Had a fantastic holiday with the family.
You get exactly what you pay for at this place.
Staff are brilliant apart from the lady at the snack bar who should not work in hospitality her attitude is rotten !!!!
Food is ok decent enough options. Entertainment is not great at all both at night and during the day. Pools great and had zero issues getting 4 loungers all week. Rooms are clean and adequate but very uncomfortable beds never had a decent sleep all week. Hotel in general could be doing with spruse up its very very run down.
Not somewhere I would return too but as I said you get what you pay for and overall we had a fantastic holiday.

So firstly I am giving my review which is my personal opinion & will of course differ from other people's. This is a 3 star hotel its not royalty so your paying for what you get. Personally I was petried before going due to the negative reviews but my family was right ignore them and see for yourself. I went as a single parent with 2 kids so it was stressful enough but I had no problems throughout. The only thing was the towel change overs it isnt frequent so I did wash them myself in the sink but thats just me. Food was spot on ive never actually eaten as much abroad even in 5 star hotel I really did enjoy all the food lots of variety and then simple options for kids cause one of mine just eats very plain. Yes the rooms are dated but I had no problems with my room we all slept pretty decent. Entertainment is 10 out of 10 mikey the 2 girls & the young lad were AMAZING 👏 🤩 enjoyed everything they did as they really put it together ( sorry I couldnt remember the names ) yasin I think he was called the waiter was so sweet and funny & Juan ( the egg man i called him ) was absolutely the sweetest soul ever 😀 every guest was so kind , nice and friendly and I met a lovely little family too we had the best of laughs !! so from my opinion I would deffo go back with it all been the same experience. Plenty to do local wise too water park , ranco texas , market and many more. Thank you blue bay 💙
What should have been a relaxing family holiday turned into a stressful and disappointing experience. Awful all over
Absolutely the worst holiday experience we’ve ever had. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to avoid staying in Block E. The rooms were filthy, dirty, and poorly maintained. There were cockroaches, bugs, and flies everywhere—on the floor, around the room, and even in the shower. It was completely unacceptable and made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay. The standard of cleanliness was shocking and nowhere near what we expected. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. We complained and were moved to another room, but it was no better. The mattress was even replaced, yet it was still just as uncomfortable. None of the issues were properly resolved. The entertainment was virtually non-existent, leaving very little to do, especially in the evenings. For the amount we paid, we expected a much higher standard. We travelled as a family of 16, and every single one of us was left extremely disappointed. This hotel fell far below the standards we expected when booking through Jet2, and it certainly did not deliver the quality promised. The whole point of going on holiday is to come home feeling relaxed, refreshed, and like you’ve had a break. Instead, we came home feeling exhausted, stressed, and relieved that it was over. I have already submitted a formal complaint to Jet2 and am currently awaiting a response. After this experience, we will never return and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and book somewhere that values its guests.

This hotel is good, but it has the potential to be great if a few things were improved.
The rooms are a bit tired & needing some upgrades, but you really only sleep & shower in them.
The food is really good, a great selection, plenty to choose from. During the day there's toasties/ burgers & salad if you don't want to go into the restaurant for lunch. The drinks are good too.
The staff all work really hard, constantly clearing tables etc and all are really friendly.
The main downside for me was the lack of shade & parasols at the pool, not everyone wants to fry all day in the sun, so this really needs sorted out. It's unfortunate, as the pool area is great otherwise.
Also, it's €10 an HOUR to keep your room for a late checkout. If you're not willing to pay this, there is no shower room available at all, the only option is to shower at the pool. For a hotel this size, that's really poor.
These things stopped me giving a 5 star review of an otherwise really nice holiday here.

Hotel 10 mins walk to a small beach , Playa Bastian , 20 mins walk to main town , shops ,bars and beach . Very busy hotel , great for families, day time entertainment fab , evening entertainment not that good . Food is good, something for everyone, great pizza's! Staff really friendly! Need to get up early to get sunbeds!!! Rooms ok cleaned every day except Wed , towels changed every 3 days . Just be aware that if you have a late flight there is no shower facilities after you check out at 12 pm !!! Not good 😐
