Lovely hotel and staff
Great family holiday. Hotel, facilities, staff and location all wonderful. Only issue was noisy construction work next to hotel which isn't ideal, hence 4 rather than 5 stars.
An Unforgettable Stay at the Royal Level – Barceló Playa Blanca
We recently stayed on the Royal Level at Barceló Playa Blanca and it did not disappoint. The hotel itself is beautiful and set in an amazing location. From the moment we arrived, everything felt a level above your typical all-inclusive.
The restaurants were fantastic — the à la carte menu was vast, with something for everyone. Lunch portions were a touch generous, but honestly, that’s a problem you don’t mind having.
Drinks-wise, this was hands down the best selection we’ve had at an all-inclusive resort — wines, beers, and top-shelf spirits and cocktails were all excellent. A special mention to Caesar at the Royal bar, who was fantastic throughout our stay.
Daytime activities were well-run and genuinely fun, and the entertainment team deserve real credit for how much energy they brought. Zizo in particular went above and beyond — his impact on guest engagement was obvious, and you could really tell the difference in the atmosphere on the days he wasn’t around.
All in all, an amazing hotel in an amazing location, and the Royal Level made it feel extra special. Highly recommend.
Almost perfect
This hotel is stunning, staff are extremely friendly, and very helpful.
This is our favourite hotel that we've visited so far on playa blanca.
Pros. Plenty of sunbeds, great options for breakfast, a la carte menu for lunch/dinner. Pool is great, and gives great views. Drinks are great, cocktails very well made. Rooms are very spacious.
Cons. In the main it's the food, found it to be lukewarm or cold a lot of time. Same with the a la carte menu, cold a lot of time. We are out for dinner, so we didn't mind too much, but it's definitely the weak point of the hotel.
If you have mobility issues, note the hotel is big by any standard.
The sports bar is great, slight disappointment that commentary came through the TVs and not speakers, so it was very low volume.

Beautiful hotel in a great location.
This was our second trip to this hotel and we love it. The staff, the accommodation and the facilities are amazing. We can’t wait to return.

Well worth a visit
Just returned today (18/7/26) from Playa Blanca Lanzarote adults only Royal Level. Lovely and quiet relaxing atmosphere pleasant staff.The rooms are spacious and kept spotlessly clean every day. A good selection of menus and food from the full alacarte in Magical to the buffet meals served on the family section. It’s not a cheap Holiday by all means but the Hotel and its surroundings
More than make up for it. It would benefit for pool waiters service like other Hotels in the area provide.
This was our second time this year, we were there in March which was much busier than this time.
On the entertainment side it needs improvement more class acts, in October last year we stayed at Dreams and the entertainment was far superior.
On the hole it’s still a good place to spend your Holiday
