Cordial Marina Blanca

This is a great apartment complex. It is quieter than a lot of TUI holiday resorts as there are no reps on site. This leaves a lovely, relaxing ‘quieter’ experience by the pool … Although there were some small children and babies… I would rate this more for families with teenagers as well, with a good air conditioned gym on site … When I say the beautiful marina with its shops and restaurants is on your doorstep…I mean it is only a few steps. There are other shops and restaurants on the promenade that is a lovely walk along the sea (about 20 mins) to playa blanca centre. We only went there once ..the Indian restaurant (Imagine India)was recommended . It was worth going for! There is a fabulous market that comes to the marina on Wednesdays and Saturdays.. there are some gems of stalls in the middle of the overpriced Chinese tack ones… Returning to the hotel, it was spotlessly clean…and the reception staff courteous and helpful.. The man who fixed the sunbeds by the pool in the evening, was an employee who should win an award. His eye for detail ensured that every single bit of equipment was immaculately replaced for the following day. The beach is about a 10/15 mins walk away. We’re not beach people so we didn’t try it… We went for breakfast one morning.. and the food was just alright . The pool bar food looked nice.. Just to note, there is no evening bar or entertainment in the complex as all this is over in the marina. Tours: Timanfaya national park and submarine dive are musts… We would definitely return here..!

Hotel is beautiful. Pool area is chilled, spacious, clean, safe and enough sun loungers to go round. Shop nearby so easy to pick up anything needed. Haven't came into much contact with staff but when we have they've been helpful and will call taxis when needed. Location next to marina is beautiful and lots of nice places to eat and drink. Area totally shuts down at midnight but feel safe enough walking home. Major issue which is very unfortunate is the noise from building works next door. We're on our last day today, have been allocated room 221, asked for a pool view (paid extra for this) but what wasn't specified is that it backed straight onto the building site. Can set your clock Mon-Fri 7:45am the machinery starts. No sound proofing at all. This is the first negative trip advisor I've did and I don't like doing this is business, however for anyone wanting a nice relaxing morning in a self catering hotel, this is not the room to have. Hotel really need to be clearer about exactly what rooms are affected by the building works, especially as we paid extra! Would come back, but will be after the building works are finished!

What a wonderful Hotel Cordial Marina is. All staff lovely and would especially like to commend Darlen on the Reception who was a lovely young lady always smiling and everytime she saw me would ask how I was and give me hugs she is a credit to the Hotel. Rooms spacious and clean, lovely full size fridge and freezer and comfy beds. Great pool and lots of sunbeds no fighting over them, Food for breakfast very good, lots of choices, plenty of fresh fruit and very good hot dishes. Everywhere was kept immaculately clean. The only complaint I have is we were on the first floor and were unfortunate to have very loud and noisey people above us which did spoil our holiday but saying that would definitely return and hope to get a second floor room. The Hotel is just behind the Marina and in a great spot for eating out on an evening, The noise from the construction site behind the Hotel did not bother us at all so don't lert that put you off going to this wonderful Hotel.
