The resort complex main swimming pool is a 180metrelong temperature regulated infinity pool There is also a Conference Centre with capacity for 800 people a theatre and several meeting rooms in addition to themed restaurants Asian and Mexican bars and 2 buffet restaurants.
The complex has a Wellness Centre with a Spa and Gymnasium a sports centre with tennis courts and paddle tennis and play areas for children including a children swimming pool and a pirate ship and offers entertainment for both children and adults.
Barcelo Playa Blanca covers an area of 1000000 m2 right on the seafront 100 metres from the beach and close to the Rubicon Marina a promenade with a pleasure marina restaurants bars shops and leisure zones.

Overall good experience but room for improvement
Stayed for our 3rd year running but not sure if will be returning. It’s a nice hotel but starting to need a bit of attention. The staff are all pretty nice, food and drink ok.
Signage needs changing Poolside paths badly worn Pool Is nice but pretty grubby Shower head totally blocked Bad smell of sewage Water went off completely Fire alarm at 5am then again at 6am. Stopped both times but no one from reception answered phone. Rooms are not quiet, had 2 occasions where had to complain . The worst due a massive argument were the police were called
It’s not a cheap holiday and some of these things would not take a lot to fix. Hotel would not any sort of compensation for the sleep disturbances either
Unreal from start to finish!
Our second staff at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint! Our highlights is definitely the facilities, the gym, spa and mostly the kids club! Big shout to Adrianna, Arelius, Kim and Sara! You made our dishes holiday be the best one yet

The best holiday
We loved our time back at this hotel, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We were treated lovely by everyone. Was nice to see familiar faces from last year and shout out to Aurelius in the kids club he remembered our boys straight away from last year which they were delighted about. Be back again

Couldn’t fault this hotel and we loved everything about it! Staff are incredible and so friendly and will go out their way to make sure your stay is perfect!
The hotel grounds are stunning and the smell when you walk in is amazing! Food was delicious and very varied.
Entertainment staff were absolutely brilliant and my kids were so excited every day for the mini disco! Plenty for kids to do like the amusements and teen area and pool slides which was perfect for my 5 and 3 year old.
Hotel grounds are very well taken care of and rooms are brilliant!
Thank you for such a wonderful stay and have already recommend to lots of family and hoping we’ll be back next year!
