The hotel is located in the Costa Teguise tourist area, in front of a small beach. It is just 250 m from Spoons' Beach (Playa de las Cucharas) and the commercial area with shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel's location offers guests the opportunity to enjoy all kinds of aquatic activities, as well as various sports, entertainment and relaxation options. The centre of Arrecife is approximately 7 km away.
The air-conditioned, family-friendly hotel was renovated in 2011 and offers 177 apartments. The hotel is built on 3 floors and offers lift access to all areas (barrier free), as well as an area with WLAN Internet reception and areas for adults and families. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception service and currency exchange facilities. Facilities for families include a children's playground, a kids' club and a games room. Guests can relax in the TV lounge, café, or bar, or have fun in the pub and disco. The hotel also offers two restaurants. Guests can make use of the laundry service and car park.
The apartments are suitable for an occupancy of up to eight persons. Each offers a sea view or mountain view, and features which will suit all family members. All apartments are en suite and feature a bathroom with a shower, as well as a bedroom with a double bed, and a living room. Each also features a kitchenette with a microwave (guests should check availability), a fridge, toaster and coffee maker. The apartments also come with a 32-inch flat-screen TV with access to satellite channels, as well as free WLAN Internet access. The apartments are air-conditioned and come equipped with a hairdryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe box and minibar as standard. Additional features include central heating and a balcony or terrace.

Good value overall.
Location is nice and quiet with a small sandy/rocky beach just a minutes walk away. Hotel does need the upcoming refurb programme (especially the gym, that is a bit tatty), but the staff were very pleasant. Food was fine. No parking within the hotel grounds but is plentiful and free in the public car park next door. Would definitely consider going back as long as they don't hike the price too much.
Lovely holiday
Great holiday, kids loved it and only a short walk to the town and on the beaches doorstep! Food was reasonable too, cats everywhere which I absolutely loved as a cat mum of 3 😁. Weather was just nice and pools were lovely too,we had a room right outside pool which was great for an evening swim. Would definitely return.
Our 3rd time back....
This is the 3rd time back to HD beach resort and this holiday was our wedding anniversary. We come back to lanzarote mainly because of this hotel. We feel like it's our 2nd home. This time we were there when the hotel flooded. It was heartbreaking. The staff were excellent, going out of their way to keep us all safe and give us information. The holiday rep/ organisation were no where to be seen!!!! Although we were transferred to a lovely hotel it was not the same as HD and there are so many positive things to say about this place, the staff, the setting , the beach view, the food, the cleanliness.... We will be coming back and next time for longer. Please please don't change the ambience of your hotel too much. We love it how it is. A massive thanks to all of you for everything you did to help us in April and for making our holiday special. Kind regards Mel and Jeremy
Fabulous, but rooms need updating !
Beautiful weather, lovely hotel. rooms we stayed in a bit dated and need to be refurbished but perfectly comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing nothing too much trouble, kind and considerate and such fun .
