Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
just got back from this hotel we done a week there, was definitely one of the best holidays i have been on, hotel was great nice and clean food was good, all the staff were polite, chloe who does the excursions was absolutely fantastic very nice woman and polite helped us book two amazing excursions, the entertainment team were all so lovely, nolan and maria was absolutely great alwyas spoke to everybody getting them to do activities it was fantastic so big up to you guys your all amazing, definitely recommend this hotel they do so many activities for everyone. fantastic week!
Just got back from a week at this hotel and we all had a great time.
We went during UK term time so there were plenty of spare sunbeds. Rooms were clean, with no extra charge for safe. Third bed was a pullout camp bed from under sofa. Rooms are cleaned five times a week, towels changed several times a week.
Restaurant was very good - we’re a family fussy eaters but enjoyed it - always a nice chicken option even if not wanting the other mains. I liked the stonebaked (very cheesy) pizzas!
Beers and soft drinks (all sugar free) were self service in snack bar and restaurant (as was wine, I believe). Beer tasted fine.
Location is good - transfer time is not long from Arrecife and hotel is walkable to beach and shops and bars in resort. Aquarium is on doorstep. Excursion shop close if wanting to visit Mt Timanfaya or any other island trips.
Entertainment team were nice (shoutouts to Nolan running the football and Marco who ran the minigolf) and get people involved without being overpushy.
We didn’t stay for the evening entertainment much so can’t comment much on that we watched the World Cup in bars a few times by the time the kids disco was over but the bingo was good and my wife enjoyed the Motown singers.
Overall, an excellent hotel, staff were all very friendly and it felt a safe, family friendly hotel. If I had to have one minor gripe it was the ice cream freezer in the restaurant must be broken as the ice cream turned to mush very quickly even straight after opening for evening meals at 6 pm. By comparison, ice cream was spot on in the snack bar freezer!
Well done El Trebol, thanks for a great holiday.
Had a really nice holiday here. On the whole the hotel is ok and in a great area with only a 5 minute walk to the nearset beach, which is lovely. The rooms are really nice, with plenty of room. The food is good, although the hotel needs to ensure the plates are clean !! The downside is the evening facilities, only one bar with terrible entertainment and a kids disco every night until 9, with the Adult bar not included in the all inclusive. If you try and sit outside in the seating area for drinking, you are bombarded with kids kicking footballs around.
Marco and Helena absolutely made our holiday. From the very first day they made us feel like we weren't just guests, but part of their family. We have never really got involved in hotel entertainment before, but they made us feel so welcome and included that we found ourselves joining in and actually loving every minute of it. What really stood out was how genuine they both are. Every day they would come over for a chat, ask how we were and make us feel valued. Even on their days off they still made the effort to stop and speak to us, which says everything about the kind of people they are. It never felt forced – they genuinely cared. All the kids absolutely adored them too. They had endless time and patience for every child, always with a smile on their faces and making everyone feel included. You could see how much they loved what they do, and it showed. No disrespect to the rest of the entertainment team, but Marco and Helena were in a different league. Their energy, kindness, professionalism and passion shone through every single day. They went above and beyond anything that could ever be expected of them and made our holiday one we'll never forget. We genuinely feel like we've made two friends for life. They are a massive credit to the hotel and, in our opinion, are hugely undervalued. I really hope their managers and supervisors see this because staff like Marco and Helena deserve to be recognised and rewarded. They're the reason people come back to this hotel. Thank you both for everything. Keep being the amazing people you are. You're two truly lovely souls, and we can't wait to see you both again. The hotel itself was well presented and kept clean and tidy at all times for a 3 star hotel it was brilliant. The food was good but repetitive over the 2 week period. By far, the highlight of our holiday in el Trebol was Marco and Helena thanks for everything ❤️
10 day family holiday, we all had an absolutely amazing time, only given 4 as the food here was a slight let down, one member of our family is Gluten & dairy free, and struggled to eat as staff didn’t understand the needs although we were assured by TUI that these needs are catered for, the signs for the food were not accurate and we were told it depends on who cooks that day depends on what ingredients are used but they just keep the same name cards for it, so be careful if you have food allergies or have any other dietary requirements, the hotel itself was clean and the apartments were lovely and spacious, the cleaning staff were lovely too, there was plenty of room around the 4 pools so no fighting for space or beds, however our best part was from the entertainment staff Nolan, Maria and Marco, they were absolutely amazing, the interaction with children and adults from these 3 was outstanding and they engaged with everyone, they included everyone in the activities and made a point to try and speak with everyone, not just in the evening entertainment but during the day also, our favourite daytime activity was the Aqua dance with Nolan, if it was just based on the hotel and entertainment staff it would be a 5 star without a doubt. Would definitely return
