Beatriz Costa and Spa

Hi, just to summarise it, it was my first time in Lanzarote. The first day we got in everything seemed nice but then we started to realise that a few things were wrong. 1- the same food every day. And to be clear, the yoghurt I was eating was out of date and I realised it after i ate it. Also the floor manager (the is tall suited dark skin gentleman) was rude. He came in our table and told us to not use the cups again but to use glasses and he doesn’t care if we have to wait 1 hour until the glasses are clean. This is what he said word by word. 2- Long walk to my room. To get into my room i had to take the elevator to the second floor and walk for a good 4-5 minutes to get into my room. You have to walk from one side of the hotel to the other to get to your room, and if you check some pictures of the hotel you will see what i mean because this hotel is extremely big. 3- my bed was broke. Yes thats correct. I complained about it the first day i got in but no one did anything about it. One side of the bed was completely lose so i had to sleep on the left side of the single bed so i don’t fall. The other single bed was fine but my friend was sleeping there. 4- no entertainment. 5- the pool does look a bit dirty to be honest. You see straws and all sorts at the bottom of the pool which isn’t very nice.

Positives about beatriz costa: 1- the reception staff are extremely helpful and kind. 2- if you need a taxi the reception orders it for you and you can get in the taxi within 2/3 minutes to go anywhere you want. 3- the cleaners are very good, they changed our towels anytime we asked them to, they are very nice people and very good at their job. 4- the rooms are big and the balcony is very big which is a good thing to be honest. 5- you can get cold water from the bar for free 24/7. 6- you get towels for the lounges by the pool for free

Overall it was okay, I am upset with the listed items above, but lanzarote itself is very beautiful. Its a gorgeous place. Would I choose Beatriz costa again? Unfortunately i am never choosing to stay at this hotel again how it is right now. If they make improvements in the future i will give it another try. I need to add that some taxi drivers are quite miserable and not welcoming at all and they seem quite rude, but some others are lovely. I don’t want to overwhelm you guys with all of this but I wish i knew about these things before I chose where to stay as its my first time in Lanzarote.

We had an amazing 7-day stay with my wife and our five children, and overall it was a fantastic family holiday.

Most of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. There were lots of different activities available, which were great for the children. The kids’ club was particularly appreciated, as it gave my wife and me the opportunity to have some quality time together without the children — something that made a big difference during our holiday.

I would especially like to thank Chloe, Christina, Remi and Sebastian. Their friendliness, enthusiasm and helpfulness really stood out, and without them, our holiday simply would not have been the same. They are a real credit to the team.

The F&B amenities were also very good. The food was okay overall, as were the drinks, although there is perhaps a little room for improvement in this area.

Overall, we had a wonderful family stay and created some great memories. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday such an enjoyable experience.

We've been to this hotel before (about 10 years ago!) So we knew what to expect for the most part. The pools are brilliant and the snack bar was great, most staff were friendly. The only thing I would say is you need all inclusive ice cream for the kids!

Our room was a dated one but it didn't bother us. It was cleaned every day and the beds are so comfortable.

Food was tasty but could do with a little more choice.

We didn't mind the walk into town (15 mins with 3 kids) it meant we could burn off the food!

Lots to do onsite. Kids loved the golf, tennis and the park. Never struggled for a sunbed or a table at dinner! Can't wait to go back!
