Lovely quiet hotel.
The hotel is situated in matagoda which is about a 20 mins bus ride to the main area of peurto del carmen & only 20 mins or so from the airport. The hotel & area around the hotel is lovely & clean, & well kept, there’s two great pools. Our apartment was very clean & spacious with everything we needed even English tv. We went half board the breakfast & evening buffet was good . Great short stay we would return if we wanted a quiet base.

Third stay
Our third time staying here at the hotel and would definitely recommend. Very clean and the facilities first rate. Looking to book for our winter holiday next year and already competitively priced so good value as well.
Great stay
Just returned back from 11 nights in 2 bed appartment on a B&B board.the hotel the staff the cleaners i can not fault at all.the lady in the shop downstairs is lovely and friendly and the shop sells lots of essential stuff.Rafa the lifeguard by the pool whos been there for the last 4 visits of ours at least is a nice chap always says morning and a nice smile too.we love costa sal and have really taken too it.just a few minor issues some mornings the food all though very tasty and well cooked was cold.and the rooms are looking a little tired marks on floor poor shower fitting causing leaks.one big possitive was the 2 girls doing entertainment by the pool day and night was great and a real asset to costa sal.we couldnt give less than 5 stars because of how hard all the staff work and we will return very soon thankyo costa sal for a great stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Ilunion Costa Sal Lanzarote. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and all of the staff were incredibly professional, friendly, kind and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always made us feel welcome. We absolutely loved the pool area, and our apartment was fantastic. It was spacious, comfortable, beautifully presented and had everything we needed. We were genuinely amazed by the quality and features of the apartment. The location was also perfect for us. The beach was close by, as were shops and plenty of restaurants, so everything was within easy reach. We honestly never expected to have such an amazing holiday, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I genuinely cannot think of a single bad thing to say about this hotel, even if I wanted to! We would happily come back and would absolutely recommend Ilunion Costa Sal Lanzarote to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, friendly and relaxing place to stay. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so special. We loved it! ❤️
Disappointed
The exterior of the hotel is good. Pool, reception, restaurant, location all ok. The room however was very disappointing. Advertised as 4 star, I would say more like 2 star. Black grout, broken tiles, mould, dust a blocked shower plug just some of the things we encountered. We also had to ant infestations. We opened our wardrobe on day 2 and there was an army of ants, crawling all over our clothes and all over the wardrobe. After calling reception the maintenance man came, after an hour and killed all the ants with a spray. Whilst looking in the wardrobe I noticed a horrible smell and found a cigarette packet with 2 half smoked cigarettes inside which stunk our apartment out. A couple of days later I noticed more ants on the bed and bedside tables only to discover another ant invasion on the floor under our window and in our cases which were on the floor. The room just wasn't clean either even though the cleaners came every couple of days. I expected more from the money we paid and would not stay in this hotel again.
