complimentary meal at the Taverna which was amazing, just be very hungry when you visit as the portions are very generous. Drinks were also of excellent quality and for most you serve yourself, we thought the evening entertainment was very good with some fantastic entertainers. I would definitely recommend Tui blue Flamingo Beach because it’s unbeatable!
Just spent 11 nights at this hotel which was booked through tui for 10 people ages from 16-50. The hotel was always well kept with rooms cleaned 5/7 days. Never a struggle to get a lounger even for a group as big as ours. Poolside drinks offered a great range even down to Prosecco included in all inclusive. Food was amazing and we didn’t once have a bad meal 👍 Daily entertainment and geared up well for younger children. This place really exceeded expectations with NO complaints. How it’s a 2* hotel amazes us. Location was perfect and right by the beach with bars and restaurants and ice cream parlour. It’s linked directly with a coastal path allowing for lovely walks and even the odd run in the morning. Harbour was 1.2 miles by foot with lots of bars and restaurants The marina is about 2 miles again by foot offering lots of upmarket bars and restaurants plus plenty of shops.
