Elba Premium Suites

I wanted to share some feedback following my recent one-week stay at Elba Premium Suites. While I found the rooms to be clean and spacious, and the grounds and gardens well maintained, my experience with the food and service at the adults buffet restaurant left much to be desired. Breakfast options were quite basic and repetitive each day, and the lack of staff was apparent. The few staff members present seemed unfriendly, which was disappointing.

Dinner at the restaurant was no better. Typically, I expect to be greeted by a manager or staff member, seated, and offered a drink, but this simply didn’t happen. We were left to find a table ourselves, and often the tables were dirty or unavailable. The Adults Only pool ended up being the best place to eat, though the staff there were also unwelcoming—especially Azhara, who responded to my request for a drink with a displeased look. When I tried to raise concerns about the quality and quantity of food, Nadia (Guest Relations) spoke over me repeatedly, making it difficult for me to express my thoughts. She mentioned that the Restaurant Manager, Maciek, was regularly present in the restaurant, but unfortunately, he never approached me or any other guests to introduce himself. On my last day, the Adults Pool was full so I sat in the family area. The bar was overwhelmed, with only a single barman serving a crowd of about twenty people. This was simply not acceptable for a hotel claiming four stars. When it came time to check out, the receptionist didn’t ask about my stay or if I enjoyed my holiday. Overall, my experience was disappointing and not at the standard I expected. I would rate it closer to a two-star property rather than four. I hope this feedback is helpful for improvement.

This hotel could be outstanding, reception, main hotel is stunning clean and bright, our premier junior suite was large, modern and clean.

Positives:

Room was great, cleaners great always fresh towels and water etc always topped up.

Adult pool really chilled has some negatives see below.

Adult bar - the staff there are great and never cue for drinks.

Pool side bar premium- great service great food.

Reception staff - great.

Playa Blanca- hotel is only 10-15 minute walk to harbour front some great restaurants and bars.

Negatives:

We couldn’t help but notice the floor was generally dirty on footpaths, the floor at the adult bar was dirty there is mess by the bar was there all week, floor stained around tables almost as if the area wasnt swept or mopped down all week. For “premier” we expect better.

Premier adult area: the gates are left open. We had issues with getting sunbeds at the adult pool….. we noticed then at lunchtime people with green wristbands were using the pool and snack bar. It’s not policed and explains why it’s hard to claim a sunbed although one selfish couple had towels on 2 beds when we got there at 10am and still weren’t on the beds when we left at 14:30.

Evening entertainment: think we picked a bad week with World Cup on… football in “chill” bar every night we went out in playa Blanca as zero put on.

Steak restaurant: this is in the main pools snack bar, calling it a brasserie when we are sat in the plastic pool side chairs is a stretch.

Premium restaurant: this place is short staffed if you go for breakfast after 9 you’ll find tables not cleared or tables with no cutlery….. we found they’d clear a table put cutlery down but hadn’t wiped table down…..restaurant could be great with just 1 other person helping out….although doesn’t seem to be a floor manager do this could be the issue.

Adult pool- first day my wife asked for ice for the make barman to snap “2 minutes”…. He has his favourites too and will wander off taking drinks to people at the pool leaving bar unattended …. One day he was up stood on bar gyrating…..some people laughed personally not my bag I’d rather just be able to order a drink.

Went as a family of four , the premium suites is good but still share an area with small children. The staff at the adults pool bar are amazing even when really busy. Breakfast is great but dinner is really poor. The choice is very limited and dishes are not what they say they are. We are here for the football but tvs are down so cannot watch the World Cup ! Very poor . Also be prepared to buy extra water as there is no bottles available, 1 single bottle each day and then bars or restaurants. Never been to a place like it. Very boring when it comes to entertainment and staff are very moody at times. Could be better , so much to improve.
