The complex has a Wellness Centre with a Spa and Gymnasium a sports centre with tennis courts and paddle tennis and play areas for children including a children swimming pool and a pirate ship and offers entertainment for both children and adults.
Barcelo Playa Blanca covers an area of 1000000 m2 right on the seafront 100 metres from the beach and close to the Rubicon Marina a promenade with a pleasure marina restaurants bars shops and leisure zones.

Good hotel but pricy
The hotel is outstanding, clean and staff friendly. The location is ideal for shops bars and beach. Rooms are good, beds are amazing. Cleaned daily. Food is repetitive but plenty, only problem is the food is not hot enough. Could be more choice at the pool bar/restaurant was same every day.
Truly breathtaking hotel
This hotel is stunning the staff are kind friendly and approachable. We had a horrible situation on arrival while checking in and my 19 year old son passed out. Very frightening but they were quick to help called for medical help and luckily my son was fine but throughout the whole 9 day holiday they continuously checked he was ok and if he needed anything to let them know. The Guest Experience Manager Susana even called his mobile phone to check on him. This was very reassuring for all of us as a family (Party of 6, 3 rooms) they went above and beyond with concern and care. The hotel is stunning, its huge, spotless and smells incredible and as stated before the staff were all so kind and friendly. Evening entertaining eveyday were all inclusive breakfast lunch and dinner literally spoilt for choice and then the Pool bar also serves food from 11.30 til 6. slushy cocktails all day long, real coke and soft drinks not the cheap stuff. Ice cream all day long (caramel was to die for) huge pool half heated half not. No sunbed wars pool doesn't open till 9 which just made it so relaxed. Kids pool for little kids didn't use but looked fun. Daytime activities all day long. I just love lanzarote anyway but this hotel made me love it even more. Lots of excursions although we only went to tymnfaya volcano and camel ride but lots of choice, the hotel is right by the marina which is a lovely stroll with lits of bars and restaurants if you fancy going outside the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel and would love to go back

Location - perfect!next to Rubicón Marina Hotel - newly built, very clean. Excellent customer service Reception desk and conciergeire than happy to help with anything Rooms - lovely - everything you need, beautiful views Excellent food - great choice in buffet Koi and Mexican restaurant lovely Sea view Staff all very friendly and helpful Plenty of sunbeds and pool opens at 9am

I was very impressed with the hotel and staff. The whole place was immaculate and the staff were friendly. In particular, shout out to Alexander who was always playing pranks! I’d recommend the hotel. Perfect location for beach and shops. Rooms are spacious and well designed.

After we had booked we heard some great things about the hotel and it didn't disappoint. The stay was just what we needed and we all agreed we would love to go back.
