This hotel is set in a quiet, beachfront location, just 100 metres from Las Cucharas beach and close to Costa Teguise centre, where visitors will find plenty of shopping and leisure facilities, as well as public transport links. The hotel is situated around 4 km from Arrecife, 12 km from Teguise and 15 km from Lanzarote's airport. This avant-garde hotel boasts a total of 246 Deluxe rooms and 58 Junior suites, all of them with complimentary wireless Internet connection. Guests will enjoy modern facilities and personalized services. The establishment boasts an infinity pool and a solarium area with sunloungers, bali beds and hydromassage, as well as a wellness centre with sensations showers. Great experience at this hotel.
Stayed as a couple last week half board. Hotel exceptional very clean and welcoming. No pressure to join in activities. Very peaceful we had a room overlooking the main walk way from reception no bother with noise issues, I actually found it entertaining watching people get up at 6:30am to put towels down on sunloungers. People you are at an adults only hotel sunbeds were available anytime of the day. Our room had an outside spa bath and bath salts were provided. Breakfast amazing and fresh and no pressure to finish at dead on 10:30am, dinner also lots of choices for everyone. We only had dinner twice at the hotel we chose to eat at the square. Champs bar really lovely food and reasonable prices. We stayed 5 nights and made use of the main pool for 2 days the beach thereafter. Very big pool towels provided. Bath towels very large also and amenities in room were great - tissues, toothbrushes, bath salts and cotton pads. We used the gym, the payable beds for a day at 34€ included cava and fruit but honestly we preferred the beach. We booked a couples massage which equally was amazing we chose to go at 5pm. No late check out available as the hotel was fully booked but we could use the shower in the spa for a half hour time slot. All staff work hard to keep everything running smooth we will come back it was just out of this world.

Committed staff, good hotel.
We have just returned from a week at the hotel. We stayed in a Sea View Junior Suite and loved it. It was a treat to sit on the balcony during the afternoons and enjoy the blowing wind and the sea view, however, there were some machinery units on the roof (A.C units?) that produced a very low sound that could be noticed during the night if the balcony's doors were left open. Although the room was un-conventional in its design it was very comfortable and pleasant to spend time in.
The hotel has two pools, an infinity pool that faces the sea and a main pool surrounded by a court yard (see the hotel's photo). The issue for us was that because the infinity pool has no umbrellas most people congregate around the main pool that becomes very congested and then, there is little gap between the sun beds. Also, if you are not early enough you might not be able to get a sun bed with an umbrella.
The buffet had a good selection of food that was good and at times even tasty making us go for seconds. The waiters were working hard if not to say overloaded.
All together the hotel is very pleasant, clean and very well maintained, it is not a luxury hotel but an hotel that you will enjoy and come back, we will.

Great hotel and location
First time in Lanzarote and I was there for 10 days. On arrival after 9pm checked in and receptionist told me I could go the Atlantic Restaurant for some food. Given a glass of Cava and a porter escorted me to my room pointing out where things were. Room was very nice and had a whirlpool in it. Ground floor facing main pool - had privacy sitting out as there were palm trees + also other plants in front of patio area. Food in restaurant was really excellent - never had an issue finding something to eat. Staff were very cheerful and efficiently took away any used plates etc. I was close to the infinity pool and spent time there as it was quiet and had seating as well as sun beds. The infinity pool was lovely to cool off in and the view was beautiful looking over the sea and beach. At night time it was lovely to look out on as well. Quite windy at times but no problem getting a sunbed. The area around the hotel was good as there were plenty of bars, shops and places to eat. I ate lunch in Champs, Claddagh Bar, The Irish Bailey, La Toscana + The Shamrock. All were good and within walking distance. Service was good and if you like sport Champs show football etc on screens. Friendly service in the ones I tried. Lots of places to walk and explore. The hotel itself is very well run. I had a couple of very minor issues -ie one being coffee machine wasn’t working properly but reception sorted it out for me very quickly. I have booked for next year again as I enjoyed my stay a lot.

Everything is truly amazing
Costa Teguise Lanzarote Barcelo 5th visit to this wonderful hotel The main reason for returning is the amazing staff In reception doing the excursions is a wonderful lady called Ldaira she is just wonderful, kind , caring, professional, an extreme asset to your company In the Restaurant is the amazing Salek and Ali two of the nicest people I’ve ever met Both are amazing people with amazing personalities Always always welcoming and make you feel like a king and queen Them two are truly professionals at there job and are an asset to the hotel In the Spa the staff are wonderful too Jenny is the best at deep tissue massage and is a wonderful person too The Hotel is lovely, the gym is great , brilliant swimming pool and amazing food Will definitely be back again because of the warm welcome every time from your wonderful staff Thank you all so so so much All our love Stephen Smith & Marina Smith XX
Lovely holiday at the Barcelo Teguise Beach
Again a lovely stay at this lovely hotel, I booked direct with the hotel and requested a junior suite on the third floor and got what I asked for(thank you). The room was very bigger and over looked the court yard looking towards both pools. Large balcony with table two chairs and 2 loungers and as we had full sun everyday we did not need to go to the pool to sunbath if we did not want to, when we did we went to the plunge pool as found this quiet and beautiful views of the bay. The room was clean and had everything you needed including kettle and coffee machine. There is a mini bar but even if you are AI you have to pay, this is he only thing that I think could be changed. On arrival in our room we had been left a bottle of cava which was lovely touch, also the jar of biscuits very yummy. We was AI so we use to lunch in breeze great food and staff, due to a walking issue(on crutches at the moment) I found the buffet restaurant hard to navigate this was mostly due to other guest having no manners and push to get to food as if it will run out ! this is never going to happen as they are always topping up !! it was also hard to walk round the main food area. With this in mind we chose to eat in Champs most night and the food is great and service fantastic. This also meant we already had our seat for the evening entertainment which was great and when finished we use to pop back up to the B lounge for a last drink or two. We have been to this hotel 2 before and to Teguise 4 times before, its lovely to walk round the bay and have a drink or meal out at other places. we hired a mobile scooter twice so I could get a bit further out and round the bay, would recommend this. Also the Irish bailey is a great place to eat and drink too and only a few steps from Champs. We will differently be back again soon hotel and staff are amazing always polite and helpful
