The family-friendly hotel Sol Lanzarote is perfectly situated in a peaceful location in Matagorda, frontline to the sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Guests will appreciate a wonderful pool landscape; part of the hotel is designed in a Flintstones style, with themed rooms and a themed restaurant as well as a Flintstones Bazaar. A shopping centre is only 200 metres away; the popular holiday resort of Puerto del Carmen is easily reachable by public transportation. An ideal hotel for families with children who wish to spend a beach holiday. We would like to inform you that the time has come to proceed with the repair of our three pools to offer a modern and functional product. For all this we wanted to inform you that we have decided, for the best achievement of this repair and above all to avoid inconvenience to our customers and partners, proceed to the temporary closure of this pool from the day 12/11/2020 with an estimated duration of 1 month. We are delighted to inform that the hotel will have another 2 swimming pools available and all the services will run as normal within the new reality adapted to the Covid-19 under the program Stay Safe with Melia.

Family fun and making memories
Great location, friendly atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful. Food wise really good selection, something for everyone. Entertainment was great both day & night. Overall, my family enjoyed their stay and would definitely recommend.
Sol Hotel
Lovely hotel, best all inclusive food we’ve had! 5 minutes from the hotel and lovely staff especially John Peter the lifeguard, he made our holiday, he was great with the children and so funny! Also shout out to Lorenzo, again amazing with the children and great dancing at mini disco. We have all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing 10/10. Highly recommend
Stayed for 10 nights with my friend and our 2 16year olds.. it has been the best experience and such a beautiful hotel. The staff were all friendly helpful and welcoming. lorenzo was amazing and kept everyone entertained and involved. The hotel was clean and great size rooms with daily cleaning. 10/10 experience and was my first time abroad. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning.

Great family experience!
We had a wonderful seven-day family experience at Sol Lanzarote. My wife and six-year-old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed all the aspects of the resort.
The entertainment was fantastic thanks to Lorenzo and Nathan. The pool variety and cleaning were also top-notch. The food and location were perfect.
The rooms could be improved a bit though. Our double superior was a bit dated.
Overall, it was a very good experience.
