Oasis Lanz Beach Mate

My new favourite hotel is Lanzarote! We arrived 26th July and stayed for 6 nights. On arrived we were greeted with a smile and a glass of Cava. We didn't pre check in so the check in service took around 10 minutes. not too long. We didnt get concierge like everyone else though, not sure if we just timed it wrong?

On check out, my app was'nt working for my boarding pass so the lady at the desk was more than helpful and printed of my boarding pass for me!!

The location was perfect! Close to the square, close to the beach. Short cut down to Playa bastian if you take a left out the front door, square if you take a right.

The Atmosphere in the hotel was very chilled. I think myself and my fiance were the loudest two in the pool. Mostly couples, and not many children, mostly babies.

Our room was room 301, there is no lifts so if you are like me and over pack, make sure you have someone strong to carry them up. We didnt get sun on the balcony much but we over looked the pool bar. Cleaned every day, if we slept in and missed the cleaers (they came quite early) we popped on the door hanger requesting for it to be cleaned and when we came back later on they would have cleaned. The drains were quite strong in our room, not sure if its like this throughout the hotel but mid morning it stunk! didnt mind much though as we didnt spend much time in the room. The beds are quite hard, but i didnt find it an issue and slept well. I personally need a fan to sleep, the aircon was good and very cold but it went off every 3 hours so i woke up like clockwork to turn it back on. Showers - lovely strong water pressure, i did notice like other people it didnt heat up instantly, but it wasnt an issue, turned the shower on before i got myself undressed and ready and by the time i was ready it was lovely and warm!

Pools are great, we didnt have to fight for sunbeds and there was more than enough! Pool near the bar was more adult couples and the one by the restraunt had more familys with small children. Both heated! Not allowed any floaties in the pool. Cannot smoke round the pool area and no glass allowed. Pool bar was nice too, food was good quality. We tried the Pizza's and the garlic prawns, both would reccomend. I wouldnt reccomend the pina colada, that was the only cocktail i wasnt a fan off.

Our board was bed and breakfast and this was probably one of the best hotel breakfast we have had. Lots of choice and they even had Cheese and Ham toasties, perfect for me who is OBSESSED with them. Freshly cooked eggs, Cava, the usual full english stuff and lots of fruit etc.

The value for money was great in my opinion, well kept hotel. Great friendly staff. Food quality good.

We will be returning! 100%!

A great relaxing little hotel. We visited in June/July for the third time. Staff are lovely and helpful and the hotel is spotless.

The room has everything you need with a lovely large shower.

There are two pools, one of which is a quiet area but to be honest both pools are reasonably quiet. Sunbeds were no hassle at all as they remove towels of they have been thre for a long time. Clean beach towels provided every day.

There is a small lool bar which also does snacks (pizzas, wraps, chips etc) and we opted for the breakfast option this time and it didn't disappoint with plenty of choice and lovely fresh cooked eggs (omelette, fried etc).

If I had to be really picky, the gym is just ridiculously warm but I appreciate not everyone wants to hit the gym on hols!!

We will definitely come back again. The location is just across the road from the main centre so it is perfect and a short walk to a bus stop if you fancy a trip out of Costa Teguise.
