Going Back In A Couple Weeks
Lovely hotel Grounds are beautiful Coming back in a. Couple weeks for my partners birthday. Area is soooooooo gorgeous The team are very friendly Hope we have a great time again next in a couple weeks

Almost 5 stars. Hire more bar staff!!
This was our second visit and we again enjoyed our stay very much. The peaceful location, attentive staff and choice of locations to eat are wonderful. We were all inclusive and there is certainly no need to pay a considerable amount extra to go for Preferred Club. The food is generally of a good standard albeit we felt on a couple of occasions it fell a little below 5 star, such as the burger and steak in the Grill. The bar and waiting staff are constantly on the go but there simply is not enough of them. Pool service was hit and miss, queuing at the pool bar and waiting time in the Piano bar in the evening were too slow and it is because too much is expected of too few staff, who work long hours and do their absolute best. Now, evening entertainment. There are 2 acts that I think are great, the 3 operatic tenors, and 4beats. However, the Bollywood and Flamenco dance acts were just not for me. The other musical acts, they're good musicians and vocalists, but please update your playlist. Repeated Amy Winehouse songs and others straight from a 1980's wedding are letting you down, and god knows how the staff put up with it every week. To finish on some positives, the quality of drinks is excellent, as is the quality of cleaning. The mini bar was replenished everyday. And there is a very pleasant 10 minute walk to the Marina where you find a decent number of bars and restaurants, and ocean excursions.

Our New Home in Lanzarote
There is very little more to say other than that our stay at Secrets Lanzarote has been fantastic. From the moment you arrive, the familiar faces at reception make you feel as though you are coming home. The hotel is beautifully presented, exceptionally well managed and thoroughly cleaned every day. The stocked minibar is a welcome touch, the staff are attentive without being intrusive, and the quality of the food is exceptional.
This was our second visit, and the attention to detail remains impeccable. I have been visiting Lanzarote for around 40 years, but Secrets has now firmly become our new home on the island. The rooms provide everything you need without including so much that you feel encouraged to remain there rather than enjoy the wider resort. The evening entertainment lasts long enough to be enjoyable without becoming the central focus, while the daytime activities are available for guests to join or leave as they please.
The entertainment team were excellent throughout. Niomi and her colleague, whose name we unfortunately did not catch, were both completely on point and made the activities enjoyable without placing any pressure on guests to take part. We would particularly recommend the painting session. It may sound like an unusual holiday activity, but spending 30 minutes out of the heat with a glass of wine was exactly right. The cocktail-making session was also great fun and well worth joining.
The bar service was equally impressive. Roberto was fantastic, consistently friendly, attentive and professional, and he helped make the experience feel personal rather than routine.
Front of house were brilliant across the board. Veronica was particularly attentive and also helped us with more general enquiries about things to do outside the resort, which we greatly appreciated. That willingness to help beyond the immediate hotel experience says a great deal about the standard of service.
What particularly distinguishes Secrets Lanzarote is the combination of excellent customer service, its beautiful location, the adults-only environment and the outstanding food. We have been fortunate enough to travel extensively, and the standard of food here is genuinely second to none.
With a little forward planning and use of the hotel app, it is easy to shape each day around your own preferences. We have recommended the hotel to friends and family, particularly on an all-inclusive Preferred Club basis where the budget allows. This provides greater choice and the opportunity to enjoy several excellent restaurants. Our usual favourites are Portofino, the Grill and Oceana. On this occasion, because of scheduled works, we were also fortunate to have access to Portofino for breakfast, which was another excellent experience.
Secrets Lanzarote continues to offer exactly what we value in a holiday: warmth, consistency, excellent food and thoughtful service in a peaceful setting. We will certainly return.

Lovely second visit - felt like returning home
We had visited this hotel 9years previously with middle teens - what a pleasure to return here… it felt like returning home! Familiar surroundings familiar routines - same friendly and helpful staff - lovely local restaurants down at the marina (only 10 minutes walk away) Good evening entertainment - sports bar ideal for late night World Cup watching! Drinks Service really good despite busy crowds 👏 aqua gym very enjoyable too. Rooms very clean and well serviced daily. Beds great and rooms quiet - great sleep had by all. Air conditioning worked well and no problems there. Breakfast good and enjoyable morning space in world cafe. Never felt too busy. Sunbeds always available and towels easily obtained.
